Chapter 12 - Chapter 12( Her first rid)

Rainer work up in Kylan's arms, she could smell his unique masculine scent that always makes her crave for more.

She realized that they were still on the there journey. The inside coach was light with tiny, tiny silver light that stuck to the curtains. Kylan had also closed his curtain, looking up she could see the moon which shown brightly in the sky with the stars all that surrounds it.

Rainer could hear the whispers of the reckless souls outside. This time it was a little louder than usual and she could pick a few words for what they said, they weren't clear though, she could hear the words but they weren't in English or other languages she could understand.

She shivered a bit not because she felt cold, but for a different reason she didn't quite know,

"Are you feeling cold?" She heard the concerned voice of Kylan.

"No, I'm not, I'm just...I don't know... the whispers,"

"Don't worry, take this, it would help keep the voice out of your head," he said, putting earplugs into Rainer's ear,

Rainer smiled at his thoughtfulness and snuggled closer into his embrace.

When Rainer opened her eyes she found herself alone in the stage. She wondered where everyone had gone, she stretch her hands to open the curtains but stopped, if she was alone in the desert at night, the safest place would be on top of the beast because they repel magic and restless souls.

Time passed and they were no sign of anyone and it felt like a storm was coming. Rainer's heart began to beat loudly in her chest, and the urge to go out was killing her. She planned on closing her eyes till the next day but she couldn't,

She felt the stage tremble tremendously, which made her fall to the floor. She trembles uncontrollably as she lay on the floor, praying for Kylan's return.

After almost two minutes of the earth trembling everything fell, silent even the whispers they all stopped. Rainer stood up from the ground she laid and lay on the seat covering herself with the silver cloak. She closed her eyes and began to count maybe when she opened them again something would change.

But all too soon she felt the entire coach fall to the ground, disturbing the entire stage and throwing Rainer out of it. Rainer felt an intense amount of pain, washing over her as she tried getting up.

Looking up she saw nothing except the broken stage, the sand, and the moon, but still, she felt fear knowing that she was all alone. She covered herself from head to toe with the cloak, because of the cold she felt and also because it gave her a slight sense of comfort,

She began to walk further and further away from the shared stage and into the dead wasteland, with the moon as her only source of light and her only company. But she could still feel that intense gaze in her, which made her very uncomfortable.

Soon the whispers began to arise again, making her body tremble. Looking back she could see the shadow-like creatures that had red dots as eyes.

Rainer began to run as fast as she could but she could not outrun them. Rainer was surrounded by those shadows but she noticed that they couldn't come close to her, something was repelling them. But that didn't stop the tormenting whispers she heard.

They began swirling around her making the whispers unbearable for her. As she looked into their pit-red eyes Rainer couldn't help but shiver at the memory she saw. She closed her eyes, pressing her head on the sand with her hand trying to close off her ears to the whispers.

The memory of what she saw was short but gruesome. She saw three women, one with long silver hair that was covered in blood with her eyes as black as the unending dark pit of hell, the other had red hair with the same eyes while the last one had no hair with similar dark hair.

They all had sharp shark-like teeth that were colored red. They stood in a pyramid that overlooked a gruesome mascara that painted the soil red and standing behind them was a man with flowing dark hair that reaches his waist.

Rainer's body trembled with that vision. She could feel the pain from the injustice that came upon them and their yawning for external rest.

"Rainer,"

She could hear them calling out to her but why. Their voice becoming louder than the previous.

"Rainer, Rainer!!"

Her eyes snapped open to see the horrified look of Kylan who looked as if he had been trying to wake her for some time now.

" My goodness Rainer," he pulled her into his embrace, "You scared me,"

Rainer could feel his body tremble as he held her tightly in his arm. Rainer tried pulling away but he didn't let her. She just patted his back to calm him down. He pulled away and stared deep into her hazel eyes before placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Take this Rainer, it is safer for you to have your spell book here," Kylan said putting Rainer's spell book in her hands,

"I thought you wanted to train me...."

"I can always train you Rainer, but for now I need you to have it and use it whenever you feel like it,"

Hearing him say those words Rainer could feel that, the place they were in was not safe. She had a lot to ask but Rainer just kept it to herself,

"Okay, I will," She said hugging Kylan.

After that, a few maids came in and insisted on bathing Rainer but Rainer refused. Rainer bathed herself but the maid help her into her dress and did her makeup and her hair for her.

But Rainer didn't like the dress she had to wear, wearing it she felt exposed. The dress had a v-neck that showed off too much cleavage and the dress entirely was see-through, which had goldenly embodied on the lower part of the dress.

Jasmine walked in and spoke to the maid and soon they all left them alone.

"Good morning Rainer," she greeted with a smile,

"Good morning Jasmine, I'm glad to finally see a familiar face around," Rainer said.

They both chatted for a while before she brought out a silver silk dress with a golden embodiment. The free was beautiful and covered her body, it exposed her shoulders and little cleavage but it was better than the one the maids brought for her.

Jasmine gave her some jewelry Kylan gave to her, she did some little touches here and there before letting her face the mirror.

Rainer gasped as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, she looked like a real-life princess her dark hair was divided in two, one more than the other, they were left to fall freely like an endless waterfall, the dress hugged her body well and brought out her eyes. The silver necklace made her neckless bear.

Soon Kylan walked and his eyes were the first to complement her before his lips.

"You look, beautiful wife," he said walking closer and placing a gentle kiss on her knuckle while pipping through his long lashes at her.

"You look very handsome too," Rainer said honestly with a smile.

Kylan indeed looked handsome with his hair that was left to fall freely and his royal artier. He stretched out his hand for Rainer to take which she did before they walked out of the room.

They walked through the hallway that screamed royalty and wealth. Rainer could barely keep her eyes to herself as she walked through the massive hall. But one thing did and that was the woman who had the blazing red hair that was walking towards her, no, not her but to Kylan.
