A man with black hair and blue eyes sits on a chair in the penthouse of a five-star hotel in London. He was six foot and two inches. As he fiddled with his phone, his arms rested on the table in front of him.
"Where even is this boy?" The man said luooking at the numerous unanswered calls he's made to his son, who should have arrived a long time ago. He had decided not to accompany his driver for some reason.
It happened a few times, but he was usually holme by three if that was the case. The boy's school wasn't too far away from his hotel. He knew it was a bad idea not to tell Raven about his mother's visit.
He also knew sending Rachel with Raven's driver to his school would be a bad idea as well, but that was his ex-wife's idea so he wasn't going to blame himself for that one. He could only hope that tonight's dinner isn't a total flop.
A woman with long black hair and green eyes entered the dining room, followed by Raven's sister, Rachel.
"Where is Raven, Theo?"
"I'm not sure." Turning away from them, Theodore said. He didn't like his ex very much, but he didn't act like it in front of a child. Even though Rachel wasn't his, he treated her as if she were.
Rachel and Theodore got along surprisingly well. They would bond over a variety of topics, one of which is their shared love of food. Rachel would occasionally pay Theodore a visit while Raven was being dragged around by his friends.
"How come you have no idea where our son is?" The woman said taking a seat, her voice trembled a bit. Raven didn't approach her on his own, but she wished to be in his he boy's life.
"Diane, Raven goes many places and does many things, but he never does anything irresponsible. If he goes somewhere, he keeps me as informed as possible and always returns... unlike a certain redhead." The last part was mumbled by Theodore.
"I hope you realize how irresponsible that is." Diane stated with a scuff.
"I know, but that's how my father raised me, and look where I am now. The day that boy goes somewhere without even trying to contact me, will be the last." Theodore said proudly, pointing out the window to show her the breathtaking view. "Did you know Raven is currently in the top five in his school?"
Diane shifted her weight as she looked at him. Rachel paid no attention to this. Almost every conversation between the two ended with Diane complaining about Theodore's poor parenting skills and Theodore saying how good of a child Raven is.
He couldn't help himself. Diane had cheated on him before they married and ended up giving birth to Rachel. A year later, Raven arrived, and things only got worse between them until they decided to get a devours.
Diane has custody of Rachel, whereas Theodore has custody of Raven. They were barely keeping together. Theodore hasn't cut ties with them because of Rachel, and he still believes Raven should get to know his mother.
He couldn't force the boy through; all he could do was nug him in the right direction quietly. Theodore and Diane brought Raven into this world, the man believed that every parent should give their child as much love as possible.
They didn't decide to come here. Despite this, he was very proud of Raven. He may be impulse at times but at least he knew right from wrong.
"I give Raven this much freedom because I believe he deserves it. The young man is intelligent, respectable, and trustworthy. He'll be more than ready to take over all of my businesses by the time he's eighteen.
"And if he continues on his current path, he has the potential to accomplish much more than I did." Theodore closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair. Even though he knew it was wrong to brag about his child to others, even if she was his mother, he couldn't help himself.
"Where is your husband?" Looking at the time, Theodore asked. He needed Raven to be seated by six o'clock because that is when dinner will be served.
Theodore had made it clear to the boy that he should never be late for any occasion, no matter what.
"Right now, Henry is on his way up." Diane said this while adjusting her red dress. Rachel put her phone away because it was getting close to dinner time.
Not long after the woman finished speaking, A man slightly taller than Theodore approached them, with dark red hair and brown eyes. He had a very muscle build. By his side was a young man with nearly identical features to him, though his physique was a little less muscular than Raven's.
The man approached Theodore, who stood up to greet him despite his desire not to.
"Theodore."
"Henry. I hope my staff has been courteous to you." 'I actually hoped they would have stalled you so I didn't have to deal with you for too long.' Theodore thought.
Henry gave a nod and pushed his son forward. They boy looked up at the larger adult, almost shirking. Theodore was a very intimating man, he didn't look as muscle as the boy's father, Theodore was definitely more handsome. He was raised to run his father's business from a young age, which he expanded after a few years of owning.
