"So, you did in fact come here for revenge." Eisen said as he prepared for combat. "Why is it that you wish to turn this perfect world that we right now back to the way it was, Eisen?" Leo asked him which made the Gemini let go of his guard as he slowly approached Gilgamesh.
Eisen sat down next to him. He knew that Leo was not the type of player or person to use cheap shots or to attack him while he was unprepared. He was a gallant and honorable fellow. "I just think that it is in fact quite unfair for those who did not even play the game to be stuck in such a place." Eisen replied.
Gilgamesh touched his beard as he listened in on what the Gemini had to say. "I see. It seems that is not quite a bad reason to fight." He replied. "But I know that your life is not exactly the best. You were constantly bullied, ridiculed, mocked and even laughed at every single day just for being who you are in high school, why would you ever want to go back to that?" Gilgamesh's words rung inside Eisen's head, causing him to stay quiet.
"H-How can you even say that? You do not know at all, Gilgamesh." Eisen stammered over his words as he uttered back. "I do, Eisen Evans." When the Leo said his last name out, that was when Eisen knew that Gilgamesh had known him and his life in reality.
Eisen faked a tough-guy expression and just brushed Leo's words off of his shoulders like they were nothing. "Since you know so much about me, how about you? Why the hell would you protect the only thing that is preventing us from fixing everything back?!" Eisen raised his voice which made the other players in the vicinity stare.
"Simply because I have nothing left to go back to." Gilgamesh's face was filled with sorrow and utter pain as he said that. "My daughter died a few months ago, though I have never disclosed that information to any of you. Keep in mind that I was not struggling at all. I was the owner of my very own law firm, we delved into cybersecurity and data privacy in our office. I was never really out of money, not even once. But I overworked. I stayed for days and days inside my office and never even bothered to check up on my dear daughter, until it was revealed to me that she had died." This was Eisen's first time hearing the Leo talk so much.
"How did she pass, if you do not mind me asking?" Eisen asked him.
"Hover car accident. The AI chip malfunctioned and caused the car to flip back. She did not have her seat belts on, so, she fell to her death. A freak accident, really." Gilgamesh replied.
Blizz listened in to the two of them, saying nothing at all as he knew that he had nothing worth of while to say.
"I am sorry for your loss, Gilgamesh." Eisen replied.
"Don't be." Leo stood up and smiled at Eisen. "You are a good kid, Eisen. Are you really sure that you do not wish to join us in protecting Kael from the Sagittarius' opposition?" He asked one last time.
"Not a chance. Sorry." Eisen Evans replied as steadfast and as stalwart as he could, showing no weakness whatsoever in his resolve.
"I see. Then you are an obstacle and a potential wrench in our plans and machinations, you are going to have to die here and now. I take no pleasure in this." Gilgamesh quickly changed tones as he pulled out the two axes on his side.
He raised his weapons while Eisen was still trying to process what he just said, but luckily, Blizz halted the attack. "Flame Half: Controlled Burn!" Blizz placed his palms in front of Gilgamesh to stop his attack, he then pushed Eisen to the side. "Wake up!"
Eisen looked at Leo and felt all of the pity that he had towards him vanish way into nothingness. "Frost Half: Immobilize!" Eisen placed his palms on the ground as a path of ice was about to get to Gilgamesh, but the latter jumped up to the tree to dodge it.
The tree was now burning because of Blizz's attack earlier. Gilgamesh stared at the two of them from above, looking down on them quite literally.
"This is difficult. It is like fighting two separate players at the same time. I guess this is the true power of the Gemini. Deception and confusion induced by having to battle two of them at once." Gilgamesh said to himself.
"I hope you've already brushed off the rust you have accumulated, Eisen." Blizz said to him with a confident smirk. "Way ahead of you." Eisen retorted back with a calm demeanor. "If we can take him down, that means we'll make everything easier from here on out."
The burning tree caused the players to circle around and see just what the commotion was. "W-What is happening over there?!" A player asked. "I-I think that is the Leo Zodiac and the Gemini Zodiac! They are fighting against each other!" A bystander pointed out.
Gilgamesh jumped down from it, shattering the iced up ground below him from the sheer weight and towering physique that he had. It was like Eisen was no longer fighting a Zodiac such as himself, but the final boss of the game itself.
The Leo started to run towards him with both axes in hand, just as Blizz was about to cast another Flame Half spell, he was interrupted by Gilgamesh throwing an axe at him, Blizz knew that he had to dodge it. "Tch. Clever old man." He thought to himself.
