"Really, sir?" Baron's voice boomed through the speakers of the expensive brand-new phone that he had just gotten after his old phone was hit mistakenly by Stephanie, resulting in the screen cracking. He hated his phone being that way and ended up getting another one.
"Yes, Baron, really!" In his jest, Desmond continued. He noticed that Sam was about to scream her lungs into the phone, but he used the palm of his left hand to cover her mouth, sealing it shut.
"But if that were so, I could have been aware of such entanglement. Did you forget about the contract, sir?" Baron said every word with cautiousness. Had his boss gone ahead and had a sexual relationship with that insane child? When did this happen and why wasn't he aware of it? To even get her pregnant?
Adjusting his tall frame that leaned on the door to the mansion's kitchen, where he watched his wife arrange the meal that Desmond had asked for, he stood up straight to carefully analyze the situation.
