"Dungeon?" Dawn said as he looked at the notification in front of him. Waw. He truly wasn't expected this cave to be one of those. He assumed it was just a normal cave where he could relax for a while, but it wasn't.
Dawn looked in front of him and saw the cave go a bit deeper into the ground. He stood up after a few blinks. Maybe this is his chance to grid some levels, and if things get too bad, he can always leave.
It made no mention of him simply walking away if things got bad. It was preferable to face the dungeon that the unfathomable number of beasts in the forest. The only issue was that it was quite dark.
Dawn took his first steps into the cave, creating a tiny ball of fire in the air. It wasn't meant for attacking, but rather to give him a bit of light.
He came across a set of stone doors as he walked deeper into the cave. Dawn looked back up the cave, unsure whether he should return.
Nah! It'll be alright... maybe.
He approached the door and pushed it, opening with his front paws. Dawn landed firmly on the ground. The doors opened, revealing a dark cavern. He moved forward a few steps and looked around the cavern.
It appeared to be a typical cavern. Dawn walked a little further, keeping the small flame above him, lighting everything around him.
It didn't take long before a bat hissed at him from the ceiling. It was a very dark color that allowed it to blend in with the surroundings; the only thing that could be seen were its bright red eyes.
Dawn raised her head and took a step to the side. The bat flew by and be slashed it with his claw. It couldn't even withstand one of Dawn's slashes, unlike the wolves. The pieces fell to the ground, blood dripping from them.
Dawn was about to go collect and see what he got when another bat bit into his leg. He looked at it, wiggled around, and threw it to the ground. The bat shook its head, ready to charge once more. Dawn was a little more prepared. He stepped in front of the creature and stomped down, crushing its head.
Dawn hummed as he yanked his leg away.

Dawn stood there for a few seconds, staring at the new messages. He sighed and gathered the bats. He appeared to be getting five stat points per level. At least for the time being.

[Bat Ear ×2]
[Bat Fang ×3]
"Mh." Dawn turned away from the decaying corpses. A small swarm of bats flew towards him not even a minute after Dawn walked away. He was becoming increasingly irritated, but this was a dungeon.
It was all about unleashing a swarm of monsters on him. Furthermore, he had chosen to go inside, so he had no one to blame but himself. Dawn raised his head and pondered something. He knew he should have tried this before, but he wasn't sure if it would work, and he still isn't.
Dawn opened his mouth and a stream of flames came out, burning the bats as they got close. The burned bodies had fallen to the ground in front of his feet. Dawn smiled as he closed his jaw.

"Oh, crap." Dawn pronounced a curse. The fireball above went out, leaving everything in darkness; the only light he had was from the fire on the ground from [Dragon's Breath] and the burning corpses on the ground.
He stumbled over to the last bit of light he had and looked around, mostly at the ceiling. Dawn wasn't sure how quickly his MP regenerated, but it needed to be faster. He turned his head slowly as he heard something behind him. He sighed as he noticed... more bats.
The night was going to be long.

[Ding! You have completed the first of three floors in the [Shadow Bat Dungeon. Please proceed to the rest area to claim your reward.]
"Thank you, lawd." Dawn said this while falling to the ground in front of a pair of stone doors. Dawn had spent quite some time clearing out the dungeon's first floor.
After killing a swarm of bats, he needed to rest for a while to replenish his MP and HP before continuing. It was preferable to be safe rather than sorry. The bats were weak, but they attacked in groups, which made them difficult to deal with.
Aside from that, they were fairly easy to dispatch. He killed them with a single slash of his claws. It would have been more difficult if Dawn didn't have access to light. He could just spray some fire on the ground and deal with all the bats after a while.
Of course, it would go out, but by then, he'd already killed all of them. It became child's play once he got into a good rhythm.

Dawn was disappointed that he only received five stat points after reaching level three, but it was better than nothing.
Dawn got up from the floor and walked over to the doors. He pushed the doors open and was led into a different room. With another set of stone doors across from him and a wooden chest in the corner of the room, it was fairly empty.
Dawn, being the greedy jerk that he was, dashed over to chest. It appeared to be quite old, and it wasn't particularly flashy. However, treasure was treasure. It's preferable to having nothing.
[Loot: Y/N]
"What a dumb question. Of course." Dawn said.

"Ohh." Dawn was taken aback by everything he had accomplished. The coins and points were definitely appreciated, but the dagger can go F on its own. For God's sake, he was a dragon! He was deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf How am he supposed to use the damned thing?
Oh no, he can't!
Dawn sighed, perhaps he could sell it later. He hoped he could at the very least, because otherwise it's just a piece of metal. Dawn looked at the other door as she waited for her HP and MP to regenerate.
He was all set after a while. Dawn looked at the doors and pushed them open, revealing yet another cavern. This one, on the other hand, was significantly larger than the previous one.
He entered, sending another small ball of fire into the air to float above him and inspect the ceiling. Unfortunately, he was incorrect. There were no bats on the ceiling like on the previous floor. Dawn began to unwind. He made a huge mistake.
A bat appeared out of the shadows and bit into his leg. His eyes widened and he stood up. The bat clung to the sole of his shoe. Dawn had not anticipated this happening.
He crushed it with his stomp.
"What did I expect from Shadow Dungeon?" Dawn stated that she was jumping into the air. Not long after, a swarm of bats emerged from the shadows.
[Dragon's Breath]
Dawn used his skill raining fire down on them. He only used it for a few seconds not to waist any MP.

Dawn landed on the floor and looked around, multiple bats started to come out of the shadows around him, not even giving him much time to recover.
"I should of taken my chances with the forest."
