Trustin recalled the day when the first time he came to the Moon Lake with his father. He was five years old at that time. Because the lake looked white in the night with a slight shimmer emancipating from it, so it was called Moon Lake.
He sat on its bank and kept his gaze fixed at the lake. Whenever his thoughts were disoriented, he would come here and stayed for hours to bring his thoughts at the right place.
He was guilty of his act and he did not like to see that Elysia was upset with him. She did not trust him at all. He had no other way except forcing her to keep her with him until he told her truth.
"So, here you are!" Eithan voiced.
Trustin lifted his head and looked at his brother. "Why are you here? I want to be alone," Trustin stated.
"Then, you will keep your thoughts to yourself," Eithan said and sat next to him. "Why did you marry, Elysia? Isn't she your mate?" he questioned him.
"Because she is my mate, that is why I married her. I got fooled over that scent. It was Elysia from the beginning. I had no option, but to threaten her," Trustin asserted.
"You cannot stay like this with her throughout your life. You need to show Elysia how much you love her," Eithan suggested to Trustin.
"I do not love her, Eithan. My wolf wants her not me," Trustin stated.
"And what is the difference between the two?" Eithan arched his eyebrow.
"I get conflicted with my thoughts," Trustin affirmed.
"But I feel you have a good control on your senses. Isn't that strange? Usually, around a mate it is hard to control your desires," Eithan proclaimed.
Trustin knitted his brows, but did not put much thought to his brother's words. "Why do you not tell me about Elysia? I do not know anything about her." Trustin decided to learn about Elysia. Since Eithan was Elysia's best friend, he knew her better.
"Do you remember when I run from the house when Dad refused to except my sexuality?" Eithan asked Trustin.
"Of course. How can I forget that night? It took me a month to find your whereabouts," Trsutin proclaimed.
"I encountered Elysia the day I ran from the Hunter Estate. She was in the same university as mine and she helped me with everything. Money is everything for people. If you do not possess money, no one will want to even talk to you. Elysia was different from all those people. So, you can see what kind of person Elysia is!" Eithan stated and a tiny smile formed on his lips.
"She is kind and naive. She thinks that every person is honest like her, has a pure heart liked her. She is poor in understanding the characters and that is her biggest weakness. She is an architect and interior designer by profession. You should punish her ex, who betrayed her. That way she will gain trust on you. I mean, she will think that her husband cares for her and did such a big thing for her," Eithan advised him.
"Destroying his ex's life is a piece of cake for me. I have thought to do it because I was betrayed too," Trustin said.
"Take her out on dates. I cannot tell you everything about her. How will you find Elysia's true self if I tell you everything?" Eithan muttered with an amusing smile.
"I never went on dates. So, I do not know what it actually would be. Suggest me what should I do for her," Trustin said.
"She loves beaches. Her one of the many hobbies is to watch the sunset," Eithan informed Trustin.
"I do not like beaches," Trustin said.
"Are you serious, Trustin?" Eithan chuckled. "She is your wife. You need to find happiness in her happiness. How could you be so naive in love?" He asked and told Trustin to take Elysia to a beach tomorrow.
"I have an important meeting in the evening," Trustin said.
"Is Elysia important for you or the meeting?" Eithan inquired.
"It is a very important meeting, Eithan. I have been after that deal for a long time. I can take Elysia for dinner. I will see when I will be free at the time of the sunset to take her to the beach," Trustin explained to his brother.
"Dinner date is fine too," Eithan said.
"What does she like? She did not tell me her favorite food," Trustin said and asked Eithan to help him.
"Tsk. I will not tell you. Ask her yourself," Eithan affirmed.
"Do not be petty. Tell your brother," Trustin requested. "She is angry with me. I do not want to ask her when her mood is terrible. I want to surprise her by asking her for a dinner date," he stated.
"Okay," Eithan agreed to him and told Trustin about Elysia's likes. Both the brothers talked for long hours together by the lakeside.
