Silence enveloped the room as Joseph stared out with a blank expression at everyone in the room. Without saying a word he began to walk towards the stairs. "Hey wait, you're new we need to-" Before Ciera could finish trying to tell Joseph come here so she could explain the rules, Joseph cut in. "I know." Was all he said as he disappeared up the stairs and went up to his room.
"What's that guys problem?" Ciera said grumpily. "He's just like that, it's nothing you did." Fae said with an awkward tone. "Do you have your classes number nine?" Ciera said as she began to walk towards a lounge couch. "I do, and can you not call me number nine? I have a name you know." Ciera chuckled as Fae said that and just sat down in her chair.
Fae walked up the flight of steps, until he made it to a giant door with a nine written in dark red written over it. He opened the door and was overwhelmed with the sheer size of his room, or rather his entire floor. There was a gym, albeit small it definitely had most things he'd need, a huge bedroom with a king sized bed that seemed almost small inside of the giant room, a giant kitchen and a pantry full of snacks and ingredients. Fae took a cookie from the pantry into his mouth as he continued to explore the room. He was absolutely overwhelmed at the size of it, he felt like this wasn't some huge room, but instead a giant house.
'If this is room number nine, just how big must room number one truly be?' Fae thought to himself, but he knew if even Aluna was number four, he was very far off from number one. Fae sat and began to circulate his bloodline energy and quickly noticed a difference, the bloodline energy in this room was thicker than the usual energy, it made for even faster circulation. Fae felt that he was progressing at least twice as fast in here as he was outside, he decided to spend the rest of the night doing this.

Fae's eyes opened with a golden gleam as all the energy flew into his body, he had ranked up once again. 'Human rank 6' Fae thought with a smirk. "Stats" Fae said with excitement, bringing up his stat window.
{Stats}
Strength: 45
Agility: 60
Intelligence: 40
Health: 40
Mind: 35
Fae wore a large smile as he stared at his stats, he may have only been Human rank 6, but he was a lot closer to the strength of a Human rank 9; Fae didn't know it yet, but his speed had already crossed the threshold making him about as fast as a Spirit rank 1.
As the sun gleamed through Fae's window, he realized he would soon be late to the first day of classes. Fae rushed into the rooms closet. "Oh wait I didn't bring any clothes." Fae said to himself finding it idiotic he had even checked the closet, but soon he realized the closet was filled with an assortment of the schools uniform, perfectly in his size. Fae didn't have time to ask questions as he ran out of the room dashing down the steps in his new clothes, a tight black short sleeve collared shirt with the schools 'L' Crest carved onto the right chest area, and black jeans.
In Fae's rush he had slipped down the stairs and almost crashed into a man standing at the bottom of the steps, but instead of falling into him Fae suddenly hit the ground as the man speedily moved out of the way. "Look where you're going dude." The man said looking down at Fae, as Fae stood up he finally got a good look at the guy. He was only slightly shorter, than Fae standing at about 6'2, his dark skin was in perfect contrast with the white academy uniform he wore. His hair worn out in an afro, only slightly matted down by the headphones he wore.
Fae noticed that he didn't see this guy yesterday, meaning he had to be in the top three, as those were the only people he hadn't met. "Sorry about that I was in a rush." Fae said awkwardly, watching as the man began to leave the house without a word. "My name's Effy, what's yours?" Fae scrambled to make a good impression as he didn't want issues with the top three. At first it seemed as if the man wouldn't answer as he opened the door and walked out, but as the door was closing Fae saw him look back with a smile. "The name's Brandon, good luck on your first day."
Fae smiled at his display but immediately began to run max speed towards his homeroom class.
"And let the first day commence." A teacher said as the door to her room closed and she turned to face her class. As soon as the door closed a knock was heard. The teacher wore a slightly annoyed face for a moment before she walked towards the door and opened it. "I'm sorry I was late" Fae said as he rushed into the room. He looked up into the seats looking for an open seat, he saw a few familiar faces the most noticeable being Ling Xao who looked at him with a smile.
Fae went to sit beside Ling Xao and class resumed. The teacher began to explain how classes and the structuring of the academy was going to be.
Every day students would have classes teaching them lessons about bloodlines, Mythics, and the history of the world. On top of these classes twice a week students have practical classes that help them further develop their abilities and gain more experience using them in tough spots. The school had a state of the art dining hall with all kinds of foods from all over the world, but only the most basic foods were offered free of charge. There were different training facilities and gyms for students to work on their physical body and fighting ability. There was even different places called "Bloodline Spas" with an increased concentration of bloodline energy for students to train, similar to the effect the rooms of the top ten students had but on a lower scale.
Fae had dozed off during the teachers speech and was woken up when Ling Xao tapped him telling him it was time to go. As Fae opened his eyes he looked out the window to see a crow staring back at him that quickly flew off. As Fae stood up with Ling Xao to leave he began to think. 'Did that crow have red eyes?'

The crow shot off towards the outskirts of Levings. Reaching a shack near the gates the crow flew in through a broken window and slowly began to morph into the shape of a human. He walked up to the wall of the building and began to do a very specific knock sequence. At first nothing happened but suddenly the ground opened up causing the crow man to fall into it.
Eventually he landed in what seemed to be a giant cavern as he took a few steps forward and bowed down. A few feet in front of him sitting atop a throne covered in darkness a man sat uncaringly looking down at him. The man had jet black hair and eyes entirely black with no trace of white. "I assume the mission was successful?" The man on the throne spoke with a deep tone, the cavern shaking a little as if reacting to the power of his voice.
The man that was previously a crow bowed his head even lower as he began to speak. "I'm sorry sir, the boy lives, he's even joined the academy as a member of the top ten." "WHAT!" The man on the throne shouted, the entire cavern shaking under the weight of his anger. "How did this happen?" He asked calming down a bit and allowing the man on his knees to speak. "I did everything you asked Mr. Black, I made sure the bandits attacked him in the alley, I even infected Joseph with our new prototype worms to make sure his bloodline failed and his attack power increased. The boy was simply stronger than he seemed, he was able to face all the challenges and prevail."
"Well than I guess you did all that you could." "Yes I did sir thank you for understanding." The crow-man said happy that Mr. Black had understood that he tried his best. His eyes opened wide in surprise as his vision flipped upside down, signifying the rolling of his head. Suddenly Mr. Black dashed towards his decapitated head and slammed his foot down crushing it. "But if that's all you can do.... than I have no need for you." Mr. Black began to walk back towards his throne speaking to someone in the shadows. "You know what you must do, right Sark?" Mr. Black faced the outline of a man walking out of the shadows. "Yes sir I understand!" Sark said as he left to the surface, planning to finish the mission the crow-man had started.
Mr. Black sat back on his throne, his bored expression returning. He stared at the decapitated body in front of him and smirked as he spoke.
"Don't kill the messenger my ass."
