Chapter 51 - Chapter 50: General Ahmed's Grandson

"He's on his way dad. Let's hope he doesn't act rashly." Monica said with a pat to Mr Mitchell's shoulder before going over to Sam who was by the hospital bed.

'sigh'

"Mr Mitchell, we got news. Chris is heading to the airport." The policeman said to Mr Mitchell.

"Fine. Get him back at all costs."

"Right away sir."

Monica and Bella arrived in country M after 12 noon and they rushed over to the hospital which Max told them about during the briefing. Marco left them immediately the plane landed so they were pretty grateful he didn't have to witness the drama their family was involved in.

The young boy who Andrew knocked down, was the only grandson of general Ahmed whose power could be considered only second to the Mitchell's in country M. He was a man of high prestige and a notable general from the army before he retired.

He had three sons and a daughter and his daughter, Miss Abigail, was betrothed to be married to Marco Aari so they were a pair no one would love to mess with.

The Aari family, although has more influence in country F, doesn't stop their dominance in other countries and this situation only made matters worse as general Ahmed's grandson was said to never walk again.

The Aari is a very large and mysterious organization everyone thinks twice of before offending. They have several flourishing companies scattered around the country and have been existing for centuries to come. To the public, the Aari was made up of Marco, his parents and his grandfather but no one knows the exact foundation holding this mysterious family. They can only go with how the Aari's want the world to see them.

General Ahmed on the other hand, although a retired general, he still has a level of influence that can rival the Mitchell's. His eldest son, Adam, owns the second largest organisation in country M and his connections are the largest in all of the continent so he was a respected and somewhat feared man.

Not to mention his younger brother James, a world renowned boxer and Carl who is the youngest and most outstanding actor both national and international. One can only gape at this collection of power.

The deadliest of combination which even Mr Mitchell feared as the top guy in country M just happens to be the party his so-called son offended.

He had been on non stop phone calls as early as 2 in the morning, and up till now, no words have been spoken from the other party.

Immediately he received Monica's phone call, he knew she was the key to getting through to Chris as they both had an unusual but strong relationship in the house. He wasn't too surprised when Chris picked up Monica's call as he knew Monica was the only one who could get to him.

But now, he had to make matters worse by trying to leave the country and he could only mourn silently thinking of the plots that sly general might be coming up with.

' He finally decided to show up.' Mr Mitchell said under his breath.

"General..."

"Mr Mitchell... What a way to call me out huh..." General Ahmed said with a smirk..

"It's definitely hard to see the general these days but the company only makes it harder." Mr Mitchell said with a smile.

"This is quite the encounter huh... I never knew you preferred girls to boys."

"But looking at how wonderful your son has performed I can clearly understand why." General Ahmed said as he sat down.

"I'm truly sorry this happened general... Looks like I couldn't really control my goats." Mr Mitchell sighed.

"It's too late for sorries now don't you think. The damage had already been done so we can only deal with the aftermath." General Ahmed said with heavy breath.

"But general--"

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. I'm sorry our relationship had to turn out this way Mr Mitchell." He said with sadness before he entered the ward.

Silas, his grandson was lying on the bed with bandages on both of his legs and also his head. Monica and Sam sat close to him with a sad expression as they observed the young boy breath in and out.

"Silas..." General Ahmed called out in a very light voice. The two people seated by the bed turned towards the door and when they saw it was the general, they both excused themselves.

General Ahmed has let loose his emotions as he broke down before the boy. This was his first grandson. He loved Silas so much that he once booked the whole of Country S capital for his birthday just because he loved the view there.

He has spoiled this kid so much but he never forgets to train him for the responsibilities that awaited him in the future.

General Ahmed was already in his 70's and his illness was catching up to him. He was told to stay in bed after his illness was triggered some weeks ago but due to this incident, he rushed over from the capitals just to see this grandson of his. No one knows how bad his condition has gotten after his flight.

But nevertheless, he is here now. And he wouldn't let that bastard of a boy named Chris get away with this, not after he has crippled his grandson.

Time passed by quickly and before long, the police arrived with Chris and Andrew.

"Of course... Birds of the same feather will always fly together." Mr Mitchell trembled in anger at the sight of the red haired boy behind Chris. These two were the inseparable jerks who he wished had never crossed his path this lifetime. One was his son and the other was his late friend's son.

One of his closest friends died in an ambush a few years ago and he entrusted Andrew to him. Andrew and Chris relationship became even stronger after that incident and it seems like the demon that possessed his son also possessed his buddy.

Before anyone could react, James who came in some moments earlier rushed forward and threw a deadly punch at Chris.

Chris wasn't expecting anything like that so he was taken unaware as he flew backward colliding with the wall.
