Getting to meet the doctor that attended to Sam's mother the night that she was brought to the hospital wasn't a hard nut to crack. All the nurse in attendance had to do was check to see who the doctor on duty that night was. The attending doctor was paged and he asked to see Sam and Desmond in his office.
"Doctor, I think that you remember me. My name is Samantha Denis," Sam said before introducing Desmond to him. "And this is my husband, Desmond."
"Mr. Desmond, Miss Samantha, it's a pleasure to meet you both again. "I was informed that one of you came to visit the patient yesterday," the doctor spoke softly while looking at both of them.
"I did," Sam let out, curtly.
"Well, doctor, we'd like to know how much her medical expenses will cost." Desmond wasn't in the mood for any unrelated discussions. He had other things to do outside of being in the hospital.
