"Lord Dravil, would you mind another fill?"
"No!"
"Erm… okay…."
Nina walked away, her expression filled with sadness. She just wanted her lord to notice her, once. This however was nothing but a delusion.
Vin on the other hand, has his own problems..
One, he needed to get out as soon as possible inorder to accomplish the mission and receive 1500pts and climb higher on the ranks.
Two, there were too many eyes admiring his greatness and all felt creepy.
Three, Alucus would always show up here and there, making his thoughts rather Unsafe.
Four, Nina.
Rubbing his eyes, he felt drained out, especially in a gathering of such.
[Stress! This is all stress…]
"You are stressed out?"
"Would you stop reading my mind, Alucus!" He commanded with an air of authority.
"I'm sorry for disrespecting your privacy my lord-"
"Glad am I to know you have that thought stuck into this thick brain of yours!" Vin poked Alucus forehead with fumes of wrath.
"Okay, we need to discuss!" Saying this, Alucus changed the room, sending them into an empty room which reached for the skies. "Lord Dravil, I have to say this, and I'll say it confidently."
He moved towards Vin without fear, "What did the Council of blood tell you?"
"Uh?!"
"Four months ago, that was before you fought the mages and hunters in Denver, you went to Hell to answer the call of the council. The highest in order. Ever since then, you've been acting off. Not drinking or eating, no explanation concerning this and that. Finally, you didn't answer my letter immediately. And I made it clear I was alive and needed you to come visit me. Lord Dravil, I am asking this with the highest form of respect, "What did the council of blood tell you in hell?."
Vin stood motionless, his head spinning at the words Alucus spoke.
Behind the doors, Nina eavesdropped, wanting to understand why.
"Let's see…."
Vin's memory shot back like a missile in the air, as he recalled the entire incident…
FLASHBACK: FOUR MONTHS AGO…
"Dravil, truly we are surprised to see you here-"
"Why? Is it because you all have seen I lack proper care on anything concerning a small clan of mad Demons with little to no aim. If I didn't come here to waste my time, speak up!" Dravil said, holding a glass filled with blood in an elegant manner.
"Dravil-"
"Just because I allowed you to call my name once with no respect included, doesn't mean you should repeat such a disgraceful mistake. Know your place, fool."
The council members' eyes went wide open to hear him speak with such boldness. Surely, he was a lord and reigned supreme, that however didn't cut off the actions.
"Fine," the council leader said, looking at the members who corrected their mistake.
"Lord Dravil. How does that sound?" Questioned the Demon sitting top.
"Much like it. Now carry on your low discussion"
"Lord Dravil, you are needed to return back to Hell. Spending a month-"
"No!"
"Wait What?!"
"Are you stupid or something? Or did your brain lose its translation cells?. I said No! I'm not coming back to this….. place," Dravil spat out a serious word of disgust, "I won't return to the place which entraps me. Whether or not you like it, choose a better place, without adding Hell!."
"My! My! You need to understand Dravil, that this isn't a request, it is a requirement-"
"Insolence! How disrespectful!" Dravil's eyes went completely black. Rushing towards the council with the speed of lightning, he smashed his head against the wall. "Don't call me with those filthy mouth of yours you foul beast."
"Lord Dravil, I beg you to exercise patience!" Another said, begging sincerely.
"Don't command me!"
"But-"
"Your words are useless and show me worthless. So burn as your punishment for wasting my time here."
Dravil walked away, setting the council in enchanted flames, knowing fully well they would heal and regenerate completely in about the next seven years
However, his blood boiled, knowing he had to come back to Hell.
"Why now! Those damn council members know immediately I walk past the borders, I'll be retrained and prevented from coming back. I know my senses don't lie concerning the wave of the light I smelt. There has been some sabotaging going on, or the council wants to retrain me for eternity. Won't happen."
END OF FLASHBACK…
"My Lord, I know you are…." Alucus tried thinking of the right word to say. A word which won't anger him.
"Speak up," Vin said, now curious.
"I know you don't want to get retrained in hell again after White did so about a thousand years ago.."
(Alucus was about saying "Afraid of getting retrained in hell" but soon remember Dravil despises any word which would render him weak or Underestimate his strength.)
"... We don't either. Because when he did so, we, the highest top demons were retrained as well. A prison suddenly formed around us and chains were kept around our neck." Alucus told him, remembering how he was kept chained while floating in an endless lake of lava. No surface around, with the heat enough to boil a human immediately.
"I understand your words." Vin told him without a smile. Dravil's memory flashing in his head.
A memory of being chained to a large molten rock which stayed underneath the burning fury of fire.
Stripped from clothes, His legs dipped into the lava whose temperature increased every second.
An unbearable heat struck into his body, boiling the wrath which couldn't be quenched.
The punishment for the wicked, demons with no sympathy. Locked in this dimension for eternity.
"Oh my! I never knew Lord Dravil had passed through all those. Even though I need to get him to notice me." Nina planned, quietly walking away.
Vin looked at her through the little space, knowing in his heart she wasn't one to give up easily.
"So, are you staying?" Alucus broke his thoughts
"No, I'm going home…"
"Are you lying?"
Chuckling softly, Vin said, "You got me this time. I'll be heading to Elaskor."
"Well, Lord Dravil, all I can tell you is don't stay long"
Hearing this Vin nodded, moving out of the room with anger in his eyes.
[Why am I remembering Dravil's memories so clearly, without mine reflecting once?.]
Although teleporting through a portal, his mission was at risk.
__
ELASKOR
3 hrs until midnight.
The air filled with tension when Vin stepped out of the portal.
"E-" he tried saying a word, but what he saw seized his voice hostage.
A Demon held Eden by the throat, squeezing the life out of him.
On the other side, Lucas laid defeated, another Demon walking towards his direction. Raising one leg, ready to crush him.
"LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!."
