Chapter 7 - Alicia The Orphan

"WAKE UP MICHAEL!!!"

(Who the hell is calling my name?) thought Michael as he looked at the door anticipating the intruder on the other side.

Suddenly a young blonde haired, beautiful girl around twelve years old forcefully enters his medical room. She's wearing old dingy clothes, a worn out white shirt top with faded blue jeans. Her most striking figure to date is her purplish, blue, and green eyes.

"Why in the world are you still laying there? How long does it take you to self awaken you idiot?" yelled the young woman in an abrupt manner.

"Um, excuse me miss but who are you and how do you know me or the fact that I awakened?"

"Wait, are you even more stupid than before you awakened? I'm Alicia your only friend in the world, how could you forget me, or are you playing games to annoy me? Miss Natalie was informed back at the orphanage about you awakening and needing an extended stay in the hospital so we've been waiting for you to wake up for four weeks already."

(Human, do you know the difference between reincarnating and transmigrating?) Uriel seemed amused at the current conversation between Michael and Alicia and decided to help him out.

(Why are you in my head?! Ask permission next time before ever doing this, and no I don't know the difference.) His whole body shook, but after so many surprises he was able to calm down quickly this time.

(The difference between the two, reincarnating is being born again, hopefully with your memories intact. Transmigrating is taking over the body of another human who has recently died, and you my dumb human has transmigrated. muwhahahahaa. I'm sure I don't have to explain the reason that transmigrating is the less preferred option, besides the fact that your former host's situation is now your situation. Reincarnators always get a head start while transmigartors are basically playing the lottery with their chances at migrating to a talented or well off host being nil at best.)

(Wait, so I'm inhabiting a dad man's body?!?)

(The former host died when your talents self-awakened. You felt that pain first hand right?)

(What the f--)

"Michael stop ignoring me and sitting there looking like a fool. We need to get out of here before the hospital charges you for your stay, the orphanage wont even try to pay for thishospital trip even if you have awakened." said Alicia who looked at Michael with an aggressive tone

"Wait, we aren't paying for my visit?"

"NO, the government paid the bill for your visit only because you became a genius who self-awakened. They wont continue to be so generous as to do this and not ask for anything in the future so lets leave now!"

Michael was looking at Alicia still processing the information. He's not accustomed to this world and moving without knowing the facts doesn't sit right with him.

"Do you really have amnesia? We cant afford to sit here and wait for you to figure it out Mikey." Alicia was ready to throw a tantrum and yank Michael out of the hospital room.

(She's right, you need to move. I'll leave with you, and explain the world layout along the way so don't worry about not having any information. My sole purpose here is to assist you along the way so while I will may make fun of you, my job is still to help you.) Uriel decided that she needs to get serious, she wanted Michael to feel easier knowing she's there.

Deciding to trust his familiar, Michael gives in to her advice.

"Ok, lets go Alicia, I need your help to guide me back to the orphanage." Michael gets up without remembering that he's currently naked under his hospital gown.

"PUT ON SOME CLOTHES FIRST BEFORE YOU MOVE AROUND YOU FREAK!" yelled Alicia as she turned around to walk out the door before slamming it loudly.

(Hahahhahaaaa) Uriel rolls around on the window's edge laughing uncontrollably nearly falling off several times.

(Please act like a proper Angel Uriel.) that's all he could say to try and save himself some dignity before looking around and finally seeing his clothes laying in the corner. Michael cant believe the amount of embarrassment he's felt since the moment he died.
