Suddenly, their conversation was then interrupted by the roof getting blown out by someone. Water started to rain down from above. "What the hell, is it raining?" Blizz asked as he looked up.
"No. No it is not." Eisen said as he knew exactly who it was, he looked at Sagittarius who was already preparing her bow and arrow, pointing up to the sky.
A blonde-haired woman in her early twenties was standing on top of the destroyed ceilings. As the foot soldiers were about to go ahead and engage in combat with her, Astrid the Sagittarius ordered them to stand down and say back.
Both Astrid and Eisen leapt up above the destroyed parts of the roof to see the assailant face to face, it was the Aquarius, she wore the same white robe armor that the Gemini and the Sagittarius wore, she also had a gourd that she carried around on her back, it was filled with water.
"I see, it looks like you have already chosen your side, Gemini." The Aquarius said to him. "Y-You've got it all wrong, Syrene." Eisen responded. "What do you mean?" She asked.
"I definitely understand you've had a tough experience in real life, but leaving us stuck inside Zodiac Ascension is not doing anyone any favor at all. Sure, I might have been a wimp compared to who I am in the game, but I still want to live our normal lives, for the sake of my parents." Eisen revealed his main reason for siding with Sagittarius to the Aquarius.
"Shut up. You do not know anything about me." She said with a menacing gaze as she opened her gourd and started to cast a spell. "Hydro Jar: Water Whip!" She exclaimed as both of her hands were now equipped with whips made out of water from her gourd.
Sagittarius was quick to let her arrows rain at Aquarius, providing cover fire for the Gemini to swoop in and land an attack. Eisen wasted no time and immediately got up close and personal within her. "Since words are not enough to convince, looks like we have to do it the hard way." He said to Syrene while staring deep into her very soul itself.
Syrene the Aquarius proceeded to let out whipping techniques in front of her, it was clear now, she had no regard for Eisen's safety at all. She was fighting for real. As the droplets of water started to rain down from above from her whips, Blizz was already there, holding her whips with his own bare hands and turning them into ice. "Heh, ice beats water." He said in a snarky tone while grinning.
Eisen exhaled for a moment as he focused in casting a spell. "Flame Half: Controlled Burn." He whispered under his breath as he placed his hand on top of Syrene's head as his palms were coated with flames. But his fiery hand's immolation had now turned into steam. "Did you really think I would fight you without a back up plan in mind, Eisen?" Syrene replied with a confident grin as it is revealed that her whole body was in fact covered with hydro armor all this time.
She kicked Eisen in the gut before he could react and overpowered Blizz's grip, resulting in her throwing him down into the ground while Eisen was sent flying down as well.
Astrid the Sagittarius looked at her with a judgmental stare. "You really are not holding back, aren't you, Syrene?" She asked the Aquarius. "I expect you to do the same as well." Syrene replied.
Blizz groaned in pain as he noticed that Eisen was not moving at all. Worried that he might have hit his head or something, Blizz quickly shook his body as he was on the ground. "Wake up, buddy!" he said.
"Yeah. I am up. I underestimated her, Blizz. Syrene's a smart player, she always prepares and thinks of her moves in advance before engaging. Quite the opposite as that of Gino." Eisen uttered. "Get up, we have to assist Astrid."
But little did the Gemini know, the Sagittarius did not need any sort of assistance at all. Syrene the Aquarius proceeded to summon bubbles from out of her gourd, there were about twenty medium-sized bubbles floating around the air rapidly. "No matter how strong your arrows might be, they can't pierce these all at once." Syrene remarked.
Astrid scratched the back of her head in annoyance. "I am sure you've forgotten it already, Syrene. But the first two to become Zodiacs in the game were me and Leo. Did you really expect some mere bubbles to stop me?" She then pulled out all the arrows in her quiver, thirty of them in total.
"Arcus Arts: Piercing Heavens." She said calmly as all thirty of the arrows merged into one large arrow only. Syrene gulped and prepared for the counter attack as she was still melting the water whips which Blizz turned into ice a few moments earlier. "Tch. At this distance, it is impossible to dodge her arrows. I have to brace for them!" She said to herself as the bubbles acted as a shield to try and stop the arrow from piercing her. She was using up all of the water from her gourd to reinforce the shields in the meantime.
"Get lost, Syrene." Astrid felt a sense of pity as she only aimed the projectile at her shoulder instead of just outright killing her. While Eisen and Blizz were making their way back to the top, Astrid already let it loose.
At the speed of light, all the bubbles were popped instantly as the large arrow then proceeded to pierced Syrene's shoulders as she wailed in pain. "Holy crap…" Blizz uttered.
