It wouldn't take a genius to realize the goblin was doomed to die. The goblin was no exception to this, he knew his death was now imminent.
The goblin came to a slow as he turned around and brandished his rusty dagger. He may die but he'd die a courageous death not a coward's death.
Unfortunately at this very moment the young man was simply too powerful, one swing of his sword and the goblins' shocked head sent flying.
His body fell limp and blood gushed out of his open neck wound. It was definitely dead, and worst of all he didn't receive a courageous death rather his death was pathetic.
The boy exhaled a large breath in exhaustion, well what did he expect? After what he had been doing for the past day anyone would've long since died of exhaustion.
Yet here he was only tired, though I guess "tired" would be a major understatement.
The boy sat down as he reflected on the last 24 hours of his life.

When the ot first entered the dungeon he was greeted with 45 minutes straight of nothing but stair. Stairs going further and further, then when he came to the bottom of those accursed stairs he came upon a goblin village.
The village was full of at least 100 goblins and all of those goblins attacked him instantly.
It would be a rough battle but he would survive.

He only had 3 health points left, thankfully leveling up wasn't the only plus to fighting 100 goblins.
He had also gained some mastery over hand-to-hand combat. Although he was still bad at it, the boy felt fighting against the wolf now would result in a longer fight. He would still lose but he'd last longer.
After Killing all the goblins and exploring some he came upon a large shaft, he could only assume led to the rest of the cave.
And his assumptions would be correct he arrived at another village with 100 goblins by now his HP had recovered to 18.
The goblins just like the last village swarmed towards the boy and just like the last died at his hands.

He had managed to lost less HP this time.
The boy would follow this simple cycle, over and over and over again.
Every once and a while instead of a shaft there would be some stairs but other then those the cycle was unchanging.

Unlike his first village this time he had managed to not get hit even once, and just then.
< New skill unlocked: Hand-to-hand Combat Mastery(intermediate) >
'Only intermediate?!?'
The boy was flabbergasted, for the past day he had done nothing but fight with his bear hands and yet his mastery over hand-to-hand combat was only at intermediate?
'i suppose these goblins are very weak'
~sigh~
'I can train my hand-to-hand combat mastery later I should learn to Wield a weapon for the Time being.
Picking up a rusty goblins sword he swung it around loosely. The cut through the air with difficulty, the sword felt like it could fall apart at a moments notice.
'good enough I guess'
With that said the boy continued and went forward towards the next goblin village.
This time however the stairs were not ordinaryly long, unlike the usual 1-3 minute stairs the boy had been going down the stairs for 10 minutes.
It was then he got flashbacks to the stairs at the beginning of the dungeon.
Long cold stairs… how boring.
Another 35 or so minutes sent by before he arrived at another village, the one however had some red goblins.
The red goblins exhuded a stronger aura then the green goblins making it clear why the red goblins looked more well built then the green.
They looked better fed and had better clothing and armour on. Thankfully there were only 25-30 or so red goblins so defeating this village though hard would not be impossible.
Due to the boys lack of training, or rather lack of memories. He had no idea of any plan, all he did was jump straight at the first goblin he saw.
This goblin by chance being a red one. The goblin, as expected was much stronger then the ordinary green. Because of this the boy failed to kill it before it screeched and drew the attention of the surrounding goblins.
Soon enough the boy had killed the red goblin, unfortunately he was now surounded by 4 more red goblins and about 16 green.
Just like that cue the massive fight, Killing one goblin would lead to another 5 coming to fight eventually the whole village was fighting.
The green goblins were killed quickly but the red proved to be difficult to deal with. The situation was only worsened when the red goblins began to gang up on the boy.
1-2 hours later the boy could be seen laying on a mountain of red and green goblins corpses. His clothes and skin were smeared with red blood and he looked so beaten that if not for the slowing rising and falling chest one would assume the boy dead.

The boy scoffed unworldly
'Another useless upgrade token? At least I also get a weapon'
Brushing off the Skill Upgrade Token the boy focused on the weapon which would be of higher quality than the rusty sword he had in his hand.
