"Waking up early and joining the council wasn't an easy task, especially with Dravil who we are searching high and wide for. His sudden disappearance has made our heartbeat race at such great speed.
He can be planning on suddenly destroying the world again, or maybe worse.
I had to boil some tea, to warm my body up. Having powers which could lead the world into an ice age of apocalypse, was not on my list.
Yesterday, the students in Rank D had gone on a mission, dangerous, yet part of their training. None has brought back any report of the journey or achievement.
No letter from any could make one worried. But hope stood with them, so a little wait would be better.
I had to keep in mind also that Rank A's missions are life-threatening. They've battled dragons, monsters which could rip the soul from the body and Demons capable of possession.
Although, my heart worries for Rank D, class A, not because they lack training, No! They weren't prepared.
Maybe I could have not sent those poor helpless children on a Rank A mission, even though that boy, Vin, follows alongside….."
Snow dipped the Quill into the bottle of ink, before continuing his writing.
"... An upper rank moon Demon, having exact power as Dravil. Such a mistake cannot be undone.
I am filled with glee on the other hand the children would be able to climb higher into Rank C, that's a dream I always have.
The royal family as well hope for that to happen, without anything going wrong.
King Desmond II has sent letters to the neighboring kingdoms for an urgent meeting. A meeting the council would be present in.
Tomorrow, I hope Vin will complete his mission and come back to Zenphek safe and sound. Then, I would give him a book I've always wanted, ever since he seems interested in Dravil. Who knows, maybe he will be the next hero.
With strength matchable to that of Rank A, Vin, is no ordinary boy.
One day, if time permits, I would love to meet his grandfather he always speaks of."
Snow took a break looking at the book filled with words which smoothly came from his memory. Looking outside from where he sat, the cold breeze from the north blew the pages, opening a new space.
"I wonder if Ivan and Damien had gone to Mount Vernon or Bridge Neville." He mumbled to himself, when a Nix flew in.
(Nix, an enchanted bird, the size of an eagle, which carries letters to anywhere and everywhere in different kingdoms. Having the ability to survive in extreme heat or dangerously low temperature. Their improved eyesight and silver feathers, helps shield themselves from dangers as they pass the letter to the receiver. If killed on the way, their blood would serve as a portal, sending the letter faster to the receiver.)
"Hello there" Snow smiled, taking the letter from a small bag around its neck.
Opening it, he gave the bird a treat (a small nut, the size of a pea.)
"Finally, a letter from Ivan and Damien," he said, reading the words without the smile dropping.
Looking at the Nix, he said, "Looks like those two actually placed their heads together to fight the Demon on the bridge and in Mt Vernon. I'm proud. Ivan wrote there were three low ranked demons living in the mountain, but their strength was amazing. He also wrote Damien fought a D-rank Demon on the bridge, I'm not surprised by this. Anyways, you can go, I'm pretty sure they would need you."
Understanding his words, the Nix flew away into the icy cold, after refreshing itself.
Watching as it flew away, Snow had in his mind, worry, as he waited for a letter from Vin and the others.
