Chapter 6 - Chapter 6( Her groom)

"That's my bride," he said walking over to Rainer,

As he walked his shoes clicked to the marble floor which echoed In the silent room. Rainer who saw the man walked felt a certain feeling of relief washing over her. She quickly ran away from the mad alpha and ran towards the stranger, wrapping her hands around his waist. She looked up at him with narrowed eyes feeling as if he had seen him before.

She let go and stood behind him when she heard the feral growl of the lycans who had fully changed to their beast form. She turned around and to her shock, the man who she thought was dead stood up from the ground and gave a small smile as he joined the men who did the same as him.

Rainer felt so confused by everything but soon her mind quickly went to the more important issues at hand Mindy. But as Rainer looked around she realized that they were surrounded. Promptly she removed her spell book and cased a spell-making duplicate of all the men including herself, soon the hall became a battlefield.

Rainer used this opportunity to slip away to look for Mindy. The gown she wore was getting in her way so she tore the gown reducing the length.

She walked through the premises of the school and picked up a bow and arrow that she found useful and easier to use. She hied anytime she saw a shadow pass, she didn't want unnecessary fighting especially not when she hadn't found her sister yet.

She made her way to the driveway where she saw a lycan standing guard by a tinted, black SUV car, walking to and fro with its ears alert. It was like all the other beasts had gone to defend their alpha in the hall, leaving just this lycan. Rainer drew the arrow and aimed it at the beast, she concentrated hard on the neck of the beast, satisfied, she shot the beast directly in the neck killing it on the spot. She came out of her hidden place still alert, she kicked the beast a couple of times to make sure that it was really dead.

Satisfied, she went over to the door but it was locked, she looked around looking for anything that she could use to break the window. Her eyes landed on a rod that was attached to a cemented stone, it was a little heavy to lift but she managed. She hit the glass a couple of times before it finally broke.

The sun was beginning to rise signifying a new day, new strength, and new hope. Promptly she unlocked the car from within and brought out her sister that was laying unconscious in the back seat.

Seeing her sister's sleeping face warmed her heart and gave it peace. All the stress of the past hour had started taking a toll on her and she found herself drifting into the darkness that welcomed her with open arms.

**

She woke up to the afternoon rays falling on her face, she blinked a couple of times to get used to the light that piped through the curtains. promptly sat up hastily as she realise that she was not in her room but in a more lavish room instead. As tired as she was she still forced herself to get up from the bed. Was she in the lycan's realm? Because she remembered herself falling asleep in one of their cars and there was no way that those five men could have won against a pack of Lycans.

Looking down at herself she realized that she wasn't wearing the wedding gown that she wore earlier but instead she was wearing a silk nightgown and a matching rob. Who put me in this?

As she stood there wondering how everything came to be the door opened and a man with long hair that stopped on his shoulder with metallic gray eyes walked in. It was the man from the hall, what was he doing here? Does this mean that they won against the lycans? but how come? As if sensing her worry he spoke.

"Good morning, did you sleep well?" he asked with a small smile on his lips,

"Umm, yes, yes I did,"

"Good, you should go freshening up, it's passed lunch time but we can arrange something for you,"

"Thank you," Rainer said with a small smile before going into the bathroom.

After almost an hour of cleaning up, Rainer came out in her towel, she piped to check if the man was still there but thankfully he wasn't. They were already fresh clean clothes folded on the bed, they look comfortable so she tried them on and they were her perfect size.

She wore a v-neck floral gown that stopped above her knees, it hugged her upper body well and free from the waist. She was glad for her fast healing abilities, they weren't as fast as that of a vampire or lycan but faster than a human's. Thinking about humans, she wondered where Mindy was, she picked up her spell book that was lying on the table and just flipped through the chapters blankly.

A knock on the door snapped her out of her train of thought. She opened the door to find a girl that seemed to be in her eighteenth or nineteenth year, she had long dark hair and green eyes, and she had a smile that could charm anyone.

"Good morning Rainer, please follow me," She spoke politely,

"To where exactly,"

"The garden where your meal would be served,"

"Oh, okay,"

And with that they were off, they walked through the castle-like mansion that felt like that of a fairy tale, she could not satisfy her eyes with the sight of the mansion but she still had questions that needed answering.

They arrived at the garden where the man was facing her with his back. Rainer could see how broad his shoulders were and how tall he was, his long dark hair was left to fall freely on his shoulder, dancing to the tune of the wind. He turned around and lead Rainer to a small table that had different varieties of food placed on it. The young girl was maybe the same age as Rainer began serving the food on their plates.

"Thank you,"

The man just waved his hand in dismissing the girl, the girl bowed her head and left both of them alone. The food looked so appetizing but Rainer was lost in the garden. The garden was largely filled with different categories of flowers of different colors, not too far from where they sat she could hear the flowing of the water in an artificial stream that had a small bridge that crossed over to the other side, there was also a white small, swing that was covered at the top. The garden was just too beautiful for her eyes to get satisfied.

"Are you going to eat or keep admiring the garden,"

"I'm, the garden is just so beautiful, I've never seen such before so I got distracted, ha ha," Rainer gave a nervous laugh trying to hide her embarrassment.

"There's nothing to be embarrassed about, this is our garden so you can come here anytime you want,"

Hearing the word our garden, made Rainer raise her brow at him. Noticing the look on her face he said.

"Do you have any questions you like to ask?"

"Yes, yes I do. you said our garden,"

"Yes,"

"What do you mean by that?" Rainer asked as politely as she could.

The man seemed to have been waiting for that question, cause he didn't react to it, he just picked up Rainer's right hand which erupted a spark between them and began rubbing the golden and silver ring-like mark, that formed on her ring finger with his thumb.

"You are my wife," he simply said looking into her eyes.

Rainer felt a spark on her hand where he had touched her, she tried pulling away but his grip was firm, it wasn't tight but firm. And now hearing him say those words, she didn't know how to react to it. She just stared into his eyes that looked just like that of the man in her dream and for some strange reason, she felt that he was telling the truth but still, how?

"You know that what I'm saying is the truth, don't you? you can feel the connection between us and you also have many marks," he said looking at the booming flower that was on her neck,

" I know but at the same time I don't," Rainer said lowering her head, but he raised his her head with his finger prompting her to look at him, she shivered at the spark but didn't pull away,

"Don't think too much Rainer, with time you understand," he said flashing her a small smile, " now eat, before your food gets cold,"

"Yes, but I didn't get your name,"

"you ask of my name as if you didn't call it a few hours ago," he said those words with a mischievous glint in his eyes,

Rainer looked at him questioningly before the memory of last night came rushing back at her, her cheeks flushed a light shade of pink as she remembered how she called out to him and hugged him even though she hadn't met him before.

"Ring a bell," he asked leaning back on his chair, enjoying the different emotions that flashed on her face.

"Yes,"

"So, what's it,"

"Kylan,"
