Alexis tried looking at some of the symbols on her armor through a mirror she conjured with water.
The symbols, or runes? glowed in a dim golden light because Alexis suppressed her aura too much for the armor to possibly absorb the energy that it radiated.
Alexis thought the whole time that the armor was made for male angels. But apparently this whole time the armor was made for female angels that would wear it in a tight fit like manner.
Now it made perfectly sense for her that the chest area was kind of loose.
And the realization that it was meant for breast infuriated Alexis, her sister Elly had breasts, but hers were not very large. She was not entirely flat, but they didn't stand out when compared to others.
And Alexis had copied her in every way…
In a bad mood, Alexis made her way through the streets of the city she was in.
The first humanoid devil she had killed was the reconnaissance for the city.
But she was met with little to no danger as she made her way deeper and deeper into the city.
It was if the city used to be a human one, but the devils conquered it and used little to no space in the normal buildings.
The only lit building in the entire city was probably the mansion of the city lord.
It was a fairly large manor that had more than one building and even some summer furnishings outside in a little garden.
The manor looked beautiful wouldn't it have been for a large hole that had been made in the front gate.
The devils didn't seem to care too much about the structural integrity of the built so even while they now technically lived in the manor, they did not repair the front gate.
Alexis wandered unhindered through the front gate and entered a large hall which led to the various wings the building was made of.
The north wing was the one where she saw light from outside, so Alexis trotted through the hall and found a little a devil in the form of a little child cowering in the corner.
This was a perfect trap for female templar knights that entered the building.
No nun or mother could resist a crying child.
Sadistically the devils seemed to understand this concept and made use of it in such a devilish manner.
"What happened here little one? Can I help you?"
If the devils could use underhand tactics, why couldn't Alexis do the same thing?
She made her way to the little devil and stretched her hand out and patted the head of the thing.
"Now now… let sister Alexis cleanse you of your filthy body."
She activated her aura of purity while touching the child directly and isolated her from the outside world by just eating any sound that was made by the child.
All that could be seen from the outside was a black cocoon that stretched out from Alexis and when it went away, the child was gone.
It didn't survive the aura at all as it originated in its own body.
The child wanted to play the long game and first gain some trust, but instead it was found out and killed in a few seconds by a holy aura.
Before it could even realize what was happening, it already died.
But because Alexis did a thorough job, not even the soul that realized its own death was let go.
The black cocoon was mainly there so that the soul could not escape.
A second later, even the soul dissipated and became nourishment for Alexis.
She however, felt no remorse for killing the child.
Instinctively she felt that this devil had killed at least a hundred humans and took over the body of a child while disguising as it.
Such disgusting acts were punishable by her moral logic and should receive the death sentence.

Alexis killed one devil after the other. She could not proceed silently as an alarm was let loose that alerted the devils inside.
Many came rushing to her, but she clubbed them to death with a wooden club that was at least over two times her size.
The devils thought that numbers would work against her, but that did not seem to be the case at all.
She just side stepped their every attack and followed it up with a swing of the club.
This simple one two combo worked on over 10 devils before they switched to long range attacks and tried sniping her from afar.
A few arrows flew directly towards Alexis as she swung down her club to deflect them and charge into a sprint to the devils.
Long range devils were more nimble than the brutes that attacked Alexis before, but even they could not outrun her.
Alexis did not know why, but her physical strength was frightening even to the enemies.
The soul avatar that was created by the system surely was bugged out, but that didn't explain the huge difference to before.
At some point, just to try it out, Alexis morphed back into her now female wolf form and pounced between the devils while ripping their throats open.
Her biting strength was enormous even for her standards, but what surprised her the most, was that her speed increased as well.
Against the goblins and in the forest she felt quite fast in this form, but now she was literally zooming through hordes of devils just one hitting them.
As Alexis had enough and only some high ranking devils were left, she tried something that was rather risky.
She tried turning her black hole ability into something offensive.
The first time she absorbed a forest, a whole dungeon was exterminated. But that just because she sucked all of the mana out of the forest and killed everything that even closely entered her event horizon.
Now she tried something that her mother had told her.
To just extend the range that she was purifying into pure essence.
