Elysia fetched the order from the penthouse guard at the door and walked in to find the kitchen. The penthouse was huge with a lot of rooms, so it was a little difficult for her to find places when Trustin had not shown them to her.
After reading about the werewolves, she was feeling a bit better, knowing the fact that they were like normal humans in many aspects with several other aspects such as remarkable strength, speed, and shape-shifting.
Elysia was mumbling a song while emptying the food into the bowls. Suddenly, she had forgotten everything that had happened to her earlier. She wasn't even angry at Trustin. This sudden change in her, brought happiness in her.
Putting the spoons into the bowls, she started setting the dining table. As she placed the last bowl, she heard Trustin's voice and tilted her head to look at him.
Her jaw dropped in an awe as she saw him in the black T-shirt and loose trousers. His hair was still wet, a little shabby. But the hotness oozed out from him would make any woman's knees weak.
What was she thinking?!
"Thank you for receiving the food. I took longer time than usual," Trustin said and pulled out a chair for her. She gazed at him when he asked her to sit.
Elysia sat down on the chair and he moved it slightly forward before getting seated on the chair across from her.
"Are you alright?" Trustin again asked her and saw her serving meals for them.
"Yes, I am better," Elysia replied and pushed the bowl filled with chicken broth. Trustin hummed and picked up the spoon to drink the broth first, followed by eating the small chicken pieces in it. "Your eyes were beautiful," she said and it made Trustin stop eating. He gazed into her eyes, trying to find if she was genuine.
"Did you forgive me?" Trustin asked her.
"Of course. I cannot be angry at you forever," Elysia stated and began eating.
Trustin smiled to know that he was finally forgiven. They both silently finished their meals. Trustin helped Elysia in putting the dishes into the washbasin.
"I will wash them. You can go to bed," Elysia said.
"The maid will do it tomorrow. There are a lot of dishes," Trustin said, and told her to follow him to the bedroom. He grasped her wrist and took her to the bedroom. His left her hand as soon as they stepped into the bedroom.
"I need to wash up."
"I need to brush my teeth."
Both Elysia and Trustin spoke up at the same time.
"You should brush your teeth first," Elysia said.
Trustin hummed and again headed to the washroom while Elysia checked in the cupboard if she could find a pair of clothes for herself. To her surprise, there were no clothes for her. It was her first time visit to the penthouse, so it was obvious there would be no clothes for her.
Her eyes landed on the white shirt and she wondered if she should wear that. There were a lot of thoughts in her mind and after staring at it for almost five minutes, she heard Trustin's voice.
"You should wear that for tonight. I forgot to pick a night dress for you," Trustin said. She felt his upper body brush her back as he leaned close to the cupboard to take out the shirt.
"The trousers are on the other side," Trustin said after handing her the shirt.
"I will wear this only. Your trousers won't fit me," Elysia stated.
"Fine," Trustin agreed with her, and she left for the washroom. Trustin checked his phone and saw Eithan's messages. He called his brother and assured him everything was fine. Elysia was safe and was with him.
"You should have come with home with her," Eithan said from the other side of the call.
"The Hunter Estate is far," Trustin stated, "we are safe here."
"Who could be those men? Do you have any idea?" Eithan asked.
"I did not recognize them. They had hidden their scents well. It is my first time to see such people," Trustin said and frowned.
"I will go and investigate with the Beta," Eithan opined.
"It's not safe in the night. Don't go there. Stay at home," Trustin asserted.
Eithan did not argue with his brother. Trustin knew better than anyone. "Did you tell Elysia about us?" He queried.
"Yes. I could not hide it anymore from her. Someday she would have found out," Trustin proclaimed. Eithan could not agree less with him and told him not to scare Elysia anymore. He hung up while Trustin lowered his hand.
"Who could be my enemy who wants to hurt Elysia?" He scratched the middle of his forehead and put the phone on the bedside table. He got into the bed and rested his head on the headboard.
