"Shouldn't we go ahead and chase her?" Blizz asked Eisen who in turn relayed the question back towards Astrid the Sagittarius. She quickly shook her head as Syrene was quickly limping back towards safety after she was heavily wounded by her piercing arrow.
"No need. Let her relay the message to Leo. The message that we are coming after them, that we are not pushovers who will stand idly as our world is merged into one with Zodiac Ascension." Astrid proudly said.
But during that split second shot that she let go against Syrene, Eisen noticed that she actually aimed her sights down instead of aiming for the Aquarius' head.
"Did you do that on purpose?" Eisen asked her. "What do you mean?" Astrid played it off like she did not. The Gemini did not ask even further afterwards. "Nothing, never mind."
While the repairs were going on and even the foot soldiers joined in on fixing what Aquarius had destroyed from her attacks earlier, Eisen and Blizz were preparing to say their good byes to the leader of the opposition.
"We will be leaving now, Astrid. Thank you for the hospitality." Eisen said as he walked out of the door. "Oh, and I will make sure to tell the other players to head here as well in order for our numbers to grow." He added with a smile.
"Best of luck to you, Gemini." Astrid said with a slight nod. "And as to you as well, Sagittarius." With that, the two of them had gone their separate ways already.
"Where are we going to go now, Eisen?" Blizz asked him while he was munching on a mutton leg that he stole from the residents earlier. Eisen looked at him with a judgmental gaze in his eyes.
"Let us go visit another nearby town, maybe some players and locals need our help." Eisen said with a confident look. "Look at you, being all helpful once again." Blizz responded. "I just want to boost our numbers so that we can fight evenly against Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, and the others." Eisen retorted back as he clenched his fists. "This is all for my parents. They do not deserve to live their lives as NPCs in a world that they have no knowledge of living."
Indeed, Eisen did truly love them. Despite them being really poor and all that, it still did not stop them from living in a healthy and functional home like any other.
Once they reached the town, Eisen checked in to a tavern to get some shut eye as it was already getting dark.
The innkeeper's eyebrows furrowed as soon as he saw the two of them. "I-I am terribly sorry, sir. But it seems like the only room we have left has already been taken…unless you wish to sleep in another room with a bunk bed? I heard the one who checked in there wanted a companion to split the bill." The innkeeper said nervously.
For a moment, Eisen contemplated just journeying out in the dead of the night and sleeping underneath some trees, but he realized that the dangers of Leo's group hunting him down was still apparent, and he was not going to die without a fight or while sleeping. With a sigh, he nodded. "Alright…I will take the bunk bed, then."
