"Do you really have no intention of changing things back to the way they used to be?" Eisen wanted to make sure where Gino's stance was. "Of course not, Eisen. I worked a dead-end job that offered me no assurance for the future. Each and every single day, all I had in my life was Zodiac Ascension. The fact that it is now merged in real life is good enough for me. At least in this world, I am one of the twelve strongest players in the whole population, and so are you, do you mean to tell me that your life was amazing yesterday?" Gino retorted back to Eisen with a question.
His question caught the Gemini off guard, as the Scorpio did not know just how much of a loser he actually was. "It really was not; I can say that much. But we cannot just live in a world that turns non-players into NPCs just because they never touched the video game before, it is just unfair." Eisen was taking the high road after all.
Gino walked out of the tavern as he bid Eisen farewell. "Do what you want to do, Gemini." Gino left the place after he said so. "Let's get out of here." Blizz said to Eisen.
"So, does that conclude your decision, then?" Blizz asked him. "Yeah. I guess so. I am going to have to side with Sagittarius in this fight." Eisen replied to him.
As the two were walking, they saw a couple of low-level players who were ganging up on a huge ice slime. At this rate, all five of them were going to be wiped out in no time.
Eisen felt bad and started to jog towards them. "Hey! When you are fighting against ice-type monsters, make sure to have a flame user within your party." He taught the kids how to deal with it.
The ice slime stared daggers at Eisen as it hopped around and approached him. It proceeded to tackle the Gemini, dealing -1 damage after each tackle.
The kids looked on in horror. "M-Mister! The slime is attacking you!" They were worried that Eisen would be killed by this thing. But the Gemini just shrugged it off. "I am going to teach you how to deal with these things, alright?" Eisen uttered out.
"B-But at this rate, it is going to kill your, mister! It has been tackling you for twenty seconds now…" A kid told him with a scared expression. Eisen looked at the slime and just smiled. "Oh, is that so? Do not worry, I am at maximum level already." Eisen said smugly.
Blizz smirked. "Look at you, showing off to a bunch of kids." He said jokingly. "I have to save them, you know." Eisen responded back as he pulled out a knife.
"Flame Half: Immolation." He said as he coated his knife with flames. Eisen cracked his knuckles to prepare for the battle. As fast as lightning, he kicked the slime right into a tree and proceeded to jolt towards it as he stabbed it with his knife.
The five kids then walked closer to it as Blizz guided them. "As you can see, once these things are met with their elemental weaknesses, which is in this case, flames, their ice shields melt, rendering them vulnerable to physical attacks." Eisen said to them as he urged them to come closer.
After that, the kids ganged up on the slime and finally emerged victorious as their blunt weapons were now able to pierce its non-existent ice shield.
