"Let me go," Elysia said with a stern tone. When Trustin refused "Did you call me a wild cat?" Elysia asked while being furious.
"Yes," Trustin immediately responded. Elysia squinted her eyes at him and asked him to let her go before she would scream.
"Do you think I am scared of your threat? Even if you scream, no one will come inside. They are very well aware of the fact that this room is of newlyweds," Trustin said. Elysia averted her gaze from him as she realized that it would be no use to argue with him.
"Forgive me for my earlier mistake," Trustin's low voice fell in her ears. His calloused fingers pulled her chin in his direction and urged her to look at him. Elysia gazed into his eyes.
"I understand that we two were not meant to be together. I did not know that you would tell Joseph about it. It is my fault not to talk to you about it," Trustin stated. "Joseph is not a nice guy. So, stay away from him," he asserted.
Elysia chuckled. "He is better than you," she affirmed.
"Do not say that to irritate me," Trustin warned her.
"Why? What will you do?" Elysia challenged him. "I will speak the truth. Joseph is a better person than you," she pronounced.
Trustin's jaw clenched and he let go of his hand from her waist. Instead, he cupped her face and kissed her hard, shocking Elysia. She placed her hand on his chest to push him away, but he did not stop there.
Why she had to awaken his bad wolf? Did she not understand his words? He did not like when someone would challenge him. The fact that he did not like was Elysia, his wife, was praising another man in front of him.
"Tsk." He withdrew from the kiss when she bit his bottom lip. He pressed his lower lip with his thumb while she beamed at him as if she would kill him anytime.
That gaze of Elysia annoyed Trustin and he lowered his thumb only to see a patch of blood on it. "Do not force me to kill Joseph," Trustin muttered.
Elysia knitted her brows together as she tried to understand him. "I told you not to touch me or kiss me. I do not want to be in this marriage with you anymore. I hate dominant men," she pronounced and decided to leave that house when Trustin caught her wrist.
The next second, he pulled her back and she was pinned to the wall behind her. "Till now, I am good to you, Elysia. Ask Eithan what happens when I am annoyed. Also, I warned you not to speak about Joseph in front of me." He clarified the reason for showing that dominance. He then chuckled and continued, "We have already spoken about it. You cannot leave this marriage. I will destroy your family. So, do not instigate me to do it."
Elysia's eyes turned misty to hear his statements. He was no lesser than a ruthless tyrant.
"This was the last time I kissed you. Also, it was not forced. It was to show you that you are mine," Trustin gradually moved his hands away from her arms. He turned and left the room. Elysia clenched her fists. If it was not for her family, then she would have run a long time ago.
Trustin's father saw him leaving and wondered where he was heading to. However, before he could ask him about it, he vanished from his sight.
Trustin got into his car and drove out of the mansion. He needed to cool his head off and bring his thoughts to the right place. If he had to be honest with himself, then he knew that he was possessive of Elysia. For now, the mate was the only reason for his attraction toward her. However, the earlier kiss which he gave to her was not because of his wolf wanted it.
It was him who wanted to do it. He would not admit it, but he was jealous to hear that Joseph was a better man than him in Elysia's eyes. She was his wife, no? So, she should praise him. "Why did she have to praise Joseph?" He muttered while gritting his teeth and pressed his foot on the accelerator.
However, more than that statement, the sight where Joseph was holding Elysia was making him madder. He wanted to break his hand for touching his Elysia. "I seriously have gone crazy. I keep telling myself that she is mine when I know well that she does not even like me," he murmured while driving at the full speed. Because the Hunter estate had spread in kilometers, so he did not have the fear the break the traffic rules.
He applied the brakes when he reached the famous moon lake of the estate. The place which always gave him peacefulness whenever his thoughts were disoriented.
