Elysia gained her consciousness and found Trustin in front of her eyes. He helped her sit and put two pillows behind her. He brushed the loose tendrils behind her ear and stopped his hand on her left cheek. "How are you feeling?" Trustin's voice was gentle.
"Where are we?" Elysia asked as she looked around. She looked at the floor-to-ceiling window and saw the giant water pool outside.
"At my penthouse," Trustin replied. "The beach house was not safe, so I brought you here since it was the nearest place," he asserted.
"Who were those men? He was talking about killing me. It never happened with me before, Trustin. Did you inform the police about it?" Elysia asked and recalled how hard he punched that unknown man. "You hit with such a huge force that a large crack appeared on the wall," she muttered and gazed at him in bewilderment.
"Umm… I am a werewolf, the Alpha of my pack," Trustin revealed the truth to her. He did not want to hide his real identity to her since those men would again appear to harm her.
"Don't joke with me," Elysia said and chuckled at him. "If you don't want to tell me, then just say it," she huffed. Elysia did not believe his words and took it as a joke.
"So, did you inform the police? I remember their faces, so I can tell the police about them," Elysia affirmed.
"I didn't inform the police," Trustin said.
"What? Why?" Elysia confusedly glanced at him with inquisitiveness. She looked for her mobile so that she could call at the police station when Trustin stopped her.
"I know those men," Trustin said. Elysia turned to face him as she stopped searching for her mobile. "They belonged to an enemy pack, I believe," he stated.
"Trustin, it is not time to play with me. I was almost dead. You are telling me a fictional story," Elysia said with a fit of rage. The next second, her eyes widened when she found how Trustin's eye color changed into a golden one.
"I am not narrating any fictional story to you," Trustin's voice had turned deeper and it intimidated Elysia. Her fingers dug into the bedsheet. "I am the alpha of the Blood Moon Pack. You are my Luna. You should not be doubtful of my identity. After what happened in the beach house, you should get the idea that a normal human can punch with such a huge force. The person can be dead with that punch, but that man did not," he stated.
Elysia was shocked to learn to find the truth about his identity. She was married to a werewolf!
Wait!
Was the entire Hunter family werewolf including her best friend, Eithan?!
"You don't need to fear me because I don't eat humans," Trustin said and stood up.
"Why didn't you tell me before? Do werewolves live among us? Do you shapeshift as they mention in the stories? Trustin, you don't get mad after turning into a werewolf, right? I saw in the movies how difficult it gets for a werewolf when the full moon night is near and they—" she stopped speaking as Trustin's index finger rested on her lips.
"Shhhh," Trustin hushed her. "I have a good control on me. Only the first few months of the transformation, there is a bit of difficulty," he asserted and pulled his hand back. He slid his hands into his pockets and asked her what she would like to have for dinner.
"Can you cook?" Elysia asked him.
Trustin shook his head. "I will order," he said and took out his phone from his left pocket.
"Make a haste, Eli," Trustin said as he opened the food ordering app.
"Anything you would like to eat," Elysia stated.
"Well, I asked your choice for dinner for a reason. Tell me quickly," Trustin said. Elysia asked him to give her the phone and she would select. Trustin handed her his phone. A few minutes later, Elysia returned the phone.
"I will order pastries for the sweet dish," Trustin said and placed the orders. He put the phone on the bedside table and told her he would head to the washroom. "You should take the orders if I do not come out early," he said and walked away.
Elysia exhaled deeply and found her phone on the bedside table. She picked it up and quickly searched for werewolves information. There was certain news about them which she had never heard before.
There were incidents where humans had spotted werewolves in some towns and mostly in the countryside. Her eyes were glued to the screen as she read all those news. The werewolves had attacked some people as well, which terrified her. She recalled how those two men, who were werewolves, wanted to kill her. She gulped and her hands again began to shake.
She landed on the search page where it mentioned how werewolves had stronger attraction toward their mates. Unlike the normal humans, it usually was difficult for them to control their urges, sexual attraction toward their mates.
"How did Trustin control himself? Since he is a werewolf, he must have felt the strong scent of me," Elysia mumbled.
