Chereads / The Werewolf Alpha and The Last Descendant of Zeus / Chapter 19 - Arie's Terrible Plan

Chapter 19 - Arie's Terrible Plan

"What can you report to me?" asked Arie in his magnificent office which was dominated by black and red color.

"There is a girl named Lexa who seems to be close to Valdo and also looks like Vano. We even saw Vano take the girl to her apartment earlier," said a tall man with dark glasses.

"That girl, Lexa, what does she have to do with that two werewolves?" asked Arie starting to sound interested.

"According to our informant at their company, Lexa is a new employee working on the 13th floor. She doesn't do much, just general assignments. We know she is an orphan and she lives alone in a small apartment. She just graduated from high school and is working there after graduation," said the man at length.

"It doesn't look like anything interesting, but I'm sure that's what makes it interesting. For now, just keep an eye on her, even though I'm sure Vano is just approaching the girl to prey on her like he's done before. Hm, poor girl." Smiled Arie with sharp eyes.

Arie played with the glass of wine in his hand. Occasional mysterious smile. He had prepared many things for his grand plan.

"Our equipment is ready right? Just carry out our plan," said Arie arrogantly.

"Are we going to do it? Are you sure?" asked the man.

"Yes, Albert! I'm sure!" The man's smile widened.

"Ok, Sir." The man finally withdrew.

William Arie, a tall and well-built middle-aged man with completely white hair. He had been planning the massacre for a long time. He doesn't hesitate to make werewolves in Gold Lycaon's herd hurt or even die for a safe and comfortable life. He really wanted to kill Vano and his entire pack.

Arie knew that he wouldn't be able to attack them suddenly because there might be a very big commotion that could finally reveal all of their disguises so far. Nor could he do it one by one because it would obviously make the Alpha from the opposing party suspicious. In the end, he smiled imagining the success of his current plan.

One thing solved, but he still has another problem which is finding the only descendant of Zeus left on Earth. He had found and killed too many of Zeus' descendants to know where the last of Zeus' descendants actually were. Only, he had a hint that whoever it was, he was most likely in France.

Luckily he had men who were thorough enough to find traces of Zeus' last bloodline. It is said that he was hidden by his parents before both of them died at the hands of Arie. Arie had even tried hard to find a couple he killed in France, until he narrowed down to three couples who did have children when he slaughtered them.

Arie, with the help of his pack, looks for the background of the three, especially regarding their children. Arie managed to find one boy who he managed to kill at that time after he came home from school. He also kidnapped and tortured a girl to death in an orphanage. The problem is, there is still one more daughter that he has not found until now, which is most likely also the last descendant of the god Zeus that he has been looking for all this time.

The little girl's parents already knew that they were indeed the target of William Arie. They seemed to have let the little girl go with a completely new identity to a new city. Arie couldn't even find documents or photos as if all had been destroyed by his parents.

The only evidence left behind is a photograph that was in the chimney of the couple's old home. A photo showing the neck to the chest of a girl. Wears a necklace with a pendulum in the shape of a sun with white eyes.

Arie stood up from his throne, growled and squeezed his own hand tightly. He was so worried because he had not yet found a bright spot about the Zeus's descendant. Confused how to find that figure among millions of French citizens. He didn't know how anymore. Taking a sip of his cigar, Arie decided he would come to France, Lorient City to be exact. He had to find the figure of the girl who must be 18 years old by now.

Back in the night of Lorient City, Lexa, who saw Vano's car disappear in the distance, walked to her room which was on the third floor of the apartment. The highest floor and no elevator also she has to go through it every day. Makes it difficult if she's already leaving late. Bocca had already greeted her and stood with his goofy smile in front of Lexa's room carrying a plastic bag. Immediately could guess that it was food.

"My dad brought lots of fried chicken and I came to eat it with you," Bocca smiles kindly.

"Have you been waiting here long?" asked Lexa while moving to open the door of her apartment unit.

"No, I saw you coming from my bedroom window. Hmm, who is the man who brought you earlier?" asked Bocca curiously.

Lexa walked in and then threw her bag carelessly and then sat on the only sofa inside.

"Ah, that's my boss. He seemed sorry to see me waiting for the bus alone at the bus stop. There were no buses passing by," grumbled Lexa.

"You called me to ask me to pick you up? I'm sorry, I was in the bathroom earlier. Ha ha ha." Bocca laughed with pleading eyes.

"That's okay. I'm lucky this time. Looks like starting tomorrow I really have to diligently check the man's room. I've been waiting for him for a long time and apparently he fell asleep! It's annoying isn't it?" Lexa said again with annoyance.

"Ha ha ha. Really? Hm, but do they treat you well, Lexa? Is there nothing strange about that boss of yours and his company?" asked Bocca suddenly after placing a box of fried chicken on the table.

"Everyone in town knows that this company is one of the best in France and even in the world. Yes everything there works seriously, but so far nothing out of the ordinary. What's wrong?" Lexa after trying to remember.

"Ah, it's okay. My father just left a message for you to be careful there. Do not easily trust or close to other people. If someone is acting strange, it's better to leave and return to your room," said Bocca a moment later.

"Why are you confusing me? Does your father know anything about that company?" asked Lexa already ready to gossip.

"Ha ha ha. I don't know, Lexa. Yes, maybe one day you will find out. We better eat now," Bocca said with a faint smile.