Eisen pulled out his knife and enchanted it with Frost, but the ice was quickly being chipped away and shattered by each blow that Gilgamesh dealt.
Blizz ran back and started to cast his spells once again. "Flame Half: Controlled Burn!" He shouted as a wide array of flames came out of his palms as he aimed it at Leo who had his back turned around.
Without even seeing what was going on behind him, Gilgamesh acted out of pure instinct and jumped up high, causing the flames to hit Eisen instead. "Crap." Blizz had a look of regret before the flames hit his other half. Eisen staved off the flames with his knife but it was no longer coated in ice anymore, it was melted away in an instant.
And he had another problem as well, from up above. Leo was coming down and was about to crash upon him with his axe in one hand. Eisen knew that he could not run out of this dilemma and instead decided on parrying the attack.
*Clang*
His knife had shattered from the sheer intensity that Gilgamesh struck with. Eisen leapt backwards to create some distance. Blizz then ran back to pick up Gilgamesh's axe that he threw earlier. "Shoot, this is the fastest I've ever ran in my life…" he thought to himself.
"Even with the two of you, your will cannot beat mine. Mine is a conviction that will never falter even under the strongest of storms and the most scalding of flames cannot faze me." Gilgamesh walked slowly forward.
For the first time in his life, across all the bullies that mistreated him and the instances of that happening in his high school life, this was in fact the first time that Eisen had come face to face with something just like this.
Gilgamesh the Leo was like an inevitable force of nature. He could not be stopped at all, Eisen thought.
"Frost Half: Spikes!" He casted a spell that made spikes of ice appear out of the sky and to have it come crashing down, but Leo just took the spell, even as he was hit, he did not react. Instead, the ice spikes were shattered.
Blizz noticed that Eisen was paralyzed in fear, he ran towards Gilgamesh and started to attack him with his own axe, but it went as well as one would expect. Blizz stood no chance as his chest was wounded by Gilgamesh's strike.
"Eisen!" Blizz screamed as he tossed the axe to him. A million other thoughts were swirling around Eisen Evan's mind. But the most important thing that he was remembering right now was the time when his parents surprised him in his sixteenth birthday with a Reality Altering Headgear.
[Memories Came Flooding]
'M-Mom? Why did you buy this? I thought we were already behind on our rent?' a younger Eisen asked.
'Oh, do not worry dear, me and your father knew how much you wanted to have that thing, we kept hearing stuff about it from your phone. You watch videos about it every time, it would be a tragedy if we did not buy you the RAH.' His mother replied.
In tears the younger Eisen stood up and hugged his mother.
Eisen quickly snapped out of it and caught the axe swinging around in mid air which Blizz threw to him.
"My parents didn't buy me the RAH out of their blood, sweat, and tears just to raise a loser of a player." Eisen said as his eyes turned white, surprising Gilgamesh.
Eisen Evans jolted towards him with ice enchanted on his feet, this made him slip in and out of the battlefield with no effort at all, making him a tough target for the Leo to hit.
All the while this happened, Blizz was hurling balls of Flame at Leo. "Yes! Show me the strength befitting that of a Zodiac!" Gilgamesh shouted, but before he could even realize it, Eisen had already wounded him multiple times.
The axe that Eisen used was sharp enough to cut through Zodiac armor, the one that the Leo wore himself. He ended the flurry of axe attacks with a kick to his solar plexus, sending Gilgamesh flying off.
Blizz and him regrouped once again. "Y-Your eyes, Eisen…" Blizz said but he soon cut it out as he knew that Leo was not going to relent.
The Leo was now coughing up blood from the kick. As soon as he finished, he was ready for more once again. "I-I see. Those white eyes of yours shall consume everything soon enough." Gilgamesh said which confused the two. "I do not need to do anything to you after all. Good luck, Gemini." Gilgamesh turned around and bid them farewell shortly after.
"What just happened?" Blizz asked as he stared at Leo's back. But as soon as he turned around to see where Eisen was and how he was doing, the Gemini had already collapsed.
"Eisen?! Eisen?" Blizz's screams could not reach the boy's ears at all.
"White eyes, huh? Who would have thought that kid would have it." Gilgamesh said to himself as he chuckled lightly. "This is the first time in years that I have not finished what I started with an opponent. Well, I suppose this instance warrants it." He added.
