"You don't love her, so why not tell her that? It's meaningless to keep her hanging like that. She's a fool..... she has always been.....", She told him in a cold voice.
Edward remained silent not knowing what to say.
"Silence won't do any better, Edward. If you think she's better than me, then it's up to you. Obviously, I won't just sit and watch, and let me tell you she won't give you anything different or better than me. She doesn't even have the slightest idea about anything except her own world which includes herself and me and obviously my 'things'. I was least bothered by all of these, but this time I'll participate and play the game equally with her. I WON'T LOSE."
"Why does it matter? We don't even love each othe-"
"She doesn't love you too.", she interrupted Edward before he could finish his sentence.

"Huh......At the end, it's still the same....", Edward sighed.

"It wouldn't have been so if you thought differently....", she answered, her voice filled with regret. She had enough of it....
A forgotten soul of her family, who always felt as if she had been erased from existence. Her name too, had no significance at that point. Sometimes, she herself couldn't remember who she actually was. Her identity was no longer hers. It was taken by that BITCH! YES! It was taken away by Lori, leaving her empty. A nameless non-existent creature.......
Their mother was pregnant with the fourth child. The two girls remained in the mansion with their tutor while their little brother was allowed to accompany their mother who was in labor, to the hospital. Mother gave birth to a baby girl but never bothered to hold her in her arms. It was the same as them when they were born. Mother wasn't even bothered to name them. The first three children received their names from their grand parents but by the time the youngest one was born, grandmother had already passed away leaving grandfather all alone in a secluded room due to some unknown reason. Therefore, the youngest one was left without a name. She would always cry which annoyed mother as it disturbed her peace while she smoke in front of the baby.
'Oh! She's such a crybaby!', Mother would always frown and say this.
The brother had the birth certificate with him since he was the only one who was present at the hospital during her birth and it was thus handed over to him. It wasn't filled, and remained unfilled and forgotten about in some corners of the mansion, for many years. The kids wanted to name the baby back then, but the brother somehow couldn't find the certificate which he clearly remembered where he kept. And for some reason, the children were also forbidden from going near the baby or play with her. She was different, and they too could unknowingly sense it. Things started to change as she continued to grow up. The maids, who would never even try to feed milk to her when she used to cry aloud due to hunger, as a baby, were now all around her acting like a pack of loyal dogs panting and wagging their tails, providing their master with unending love and care, while the other three kids remained unattended. Their behaviour continued to become weirder and weirder until one by one they all committed suicide. No one knew what actually happened behind those closed doors when they were taking care of the nameless daughter as that was where their hostile behaviour towards her changed into complete devotion.
The kids never had a proper look at her. The first time their eyes met was when the younger of the two girls couldn't stop crying as the last surviving maid hanged herself in front of her who looked like a walking corpse as her eyes looked lifeless even before she choked herself and took her last breath. The older one wasn't present there at that moment and the younger one kept on crying, resting her head on her knees, sitting at the dark corner of her room. When she raised her head, she saw the figure of the nameless one standing in front of her.
"When.....ah- ah....did.....ah.....you come here.....ah...ah-", she asked with a shaky voice, as couldn't sense her presence.
"Long ago", the youngest one replied with a bright smile, which melted the other one's heart as she stopped crying. She felt as if she wasn't scared anymore and forgot all about it.
The youngest one then held her hand and took her to her room.
"Let's play together from now onwards since there's no one to stop us now", she said with a smile even brighter. She looked like a ray of sunshine in the other one's eyes. From then onwards, she would go to her room to play with her everyday as her distance with the older one kept on growing. The older one always felt uncomfortable whenever she passed by the nameless one's room which is why she never entered there.
But the nameless one did take the initiative though. One day, the eldest one saw her standing across her room.
"What's your name, big sis?"
"Loreley"
"Wow. It sounds so pretty. You never play with me. Do you hate me because I don't have a pretty name like you?"
"No, I don't"
"Big sis, I really like your name, I'm taking it, okay?"
"Huh? I don't understand."
"Hehehehehe", she ran away as her laughter echoed throughout the hall.
The following day, while passing by her room, Loreley saw her writing something on a paper. Curiousity made her walk up to her.
"What are you writing?"
"Big sis!!!!! I'm writing my name!", she answered with excitement.
"What's this paper?"
"What else? My birth certificate ofcourse! Hehe!"
"Where did you get it?"
"That's a secret!!!!!"
"I clearly remember how much we searched for it but could never find it. Is it the real one?"
"Yes it is!"
"Then where did you get it from?"
"It's a secret!!!!!!!!!"
"Leave it. What name did you give yourself?"
"Why? It's Loreley ofcourse! Didn't I tell you yesterday that I'm gonna take your name?!"
She answered gleefully....

She really took away her name.....
The forgotten eldest Sister, the eldest daughter of the Spliadanppurte family, his wife, forever stuck in that unintentionally unrequited loveless marriage with him, Edward's present wife, even with so many identities she was nameless now. She was once named 'Loreley' by her grandfather when he was well awake, before he fell into the abyss of eternal sleep. But now, the pitiful nameless youngest one was known among people by the name that she snatched away from the original owner in a similar way in which she increased the distance between Marley, that once terrified elder sister, and the eldest one.
Now it has come to such a point where there only existed the now eldest daughter, Marley Spliadanppurte and the youngest daughter, Loreley Spliadanppurte in the royal family.....
and maybe...... a nameless someone
..........who knows who........?
