Elysia got the call from the broker regarding the selling of the beach house. He had asked her to come to the office to sign in the documents. Elysia hung up the call and put the phone on the mattress. Last night, Trustin did not come home. He was such a bad person and now she had decided that she would not care for him anymore.
Elysia changed into a black and white midi dress which had a pleated skirt and a-line collars. She kept her hair loose. She sprinkled the perfume on the side of her neck and wrists. Carrying a black sling bag and wearing black platform shoes, she left for the broker's office. She checked the keys once before leaving the room.
Elysia asked the driver to take her to the mentioned address on the business card she handed to him. An hour later, she reached the office of the broker.
Stepping out of the elevator on the third floor, she went to the head office and pushed the glass door in.
The broker, Freddie Wilson, stood up from the leather chair and greeted Elysia. He asked her to take a seat and introduced her to the purchaser. "This is Aaron Park. He is willing to purchase the property at the desired price that Mrs. Hunter has decided," Freddie informed Elysia.
Both Elysia and Aaron shook hands and sat down. "Did Mr. Park look around the house?" Elysia asked him.
"Since it is the beach house, I suppose it will be the best," Aaron stated.
Elysia smiled and advised him to check around the house once. "Perhaps Mr. Park does not like a few things in the house. I mean…" She paused as Aaron interrupted her in the middle.
"Rest assured, Mrs. Hunter. The photos were enough to tell me that the house looks majestic. It is one unique construction in the beach houses I have ever seen," Aaron asserted. "Let's proceed with signing the documents," he stated. Before that he made the payment to Elysia through online mode.
Once the documents were signed, Elysia thanked Aaron for his time. She took out the house keys from her sling bag and handed them to Aaron. The beach house was very special to her because this was her first project after she graduated from the world's best architectural university.
Everything about the beach house was memorable to her. But at the same time, the painful memories lay there. She transferred the decided commission amount to Freddie and thanked him. As she stepped out of the office, her phone rang and she checked it.
"Trustin'!" She was stunned to see his name flashing on the screen. "Why is he calling me?" Elysia twitched her lips and cut his call.
Trustin, who was on the other side of the phone, looked at his mobile screen. "Did she just hang up on him?" He muttered and again called her. He did it until she did not answer his call.
Elysia got annoyed and finally answered his call after stepping out of the elevator.
"Why are you troubling me?" Elysia asked him.
"Because you intentionally cut my calls," Trustin said.
"You know that I have no interest in conversing with you," Elysia asserted.
"Are you still angry because of the last night? Can I not even kiss you?" Trustin asked from the other side. Eithan had told him to talk calmly with Elysia, but it was not going to happen easily.
Elysia chuckled. "You were the one who left the house in anger and did not return. I know we both married because," she paused as she saw a few people coming from the front. When those people walked past her, she continued, "because you wanted revenge. I do not want to live with you in that mansion neither do I want your money to support myself. As you said, let's just say married in front of the world."
"Where are you?" Trustin asked her as he pressed his fingers on his forehead.
"Why should I tell you?" Elysia almost shrieked at him. She was annoyed. "I am hanging up," she said as she ran her fingers through her hair. Before Trustin could speak, the call disconnected.
Trustin looked at the phone screen and sighed. He finally understood her frustration and decided to act on Eithan's advice. Though he had some important meetings today, his priority was to cheer up Elysia at the moment. He already had made mistakes and for the first time, he was guilty too. He somewhere had hurt a pure-hearted woman like Elysia, so he wanted to make up for it.
Trustin slid his phone into his pocket and sat on the swivel chair. He leaned back on it and waited for his secretary to come to his office.
After half an hour, Trustin instructed his secretary to postpone his day's meetings. The secretary acted on his boss's demand.
"Sir, here are the papers of the house that you wanted. Please sign on them."
Trustin took the pen from him and asked them to do the remaining work.
"Sir, here are the keys," the secretary said. Trustin thanked him as he took the keys from his secretary.
He picked up his blazer from the hanger and also the car keys from the table before leaving the office.
Trustin inserted the location in the GPS device of his electric car and then drove to see Elysia.