That was something that sooner or later would have crossed Alexis's mind anyway, but to try it out now was crucial to her future path.
If this ability could be used offensively, Alexis could just swoop into enemy territory, absorb a good portion of the enemies forces, and then fly away as if nothing happened.
To encounter something like this as a tactician was truly scary.
Just imagining it made Alexis shiver. Good that it was her own ability and not someone else's.
Alexis transformed into her soul state, which confused the enemy devils greatly as she just vanished somehow, and with great force, a dome of pure blackness expanded too fast for the devils to escape from.
The five high ranking devils created a circular formation because they thought that the woman had just used a domain skill.
Those were pesky and hated among the devils because they could weaken them greatly.
If they were not careful, the woman could appear from anywhere and just smash them with the obscenely large weapon she had.
Whoever gave that woman the club knew what he did.
Even among the devils, no woman had such great strength.
The expression on the devils faces changed from careful to fearful in an instance as they realized that a holy aura emanated from the center of the dome.
The woman had the holy attribute the entire time? Why didn't she show it before?
Fearing for their lives at this point, the devils tried moving out of the dome.
Leaving was their only option to survive.
What surprised them however was that they moved, but at the same time didn't seem to move a centimeter from where they were standing.
The holy aura that was slowly increasing in size came to them at a gradual pace.
Not slow, but also not too fast to give them any hope of surviving, the aura spread through the dome.
At some point the devils broke formation just to be running on the same spot before realizing what they were doing.
In a desperate attempt, one of the devils began a long chant that conjured a large fireball.
The devil threw that fireball directly into the center of the dome.
It exploded and the devil felt joy as it seemed to work.
That joy only lasted for a moment though, because the fireball got absorbed by the hold aura and turned into white particles that got sucked to the center.
Arriving at the center, the white particles just vanished into a single spot.
There was nothing they could do.
Only despair awaited them for what was about to come.
One of them began to laugh like crazy when he found out that they could move.
But not away from the dome, but inside of it.
It was as if the woman was mocking them to come to their own death.
They did not want to acknowledge that this woman had beat them.
Even if they did not see a way out of this trap, they did not want give the woman a feeling of victory.
The leader of the devils began something bold.
He realized that the wisps were not just vanishing in the center, they were actually teleported away.
This center was the origin of their fear but also an exit to this hellhole that was a dome of death.
The leader mobilized half of his own mana to create a cloud around him and rushed through the holy aura.
He believed that although the aura was melting the mana fast into essence, it wasn't that fast when it came to that.
That was likely the reason the fireball was allowed to explode against the aura and why it did not instantly got devoured.
His plan seemed to work for a meter or so, but the mana he clouded himself in got eaten fast than he was expecting.
Had he put of a shield of fire, the holy aura would have a harder time against it, but the devil was so dumb that he just put out his pure mana without giving it some kind of purpose.
That way, the aura could easily gnaw away at the mana and absorb it faster.
Still, the devil had put out enough mana that he was able to pass through the center.
He just had to mobilize the rest of his mana to not get eaten by the aura.
Now, manaless but alive, the devil appeared in the soul realm of Alexis. What he though of as an exit was something entirely different taken from his wildest imagination.
Alexis's soul realm changed drastically after she became a God.
Not only was the entire realm filled to the brim with her divine aura, but her entire soul realm also resembled a black hole.
Her core was floating in the center of the realm and spun around at a gradual pace.
The spin corresponded with the total amount of mana Alexis held.
With more mana the spin would need to be faster so that the centrifugal force pushed the mana in shape.
But that was also the case before her ascension. Now, her core itself represented a black hole that sucked everything into itself.
The mana Alexis could use was just pushed outside of the event horizon of her core and held in place by the core and the centrifugal force.
The leader that made his way into this realm was more frightened than ever.
For him, he entered some kind of holy dimension that could easily be heaven itself.
Everything was white excluding a big spinning white spere that sometimes shot out a black wave.
This was the only impurity he could find so he foolishly believed this to be an exit again.
Alexis commended his stupidity but allowed him to come closer.
He was out of mana and could not do any harm anymore.
But she wanted to test what would happen if something entered her realm and came close to her.
