Synopsis
"I will become a Transcendent whatever the cost!" That was Elias's oath to himself and the world when his mother was murdered before his eyes. To become Transcendent meant to transcend human limitations. To become a being in another realm and have the power, knowledge and sight of everything that surrounds him. An ideal that proves useless when he finds himself residing on planet Earth, a peaceful and magic-less world... at least that's what he thought. Here, too, he was able to use magic, and because of this, the people around him began to awaken, leading to one consequence after another. In sheer ignorance of this world and having lost a certain person, he soon finds himself adventuring on Earth as well, be it to save a life or to return home. *** "Heir of Power?" Quietly, a boy murmured the name of the novel as he picked it up from a bookshelf. At that moment, history began to move forward again. Follow the journey of the Irregular that can use time and space-defying powers ever since he was twelve years old! -------------------------- Instagram: wn_itshashi

Chapter 1 - In Another World

G-Gu-Gurgle.

Hmm... Am I underwater? This feels weird. It's like I am floating, it's chaotic but calm at the same time.

"H--ry!" I can hear some voices, seems like they're panicking about something. Well, I don't care if you ask me.

The muffled voices continued raging on for some time, I then heard, "Let the sys*** wake up... May the pro--cy come true."

Shortly after, my hovering body gained speed and started ascending. My breathing became erratic and my heart was racing... wait, breathing?

Thud

"Gah!!" Huh?! "What the shit, that hurt?!" I clutched my throbbing head while swiveling on the ground.

After around two minutes and fourteen seconds, I promptly opened the gates of my temples, to bask in the view in front of me.

Wroom

Wroom

Some weird things were moving at an amazing speed to and fro, on the road which seemed to be made out of concrete, and it looks so smooth too.

Which damn country had such evolved machinery to make stuff like this?

"Haa?" I noticed just now, that it is the middle of the night, I shifted my neck upwards to see where the source of light is reaching me from, there were these tall poles every few meters releasing the fragments of light, could it be magic? Nah, I don't feel any atmospheric mana at all.

I could feel my left brow quiver, "Where the actual fuck am I?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

I started spiraling on a thing that seemed like a sidewalk. I unconsciously brought my hand to my lips and started muttering.

"What was that feeling earlier, did I get flung from under the earth? Those distant voices too... what were they? Wait, could I've been teleported somewhere? Nah, teleporting magic is a taboo in the whole of Nexus... Haha, why would anyone even have to teleport me fo--oof!"

I seemed to have bumped into someone head first, "Kia~" I heard a weird female squeal.

"Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you," I apologized as that is the most ethical thing a human should do in this situation, "Here," I reached my hand out so I could help her get up.

She gave me a confused look when she took my hand, tilting her head as if she didn't understand what I was saying. Well, that is entirely possible considering I am in a whole new territory.

It got me thinking.

Shit, so I have to create a new transcendental spell from the get-go? I sighed.

I started using up the pent-up mana I had since before going to sleep, the multicolored mana circulated through my body, veins, arteria, and blood vessels, and then reached my brain.

The particles turned into a whitish-gray pigment, then colorless. Hastily I started to program the mana to bring something new into existence, knowledge.

The colorless mana started to take a tinge of blue, which lead to my understanding of this place's language, after all, mana, like us, is a living organism that understands words, commands, and wishes. And what is up with this low volume of it? The spell is sucking me dry!?

What the girl started to say became as clear as glass to me now.

"--, no don't worry about it, I'm such a klutz too, haha, thank you." she raised her head and... I fell in love.

"Ah, you're welcome..." I couldn't look into her eyes...

Isn't this such a cliche? The mc meets the heroine and falls in love at first sight. What is up with this setting?

Forthwith, let's get into details.

This girl had raven hair and black eyes, it is quite unexpected to find someone with the same features as me like that.

Let's explain her appearance. She has a cute and arched nose, her lips are medium sized, her lashes are long and her hair reaches down to her waist. Her physique moreover has its special curves.

Why... is this girl so wonderful already? Well... it might be because I've never spoken to a girl besides my mother throughout my whole life, furthermore, I only spent my time training day in and day out, just like I did around four hours and fifty-two seconds ago too.

"Huh?" Ah, there are two guys with her, bodyguards?

And what's with their clothes too, they're excessively weird compared to Ayla and the other villages back home.

