Raena was up for a challenge at the time and was willing to do her best not to fail because she wanted to grow within the new world and explore it if possible.
"Raena, good morning, kid,I wanted to tell you, if you fail the next test, do not take another," Akaz said as he approached her just as she was about to speak to Drakun, and she smiled.
"If that's what you think is best then sure," She replied and he smiled then patted her on the shoulder.
"Lady Raena, good luck at the academy, you are going to need it this time around," Drakun said.
"You are special after all," Akaz said with a grin.
"Also, Drakun, I am new here but I don't intend to let this get me down," She said and he sighed, feeling a bit relieved after hearing her say that.
Despite only recently getting to know them, Raena knew she could at least trust them when it came to the academy, and they hadn't done anything so far to show her any reason why she shouldn't.
She smiled before waving at Drakun and they disappeared, then reappeared beside the academy where no one could see them like usual.
"Go have a good day, you'll meet my family soon enough, don't worry, I know you still don't trust us, but if anything strange happens to you Raena, find me or Drakun, okay?" She sighed as she looked him in the eyes and realized he was really worried about her.
"All right, I'll come to find you or Drakun, and hopefully..." She replied and he chuckled.
"It's fine, you are a good kid Raena, those who can't see that in you are blind, go ahead, make your spot where you want to, make your mark kid, I will see you tonight, bye," He said.
"Bye," She replied, before he vanished and she entered the academy.
"Where should I go for the second test?" Raena inquired as she opened the book and checked the guide, which only marked the direction on one of the pages as to where she needed to go, then she smiled and followed it as the bell for the academy rang and she went to the academy's western side.
Raena arrived at her destination and noticed a student standing by the door.
"Good morning, may I have the book? You will receive an official timetable once you are assigned to your official classroom; this was only given to newcomers; it contains a map of the academy," Raena smiled as the young man spoke.
"Good morning," She replied, then handed him the book and he opened the door before entering and she followed him in.
"Raena," Kyla called out as she approached her, and Raena smiled at her.
"Good morning," She said.
"Good morning, Raena, we might get assigned to our classes today, the demon teachers handled the other students well, seems like there are a lot of new teachers that are being split into different sections," She replied and Raena sighed, feeling a bit relieved to hear that.
"Good morning," they said as she opened her book and a magical circle appeared on the floor in front of her eyes.
"That's good to know, the sooner we start learning the better, I have a lot of catching up to do if I want to stay here," Raena said and Kyla nodded as a blonde woman entered the room which was very big and she smiled at them.
"Good morning," She said cheerfully.
"Good morning," They replied as she opened her book, a magical circle appeared on the floor and she looked at them.
"Hello, my name is Miki, and I will be guiding you through what is supposed to be your final test; don't worry, if you fail, you will be given another test; your tests aren't difficult, and if you're wondering if two is enough, yes, it's more than enough."
"After all, the classes you'll be going into will assign you to your subjects, best suited for you if you're getting stronger classes will be added to your lists, well, there's one class that gets to choose their subjects because they're not in order, but that doesn't need to be discussed now, your abilities will decide where you go and how you grow will determine how you move up in the academy, good luck kids, this is your only chance at the academy," She explained.
Raena and Kyla exchanged glances as the teacher handed them marked papers, which they collected before she looked at them.
"Do you know what today's class is about?" She asked.
Nessa looked at the paper carefully before realizing she had seen the marking in the summoning section of the book Akaz had given her.
The teacher smiled as Nessa blurted out, "Summoning."
"Yes, for those who don't know what I'm talking about, which is impossible at your age, it's the ritual in which demons summon magical beasts and make them familiars."
"Today, you will summon your first familiar; if you already know who or what your familiar is, that's even better; now step into the center of the circle, use your blood, trace it over the seal, and the paper will light up bright orange then disappear to summon your familiar," She said with a sigh.
The first student entered the magical circle, and the other students watched intently as he summoned his creature, which was small but cute, and he seemed pleased.
'Having a familiar seems nice; I wonder if I'll have one; I'm not sure I will, but if I do, what will it be like,' Raena pondered as Kyla entered the circle next and successfully summoned a fox-like creature.
"Raena, it's now your turn, just follow the instruction the teacher gave and you will be just fine, no need to worry I am sure you will summon a fine creature, I am pleased with my mine even though it's small, and I hope you will be with yours as well, go ahead, and you might want to relax a bit for this," Kyla said with a grin, and Raena smiled before stepping into the circle and looking at the paper.
