Vano still clearly remembers the steps he took to build this Gold Lycaon Company. In the end, he inherited his mother's small company to rebuild into a large communications company. Together with Jasper and Javier and with the help of his mother, he bought the twin brothers' barn land and built it slowly. Vano has never been short of money since his mother was a successful businessman. He doesn't have to start from scratch to make all his plans come true.
Almost all of his pack could enter the company and work there. Starting from managers, supervisors, and staff. Of course they are truly competent. For those who do not, will work as ordinary employees such as cleaning service officers, security guards, office boys or office girls, drivers, gardeners, and so on.
Of course, because over time the numbers could no longer cope with the wider company's performance, he recruited humans as well to become part of the Gold Lycaon Company. Of course, he made sure the safety of their men though in the end most of them turned into other werewolves due to his strong herd instinct to kill every full moon.
Likewise with Vano who, after becoming Alpha, could no longer hold back his desire to eat human. He still remembers the first time he was furious at an employee for embezzling company money when the company was just starting out. Instead of taking him to the police, he preyed on him and somehow his brother, Valdo caught him.
Valdo, who was 14 years old at the time, actually came to deliver a document he had left behind because of his mother's orders. He went to his brother's company in the middle of the night accompanied by a driver.
"Vano?" Of course Valdo was surprised when he arrived at his brother's room.
With a bloodied face and an incredibly hideous shape, Valdo was apparently still able to recognize his older brother from the pants that were still attached to his legs.
"Valdo?" The brother so reflexively asked back.
"What are you doing here?" Valdo couldn't hide his surprise, but his figure couldn't return to the way it was.
Valdo just shook his head and wanted to run from there. Dark eyes, Vano quickly grabbed it with long and sharp nails that quickly hurt his upper arm. Reflex bit his shoulder when his sister was already in his hand. Valdo's scream made him realize and finally let go. His brother fainted and there Vano waited until morning.
Treating his brother's wounds and making sure the young man doesn't die at his hands. In the morning when the sun was shining again, Valdo slowly came to his senses. The first things he noticed were the windows of the room that gave off a bright light and the well-dressed Vano. On reflex, the man sat up and backed away in fear. He still clearly remembered what happened last night.
"Vano, what I saw last night..." Still hesitated to continue his speech.
"I will tell you everything. Try to understand and accept it." Vano started the conversation.
Word by word and sentence by sentence, Vano couldn't believe it. The more his brother talked, the more Valdo felt angry, disappointed, afraid, and other bad feelings. How could he not know that his brother had been a werewolf all along and how he had the heart to turn him into one of them. To him, there was nothing right about preying on humans no matter what the circumstances. Not to mention the fact that he had wolf blood even before he actually turned into a wolf now.
"Why didn't you tell me before? Why did you have to turn me into such a terrible creature?" Vano couldn't believe he was about to cry.
"Hear! This is all our destiny. There must be a reason we became werewolves like this. Just think on the bright side. We can help many humans if necessary with our strength!" said Vano trying to convince.
"Impossible! You just hurt me last night! You become a different person while being transformed into that being! I can see hatred and anger! You're not yourself! How will you protect others! And he's the one you killed last night!" said Vano still emotional.
"He's guilty, Valdo! He cost the company huge! That's why I did it!" Vano reassured and his brother shook his head.
"Not! There's always a better way to judge someone right? Not killing him like that!" Valdo still insisted.
"Vano, I know it's too difficult to accept this fact right now, but I'm sure you will understand sooner or later!" said Vano.
From that moment everything changed. Vano and Valdo's relationship, which had been going well so far, was finally destroyed. Valdo felt that Vano had broken the trust they had built so far. Meanwhile, Valdo felt that there was nothing wrong with turning into a werewolf. He never apologized because he never felt guilty either.
From that moment on, their mother couldn't help but stare at her son's strained relationship. He thought at first it was because of the turmoil of young souls and they would make up on their own. Who would have thought, four years passed, the longer the two became more and more strangers. As a mother, she can only wish the best for her children.
"You guys are brothers, why don't you two get along?" asked the mother one evening while they were at the dinner table.
…
"If it weren't for force, you would never want to sit together at the dinner table even on a weekend like this!" said the mother named Martha.
…
"Why are you silent? I'm waiting for an answer!" said Martha again.
…
Of course it's hard for both of them to tell the truth.
"Our father, who exactly is he, Mom?" Valdo asked too at last.
"Why ask that all of a sudden? You know him right? He was a sailor who drowned on his voyage. I've already told you about it and even you can always see the photo in my room," said Mrs. Martha explaining.
"Yes yes I know about that, ma'am. I mean who exactly is he? Lycaon, our last name. Does it have any meaning in itself?" asked Valdo, still trying to rebuke.
The mother knew where this conversation was going.
"Did you hear something?" asked Mrs. Martha again.
"Please just tell us everything, Mom." Valdo's voice sounded pleading.
"I'm sorry kids, but I don't even know where to start. All of this is too complicated, too difficult for common sense to accept," said Mrs. Martha as if opening a whole old story.
