Chapter 13 - The Twins's Help

"My name is Vano Orazio Lycaon. From my name, I'm sure you will soon realize that before I even became a werewolf three years ago, I did have wolf blood. I am currently the main heir to the Gold Lycaon Company's industrial empire. I will guarantee the lives of all of you not only as wolves, but also humans. Whoever you are as long as you have the will and ability, join me at Gold Lycaon. We will build the place together and make sure that Lorient City will be safe from other packs of wolves." Vano spoke confidently.

All the gathered werewolves looked at each other. Until two people raised their hands as a form of their devotion to the Alpha. Two twin boys named Jasper and Javier.

"We know who he is. We also believe that he will become a reliable Alpha," said Jasper.

Slowly, the werewolf who was there also raised his hand as a sign that he was willing to join the Vano's wolf pack. Others still feel afraid and doubtful.

"Are you sure about your words? Do you know who Alpha has been bothering us here all this time? Hunt down and kill our loved ones and friends. The one who was the only reason we kept hiding until day. Joining you sounds like a suicide plot." A middle-aged man spoke up.

"I'll definitely find out soon enough. Until then you may hide, but we are strong wolves in the pack. In fact, together, we can rely on each other. I will guarantee the safety of everyone and anyone who dares to disturb him, so there will be no chance for them to see the sun tomorrow." A Vano's promise was made.

Now slowly everyone agrees and agrees to be a Gold Lycaon pack. A pack hiding behind an international company, Gold Lycaon. The gold color which will now be the symbol of the pack matches the color of Vano's fur after becoming an Alpha.

Vano returns to his campus where he realizes that Jasper and Javier are also studying at the same campus. Vano majored in business while Jasper majored in communications and Javier majored in graphic design. Vano was quite surprised when the two greeted him in the campus yard.

"A Lycaon walking alone?" Javier asked casually.

"I know who you are, but don't try to get along with me." Vano responded sarcastically.

"After our help back then?" quipped Javier.

"Yes, I thank you for that. Are you satisfied?" asked Vano sarcastically.

"You will need our help again after this. We know you need some clarity on the personality of William Arie. I scattered this flash drive and read everything you need. I'm sure tomorrow you will come to us." Jasper's voice sounded so intimidating.

Vano still looks indifferent even though he is getting interested. The guilt over Leon's death still haunts him. Not to mention the big responsibility he suddenly had to bear. Vano also has to graduate from campus so that he can immediately protect his pack in the hierarchy he has arranged. Plus of course his revenge plan to William Arie.

"So, all the perpetrators of this chaos are one and the same person. William Arie."

William Arie is not just a human being. He is a businessman from Spain. Will We Company, William Arie's company is in the top 25 of the best companies in the world. The company is engaged in the exploration of natural resources.

"He is rich and has everything. Then why bother coming to France and disturbing the wolves here?"

The next day, Vano immediately met Jasper and Javier. Dressed in a khaki suit and brown long coat with sneakers. Vano explored a side of campus that he had never visited before. Of course, his presence got the attention of almost all the students in the park.

Women stare in awe while men stare with envy. Vano does have extraordinary charm apart from his handsome face and perfect features. Of course Vano didn't care because his eyes were focused on a point where Jasper and Javier were already waiting for him with faint smiles.

"Seven minutes later than I thought." Javier looked at his watch.

"Don't be big-headed. I want to know every detail of what you know." Vano spoke firmly.

"Follow us to the house. I'll explain everything there. Two o'clock in the car park. Follow the yellow sports car." Javier left Vano just like that.

Vano was a little annoyed, but also amazed. No one ever underestimated him except the twins. Vano finally complied with the twins' wishes and went to their house after college. They went together in their respective cars towards a house.

The three of them entered and the house was completely empty. There were no parents or people on guard there. The twins said this house belonged to both of them. Specially given by their parents in the hope that the two can get along.

"So, I have complied with your wishes. Don't mince words anymore." Vano said firmly.

"William Arie had a much bigger reason for bringing him to France. Apart from that this Country had the largest population of werewolves that he could easily prey on, he was also apparently looking for someone. He is looking for the last descendant of the god Zeus. Rumor has it, he is the only threat to Arie and his plans to rule Europe. The offspring can turn a werewolf into a normal human and vice versa. There's just no clue as to who he is."

"What do werewolves have to do with the descendants of gods?" Vano looked confused.

"You have to study more, Alpha. All of this stems from an ancient legend about the origin of werewolves. The king of Arcadia who, according to Ovid's poem Metamorphosis, was turned into a wolf by Zeus in retaliation for trying to deny the god's divinity. Since then the bad relationship between the werewolves and the descendants of Zeus has continued. Especially since the William family declared themselves to be hunting down the descendants of Zeus."

"Then are there any clues or perhaps signs that could help us find that last descendant?" asked Van.

"I'm still not sure, but it's said that all descendants of God Zeus have the same birthmark on their backs. A faint image that will be perfectly formed and even glow when they are 20 years old. The age where they can finally use their power."

"In that case, okay. I think that's enough for now. Thank you both for your help."