"Hey there," The guy on her right, who had red hair and green eyes waved toward me.

"Hmm? Ah, hello, how are you doing?" I asked, trying to spike a conversation between us.

But still speaking this language feels pretty weird, assuming one language is spoken in the whole of Nexus.

Hmm, I can't say that since there are the kingdoms of Humans, Elves, and Demons that are separate from each other, but we'll delve into that another time.

"I'm doing great," He said and then continued, "I don't want to sound rude but, are you not from this area? You're clothes and stuff um... are weird, you even got a long sword on your back..."

Ah, likewise I seem weird to them too, "This is just my sword and work attire, after all, I'm an adventurer!" I said with a proud scoff.

"Huh? Yeah, there's no help for this guy, he's already slipped on the mind." The other guy spoke, which surprised me due to the fact he had been quiet and noiseless during this whole interaction we've gone through.

"What do you mean, you lowly human?" I replied with a seething tone.

This guy had dark blue hair and hazel eyes, the colors don't seem to fit with each other, and... he seems gloomy.

But, that doesn't give him the right to talk badly of me, I then continued, "What are you doing, Why are you still standing? Grovel before me, you insect. Do you know who you're talking to right now, huh? Do you?"... I kind of feel like a bully seeing how he hasn't said a thing yet.

...

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go so overboard..." My gaze down-casted, and then I raised my head again "Well, you may introduce yourselves, after all, you have the honor of having an audience with me, Elias Ayla himself." I finished with a grin slipping on my face while tapping my chest.

"Um, something wrong with my name?" I said awkwardly pointing a finger at my face.

The reason for doing that is because I received a gasp from the girl and a weird stare from the dark blue-haired boy.

"Is something up, guys?" The green-eyed boy asked the two of them, with a clueless look on his face, like me.

The girl brought her hands to the sides of her face, closed her eyes, and started muttering something.

The dark blue-haired boy took the initiative first and talked, "So, you're saying you're Elias Ayla, right?"

"Yes, you just repeated what I said."

He asked another question, "You're not just a random cosplayer, right?"

"Cosplay?" I tilted my head trying to think of what that word meant, but yeah, never heard it before.

"Where are you from?" He asked.

"I'm from the Ayla village, I'm heir to receive chieftain," I said.

"What is the name of the world you live in?" He asked yet again.

"It's Nexus," I replied

"How many kingdoms are there?" He bombarded me with a question again.

"Wait, wait, why are you asking me all of this?" I looked at him suspiciously.

"Just hurry up and tell me!" He urged me.

This guy's so weird, "Okay, okay chill... There are three kingdoms. The Kingdom of Humans, Elves, and Demons." I responded.

"Age?"

"Currently sixteen, about to be seventeen soon."

"Favorite foods?"

"Hometown's cuisines."

"Favorite tea?"

"Any tea that I drink from my Teapot is a favorite for me," He started asking about my favorite foods now...

"Hmmm..." He brought his hand to his lips, thinking about something.

"Family members?" He's asking about my family now?!

"Two brothers, one is deceased, he died with pride on the battlefield. The other one is young, my mother is deceased, my father's location is unknown. I and my brother are living with our grandpa who has gotten back the post of Ayla's Leader." I gave him my information while sceptically eyeing him.

"Have you ever heard of, 'Heir of Power'?"

"Nope, never," I answered back.

"I see, I see..." He bobbed his head up and down and then told the girl, "Hey, go check out his face up-close!"

"Right away, sir Sean!" She saluted and rushed towards me.

"W-wait..." I took a step back... no I didn't, I rationalized myself and let her get close, I'm not going to be a virgin loser who's scared of girls.

"Hmm, hm, hm, hm..." She was humming a song while touching my face with her hands, playing with my cheeks, moving my head around, uncovering my stomach, and touching my built-up body. After a while, she retreated.

"Guys, let's drop by a coffee bar, it's my treat. And Sean, I think there is a ninety percent chance that he's the one from the nove..."

"What?!" He seemed to have gotten shocked by what she said, I couldn't clearly hear her from here.

She started walking in front of us, she clasped her hands behind her back and turned towards me with a smile so wide and yet beautiful and... I can't even explain it, but she seemed to shine, as if covered by gold mana particles while she said, "You came for me."
