Elinor’s POV

I woke up when the night was coming, just as the sun was coming down, and the first thing that came to my mind was the fact that I had been having lunch with Fenrir. So I should not have been in bed, I should have been in the garden with him. I should have been by his side.

So how did I get here?

I sat up and tried to remember what had happened. My mind was foggy, if I were being honest, but bits and pieces of the day I had were coming back to me, and I laid my head against the headrest of my bed to let them come. Fenrir had organised a picnic for us in the garden, and I had been adamant.

But we ate, and he fed me! And wasn’t that something?

We had talked, not for very long, not about very much as the Emperor liked to keep his wits to himself. But we had a discussion, one that included me being all up in his face, one that had me telling him I was not scared of him.
