Akrem.
I was driven by my curiosity like crazy. But still, he didn't flinch,
"Hmm? What?" Iron still showed his usual ignorant flat expression.
Thus I asked him one more time, now with an emphasis that I was his alpha so he was bound to obey me,
"Seriously? I'm your alpha!" I was furious that made him finally looked scared.
"You'd do make a great alpha, 'Krem. For a second, I thought you're gonna rip my throat off. If you can give the horror to your beta, you'll be merciless for the enemies. As expected, I wasn't wrong to think you're going to be a fine alpha."
"Hurry with the info! I command you!" I shot my final blow.
"Okay! Okay! Not now, this is Arianell's mom's request. She asked me not to tell her that she's a wolf. Not until she has her first phase."
Iron succeeded in building my curiosity even more dangerous.
"And how can she have her first phase?"
Iron smirked, I knew something was off.
"When she mates, that's why I asked, why haven't you? What are you waiting for? You'll be helping a poor dead woman's dying wish. Even though she's not poor at all, she was a wife of a billionaire Crane."
Being forced, I finally told him my deepest fear of his relation with Arianell.
"I really need to make sure, you two never…"
Iron startled and chuckled almost choked of his own laugh.
"For Moon Goddess' sake. Akrem Akhmedov! She is absolutely not my type! You know how crazy I am about Diamond?! She's like… ugh… even way more delicious than a sex on the beach!"
I was gladly to shut iron's mouth,
"You, horny wolf!" I popped my eyes almost running from my head.
Then he mocked me back,
"Aren't we all?! Don't tell me you never imagine banging Arianell so hard like you want to hear her scream out of your name from the top of her lungs? Cage her in your arms and seeing the best surrendering yet satisfying expression of a woman could have? How does it feel to hold yourself like that?"
Iron really knew me so well that he depicted my fear of losing game so vivid I was afraid I was going to lose Arianell.
"Darn you, mighty beta. You really know how to make me scared the hell out of me. It was hell. But just for a precaution. Anyone supernatural will know that she's mine. Like I've told you before, I've kissed her on her forehead."
Iron looked like he was shocked a little bit by my answers, he said,
"Ya I know, I know, you don't have to say it twice. I feel like I'm having a deja-vu here. I know that you're clever to mark her. And that's very sweet of you… awww…"
From praising me to mocking me, Iron indeed was the definition of extremely annoying.
But I abode,
"And if you know that she's a wolf, why didn't you tell me?"
Iron looked troubled when he paused and tried to answer my question,
"There's no proof, just like what you've said. You need to be sure, well so I am!"
I became nosier. I was being the possessive alpha, thus I felt like I needed to know all about my mate. The next thing happened was I told iron about my stupid theory,
"How can she be a wolf if she hasn't any wolf blood?
Then Iron bit his lips while widening his eyes as if he was talking to an idiot,
"The mom, 'Krem. The mom!"
Finally I realized…
"Ow… I get it. How could a strong wolf die of being human?
Iron plastered his serious face to start to explain,
"She was cursed by a Tribrid. I actually was in a pack with her mom, thus I can be close with Arianell. Her mom also asked me to keep an eye of Arianell. She is always alone because both of her parents have bigger duty than just raising her. She was the protector of the Main Land, and her dad who you knew had just passed away was the protector of the Imperial Colony, but not from supernatural beings like us and rogue vampires, but from economics tyranny. And the news of Keanu Crane had just died has been a major issue in our supernatural world. We are debating who will protect humans in the Imperial Colony…"
I cut him because I only cared about one thing, about my mate,
"Do you think it's going to be Arianell's turn to protect that city?"
Iron's sighing was followed by further explanation that made me felt calm a little bit. I might sound selfish, but I only cared about Arianell,
"It's still a long way to go, 'Krem. She needs to be good as an Empath first just like her dad. And she needs to embrace her wolf side as well to be able to be strong enough to protect the Imperial Colony."
He paused, then he let out a fact that I might be waiting for the right time to finally had the chance to be a greater alpha,
"And as Arianell's mom died, we actually have duties here in the Main Land which is to erase the rogue vampires."
Then he stopped like there was a hesitation in his story. I tried to embrace him to be brave by asking more,
"Tell me about her mom, will ya?"
He let out a heavy breath,
"Well, she was…"

Akrem.
Arianell ever once told me that her mom needed to be here in the Main Land. Her dad said to her that her mom did an important thing protecting the people in the Main Land. She didn't have the change to tell Arianell the reasons why. Her cancer was malignant. Though only few days, Arianell glad that she finally found her mom.
I got the hunch that Iron knew everything, thus I asked him about Arianell's mom.
Iron was so willing to tell about Arianell's mom. And I was captivated by the great story. I felt like I was in the Green Valley's big library. Just like old times, I was drowning in great werewolf stories. The only difference today was that the stories were told by Iron, my mighty beta who had gone to battles even more than I was.