It was almost impossible to read what he was thinking the majority of the time.
"Mr. Night, good afternoon." The boy said, slightly lowering his head.
"Same to you too, Liam."
After a while, they were all seated at the table waiting for dinner to arrive. There was only one seat empty, and that was Raven's.
Theodore had had many calls making sure his son was safe, last time he was seen, him and Adam were in a game store buying something. It was a surprise to him since his son hardly played any games at all.

The man kept on checking the time until he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He took it and got out of his seat.
"Excuse me." He walked to the living room and answer it. "Yes?"
"He's on his way up." The voice came from a woman who worked at the front desk.
Theodore sighed in relief walking back. He sat back down his mood much better than it was when he had left. At least he didn't need to worry about Raven now, but he was definitely worry about the upcoming dinner.
A minute or two went by and Raven came running in with a white box in his arms, his face covered in sweat. The boy didn't even look in their direction and just ran upstairs. Theodore and everyone else looked at him bewildered.
None of them think he can shower and dress in two minutes, but they were wrong. Raven had literally taken a minute shower. It was just to get the sweat and smell off of him.
He got dressed in black dress pants and a white shirt. Shoes, didn't need them! He was in his own home. He just put on soaks since he was kinda cold.
Raven dashed down the stairs and sat down between his mother and father with only a few seconds to spare.
Raven leaned his head against the back of the chair, panting loudly. He had to abandon Adam because he knew he would be late if he had stayed. But it wasn't entirely his fault. He and Adam took it easy for the first half of the journey.
Then his father texted him to be there by six o'clock, and that's when they started to run at full speed.
When the clock chimed at six, several people came from the kitchen and served them. Raven and Rachel got right to work. Raven because he hadn't eaten since lunch, and Rachel because she adored food the food at Theodore's hotels.
While the adults conversed, the children ate. Raven hadn't looked at Liam since he arrived. Rachel and Liam discussed their plans for their vacation.
"I have your retort card, Raven." Theodore said as he took out an envelope. Raven didn't even flinch when it was mentioned. He knew he did well, as he had done in previous years.
"Could I have a look?" Diane asked. Theodore nodded and handed it over to her. The woman opened it and was astonished by his grades. She knew at his private school the topics were quite difficult and hard for most of the children to grasp.

"I expected to do better in History." Raven said as his mother read his report to him.
"Oh, Raven's school requires students to learn two languages." Theodore told them a bit about the boy. "Because Raven is interested in languages and business, they let him choose three."
Everyone at the table was taken aback, especially Liam and Finn. They knew Raven was smart, but not this smart. The boy didn't need any help from his father to past the test to enter his private school years ago.
The pass rate was extremely low, but the school's success rate has never drop lower than 98#. In the past few years it has rised to minty-nine. The school was one of the best in the United Kingdom.
Raven had been taking French lessons since he was eight years old, so from a young age he knew he wanted to major in languages.
Since he was a child, the boy has wanted to learn a new language. Diane also expected him to choice business because he was supposed to take over his father's company as Theodore's only blood relative.
Liam was filled with envy and rage, knowing that no matter how hard he studied, he would be lucky to get a B.in the simplest of subjects. The same was true for Henry.
Diane returned Raven's report card to Theodore for him to review.
"Your Social Studies grade has dropped." Theodore patted his head. Despite his words, his voice didn't match. The man had taken a look at the subjects at the beginning of the year and knew they would be quite difficult. "You got an A last year.
"I suppose." Raven stated, he wasn't paying much attention though. He hadn't worked as hard in Social Studies that year. Their old teacher had retired, and the new one way worse.
Raven was one of the many students at his school who took lessons and frequently stayed after school to improve his grades. Every time he didn't understand something the teacher taught him right away, he'd complain and say the boy wasn't paying attention.
He did this in every class. Raven was surprised that none of the children's parents got involved yet. Most of the kids at his school were entitled drats who like to think they own the country.
Raven would just ignore the guy when he got annoying. Unfortunately, if Raven didn't pay attention in his class didn't really affect him, they guy still gets good pay at the end of the day while his grades would just drop.
