The whole breakfast fiasco was enough entertainment for Sam, but right now she needed to adjust her schedule. She needed to visit her mother in the hospital, seeing that it was almost noon, and also be back in time for Desmond's supposed date with her by 5 pm.
There wasn't a need for a change of clothes, so she got into the car that Desmond assigned for her, and it turned out that her driver was Mickie. Whatever made him change his mind about going to see his mother, she was grateful for it.
"Mickie! I thought you were fired because I haven't seen you since that day!" Sam screamed in the car, as she was the only passenger in it.
"Oh yeah, I thought I was going to get fired, but it turns out that nothing happened, although Terry and Gorge didn't stop yapping about it," Mickie said excitedly.
"I really apologize for that," Sam said in a whisper.
