Lori slowly made her way to the man with a vicious smile on her face not caring about anything else.
Her precious man , who at that moment was busy talking with some other man, felt her presence and turned back to look at her. He could feel himself mesmerized by her. It just wasn't only her beauty ... as he knew his wife was no less of a beauty which she was quite well known for.... but something about this women was different. He could feel himself hypnotized by her. As the distance between them kept on decreasing due to her walking towards him, he could continue to feel his life drain out of his body at an increasing pace.
Lori instead unexpectedly walked past him leaving him speechless till the end of the party as she never again came back to him for atleast an introduction which he was eagerly waiting for.
He knew who she was. Everyone knew her as she was none other than the youngest daughter of the royal family, princess Loreley Spliadanppurte, the princess who was known for the rumours of taking the lives of a lot of breathtakingly handsome young men with her heart pleasing extraordinary singing.
It was said that her singing had something that could give eternal peace to a man's heart and that he went into the abyss of eternal rest.
Yeah of course, not only were those rumours but also weirdly unrealistic.
That night he couldn't stop thinking about her even though his wife was lying naked next to him which was too much of an alluring view for him not to take notice of. Yeah obviously it wasn't anything new but that was the only thing that kept their marriage alive. They were married off to each other by their families as a part of their business deal. Even though she was beautiful, had all the necessary qualities that a man could desire from a woman, he could never love her. He didn't know the reason for that or whether she loved him or not , neither did he ever try to know.... he didn't love her or did he?
She too never bothered to tell him. They were obviously two complete strangers who willingly married each other unwillingly.
Both gave uttermost importance to their family business which their ancestors built with their blood, sweat and tears. She knew how much she was desired by a lot of men and exactly how much her 'to be husband' had no concern for her, but she wasn't any different. She was a materialistic one. As long as she could enjoy the fortune and live expensively and independently, nothing else mattered. Pleasure was obviously included.
But these are all the feelings that she harboured as a newly wed. Nowadays, it feels completely different...
