He didn't see anyone, which was to be expected. The adults were clearly working, while Rachel appeared to be sleeping.
Raven walked past the living room and saw Rachel on her laptop, talking to someone. Definitely unexpected.
The girl always sleeps at this late, so seeing her awake made him wonder who she was speaking to, but not enough to make him act on his curiosity.
"Here." Raven handed her one of the boxes of food I brought home with him. "Now pay me now."
Rachel snorted and examined the box. She was immediately hit with a divine sense, and just by the smell of the dish, she knew it was to die for. Rachel gave him her best puppy googly eyes and a slight pout.
"Are you serious about making your sister pay?" Raven's voice was soft and delicate, and it could bring most guys to their knees.
"Yes." He responded. "Give me money or there will be no food." He didn't need it; he just wanted to annoy her because he knew she was saving all her money for their trip. Rachel cursed him and gave him money before shoving him away.
"I fucking despise you." She grumbled as she remembered why she disliked Raven.
"It's nice to see we have similar feelings." Raven cooed with the stupidest smile she'd ever seen.
The boy had already left before Rachel could yell profanities at him. Raven was using the thirty minutes to go to the small gym room because he was too lazy to go back out and to a proper gym.
•Limitless Online, Evergreen Continent, Greenwood Forest •
•7:00 PM•
Dawn opened his eyes and immediately looked around him. He was still in the cave where he had last felt off, which was understandable. He walked over to the water and dove in.
Dawn noticed light entering the cave and deduced that it was daytime. He was more confident about traveling at night, but he still wouldn't do it until he reached level five.
Today, the small dragon had no desire to waste time. He'd set the timer for eight hours, but the majority of that time would be spent moving through the forest, killing anything that would give him a smidgeon of EXP.
Dawn made it to the top and dragged himself out of the river before it was too late. He lay on the nice grass, marveling at how the headset could mess with his mind and make everything seem so real.
Dawn said, "Menu." A screen appeared in front of him, but he ignored everything at the top and scrolled down instead. He was a [Chat] button that clinked. He had one message that had yet to be read.
[Player [Albwin] has added you as a friend.]
[Accent: Y/N]
Dawn snickered with delight at Adam's choice of name. Except for Miko, no one knew his username, and she had already stated that she wanted him to find out her name and race when she got to them.
Dawn would have to do some wiki research later to determine how long that would take. He accepted the friend request, which took him to a new page.
[Albin: Online]
"Perfect," Dawn exclaimed. He paused for a few seconds to consider what to say. Adam's most likely only for a short time. Unfortunately, the map only displayed what the player had explored, so he'd have to hope Adam knew of a landmark he could use.
Dawn: [Hey. Could you please tell me where you are?]
Dawn sat on the grass for a while, fiddling with his story. He was curious about how the wings worked. Should he jump off a cliff and say, "Fly!" like a moron? Most likely not. That is something Albwin would do.
Albwin: [You've arrived! Thank you, game developers! In any case, I'm in the heart of Greenwood Forest. Is there anything else around you besides trees?]
Dawn: [I'm near a river. It contains a variety of fish.]
Dawn muttered a few words as she looked down at the fish.
[Random Fish (HP: 5/5 MP: 1/1•)]
"Well, that's not exactly helpful, is it?" Dawn mentioned playing with a fire ball in the air.
Albwin: [In this game, random fish are very common. Didn't you say you have a fire attunement?]
Dawn: [You are correct, my pointy-eared pal.]
Albwin: [Pause. Never say that again. Try using your fire to burning down a tree near the river. If you are close enough, I'll be able to see you smock.]
"Huh. That is an actual good idea." Dawn mentioned making the fireball vanish. Unfortunately, the game did not allow players to be tracked down by others, which would have made the game more realistic. You couldn't simply send a beacon to tell them where you were.
The players had to communicate and figure things out for themselves. It was certainly inconvenient, but it was understandable.

Dawn stood in front of a tree, contemplating whether he should simply set it on fire. Doing so would result in the destruction of many trees. He swung his claws, chipping away at the bark until the tree collapsed. Dawn moved out of the way because it was moving slowly.
Dawn and his group immediately began to hike towards the river bank. He wasn't particularly strong, so even though it was just being rolled, it was a struggle.
Dawn began to wonder if this was really a good idea once they got close to the river. Will the game take any action? He is literally on the verge of committing arson. Dawn wasn't complaining because he'd gladly set something on fire for the sake of it.
"It's too late now!" Dawn screamed. It wasn't too late, but it was difficult now.
[Dragon's Breath]
Dawn briefly used [Dragon's Breath] on the tree. The tree was quickly set on fire, and black smoke began to rise. He believes it might not go high enough.
The young dragon walked over to the treeline and played with his flames to level them up. It took a long time to level up skills and attunements.
•7:09 PM•
Dawn was growing impatient after a few minutes.
"Should I add another tree?" He was wondering when he heard a soft thud next to him. He turned his head, ready to burn it, but he didn't.
A teenage boy crumpled down next to him was closely observing him. He had short white hair, green eyes, and pointy ears. The boy was dressed very provocatively, at least for the middevil era. He also carries a silver sword around his waist.
[Aldwin • Lv31 • Elf]
[Dawn • Lv4 •Dragon]
They both checked each other's status simultaneously. The difference was bound to be noticeable, especially with so many Aldwin grinds in this game. The teen elf smiled broadly and wrapped his arms around the dragon's neck.
"Dawn! It's great to see you again! So you weren't lying about your race, it seems!" Aldwin yelled, likely attracting the attention of every monster in the forest.
"Get off me." Dawn tried to pull away, but it was futile. In terms of stats alone, Aldwin was far superior to him. Dawn wouldn't be surprised if Aldwin's stats were a few dozen points higher.
Limitless Online leveling is a difficult task in and of itself. As a result, players had to start focusing on their skills because they were the difference in fights.
"From the way you talked about your name, I expected it to be more..." Dawn wandered off, trying to think of the best words to say. "I'm not sure. I simply assumed it would be better in some way. "
Albwin took a step back and looked him in the eyes. Dawn felt something similar to the bats' [Fear] skill, and his emerald eyes glowed. As he attempted to stand on his own, his four legs swayed. Sweat beebs made their way down his scales.
"Are you disrespecting my name?" Albwin spoke in a tone that contrasted with his previous demeanor. Dawn channeled some mana through his body and sealed the effects.
"Yes, indeed I am." Dawn replied, watching as the elf hunched over and began to walk away, mumbling a few words.
"Come on, you damn lizard, we're going to a new neighboring town." Albwin stated "We also need to find a skill that will allow you to appear human." You can't go around like that all the time. Because dragons are extremely rare, too many people would want to kill you."
"Oh," Dawn said as he walked behind him. "Where do you intend to go?"
"Well, on our way to the capital, we'll stop in some towns. It is the focal point of this content. There will be an auction there in three days." Dawn's spine tingled as Albwin smiled.
"If what you said is true, you will not be arrested for breaking the rules inside a city, unlike other players. So we're going to that action house, and you're going to steal all the good stuff!"
Dawn gulped as he noticed a mischievous glint in someone else's eyes. Dawn was skeptical that it would work, but if it did, he wouldn't mind. But one thing was certain: this was not going to end well for them. Regardless of how you look at it.
