Synopsis
Stare into the Abyss and the Abyss will stare back at you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The family of Anker was a noble family with prominently Water affinity users, alas not all who hailed from this family had a Water affinity. Those who did not were often ostracized from the family and are usually kicked out once they come of age or are killed. August Anker was one example of the latter, at first his family planned to kick him out. However, after finding out about his close friendship with his sister, the family heir, they decided he was better off dead. Thankfully their attempts to kill him, which usually involved throwing him into a deep pit and hoping he died of starvation, failed. Being fed up with the boy the family head decides to kill the boy himself, only to find his room empty with the window open. The boy had run away. He ran through the forest in desperation trying to increase the distance between his old home and him. Tonight was a gloomy night, the only thing keeping it from being worst was the lack of rain. after running until his legs gave out the boy lost consciousness, or at least he thought he did. A strange holographic square appeared before him. Chapter 1 - A Confusing Start

Time: Mid-Night
Location: Unknown

In a forest lay a naked body, the body of a teenage boy. The boy had black hair and abnormal purple eyes. He stared at the sky with a confused gaze, almost like he wasn't really staring at the sky but at something else.

Through his eyes, one could see two pitch black squares. Each had writing that one would be able to understand even if they knew no language.

Reaching his hand out to the square on the left the boy pressed on-

Mindlessly the boy pressed the [x5 Spins] option.

5 wheels poofed into existence as they spun through millions of option each.

"What?"

Breaking out of his stupor he got up and examined himself.

"Who? Why?"

He spoke at last, his voice sounded… new? Like a voice that had yet to be used? It had an odd effect on all who listened, thankfully that effect was limited to nearby insects.

"Name… what's my name?"

Looking around for someone else the boy stood up and wandered around.

As he walked about he suddenly stopped as another square popped up in front of him.

< Would you like to undergo a tutorial? >

He stood staring for a second then his hand rose towards the option.

"Some 'Tutorial' that was huh."

The boy looked around his surroundings and just as he was going to step in one direction he spotted a ladybug on the ground roughly 1 meter away.

"I just have to kill a living being right?"

The boy gave a devilish smile as he released a strange aura from his very being. The aura spread throughout the surrounding area and all the insects that felt it froze. This unfortunately included the ladybug the boy had seen. As he approached the ladybug his smile grew bigger and once he arrived he raised his foot and squashed it with his foot.

< Killed a Lady Bug >

The boy's smile instantly disappeared and in its place replaced a confused expression.

'Why was I so mad just now? No rather what was that?'

He stared at his profile for a second before ignoring it, this was not crucial at the moment his survival was.

–inventory–
>basic survival knowledge handbook
>A sweet candy
>Random F rank skill token

As he walked the boy took out the survival knowledge handbook. Reading through the first few chapters about shelter he returned the book to his inventory and got to finding shelter.

He walked for what seemed like an endless infinity and eventually arrived at a more mountainous region. At this point, it was no longer night but instead the middle of the day.

The boy was sweating from every crevice of his being and now that he found some mountains he rejoiced.

His plan was to find a cave instead of making a shelter, easy right? Wrong!

It would take 6 hours to actually find a suitable empty cave. But when he did he collapsed on the floor.

His stomach ached and demanded food, alas shelter took priority.

Thankfully now he had shelter so he could look for food, but first!

–Skills–
>Eat - Rank F

Looking at the series of notifications the boy smiled, this was just what he needed.

Hungrily crawling his way towards the exit of the cave where some plants grew, the boy grabbed several handfuls of the plants and started eating.

2 hours of eating later he felt much better.

Though he didn't gain much energy from just plants it was enough for him to hunt something.

Sitting down he started reading again this time chapter 2-3.

After finishing reading the guide the boy got up and headed into the trees.

It wouldn't take long before he came into contact with an animal in this case the animal was, a bear.

The bear growled and ran in his direction, panicking the boy turned to run only to feel immense pain on his back.

And then… nothing.

The world fades to black and the brain shuts off.
