The top floor of Wilson Co. was absolutely quiet. Since the morning, there has been a constant refrain with absolutely no noise swirling on this floor.
The CEO's office is located on the topmost floor. The pitch-black Glenwood door was adorned with a gleaming silver plate. The silver plate displayed Hela Wilson in exquisite detail.
The floor was empty except for a side desk beside the entrance of the CEO's office. Jane Miller was Hela's personal assistant. She was silently deposited in her place and doing her work.
She pushed her square-rimmed glass back and resumed typing on the computer. She was so preoccupied with herself that she didn't notice the footsteps pursuing her.
Someone tapped on the table, drawing her attention. She looked up, startled, to see a cute short girl staring back at her. Her smile was contagious, as Jane had a similar one on her face in less than a second.
"Is Hela inside?"
Jane nodded hesitantly when the girl asked. Because not everyone has access to the CEO floor. Only a few counted people can come to the floor, and if this girl has the VIP elevator, it is certain that she was someone important to her boss as she had seen her coming out of the elevator which was only designated for the CEO, and since they are on a first-name basis, she couldn't dare to disobey her boss.
Jane got out of her chair and led her to the office.
"May I ask what your name is?" Jane inquired politely.
The girl introduced herself by nodding and bowing slightly, making Jane smile slightly at her antics.
"My name is Melody. "How about you?"
"This is Jane Miller."
Jane demonstrated her ID card to her. Melody muttered an oh, followed by a small thank you. Jane resumed her work after handing the new entry a cup of iced coffee.
Jane rubbed her eyes and rested her head on the table for a few minutes after taking off her glasses.
The common elevator opened with a ding and a man stepped out. When she detected the noise, she looked up and furrowed her brows. The phone next to her rang, and she responded to it.

"Honey, Honey, Honey."
Melody sang as she walked into the cabin. It is completely furnished in white and grey.
Typical! cliche CEO feel.
The cabin was enormous. It is composed of a massive glass table and an office chair placed beside the glass window. Hardly a few months ago, the ceiling light was aesthetically upgraded. The swanky appearance was appealing to the eyes.
The waterfall-back sofa was elegantly positioned in the room's corner. A small crescent-shaped center table was placed next to the sofa. The zigzag-shaped lamp appended another creative touch. Some flower cores were placed in the appropriate spot. The given adequate of the cabin was honed and classic.
Melody searched the entire cabin but managed to find only her bestie's trench coat and black leather shoulder bag.
She took a deep breath and kept the corsage on the crescent table. She took out an old vintage bucolic flower pot from the table's cabinet and carefully arranged the blossoms on the vase one by one.
She stood up and placed the flower-filled vase on the working table, pushing Hela's MacBook aside to make room for her newly decorated vase.
She sighed languidly as she stood looking at the flower. Melody had absolutely adored flowers from when she was a kid, and her love kept growing as the time progressed.
'Flowers are divine love.'
Melody muttered, staring at them in a daze, lost in thought.
The abrupt click of the doorknob brought her back to the real world from her la...la land. Melody had an instant idea while looking at Hela, and she hid behind the sofa. Her office had a modern flair attached to it. It has everything you need, including a small bedroom and a small closet with a washroom.
Hela couldn't see her because the bathroom was right adjacent to the sofa. She turned and returned to her table. Her phone rang, and she walked over to the glass wall, looking out at the city and the crowded road.
"Yeah…Ok…Hmm…"
Melody overheard her friend humming and nodding in agreement with the caller. She stared blankly at her bestie's phone and wanted to berate the caller, but her mother Mary told her that hurling abuse at anyone was bad.
Her legs were cramped and she had been stuck in an awkward position for more than ten minutes. She peered a little further and discovered her missing from her current situation. Her gaze returned to the desk but found the chair empty.
"Where has she gone?"
Melody whispered to herself and kept looking around the room, attempting to comprehend where her friend had gone. Is she a genie who can vanish whenever she wished?
"Melo, how old are you?"
Melody stilled for a moment. She shivered as she perceived the voice dangerously close to her ear and she jumped on her place landing with a thumping sound on the ground.
Hela shook her head and walked.
"At least help me." Melody hounded in pain and sluggishly stood up to confront the girl
