The next morning as I walked outside not paying attention to my surroundings I bumped into someone, It was Haro. "Haro, what are you doing out here?" I ask in confusion but he just walked back in bumping shoulders with me which made me feel as If I had done something. I quickly went inside but he was going towards the basement, I acted out of not thinking and ran in front of the door blocking him from going in. "What's your problem today?" I ask since he basically struck a nerve by ignoring me before. "Nothing, just a messed up formula is all!" He snapped before pushing me to the side and going in the basement. I layed on the floor in confusion and stubbornness before Willow came downstairs from the commotion she heard, "Kyra, what happened?" they asked as they dashed over and grabbed my hand to help me up. "You alright?" Willow asked to which I nodded and stood properly. "Haro's having a fit since he got some damn formula wrong." I hiss with an annoyed tone but stopped and just patted Willow's head even if she was taller. "Really Kyra, really?" Willow started before laughing suddenly.

Kyra's breath was shaky as her vision was blurry with tears, an opaque red liquid ran down her arm as a zombie bite was present. Haro picked up Kyra and carried her to the car, they drove fast and once they got home he wasted no time fleeing to the basement with Kyra in his arms. He quickly opened a safe and took in a deep breath before shakily pouring the blue liquid on the wound, Kyra's eyes were closed but the wound suddenly disappeared and she seemed a little pale but less then before. Kyra's eyes opened slowly and she smiled lightly before patting Haro's head as his face went from worried and tears to confusion and happiness. Willow hugged Blizzard tighter with joy before signaling Haro to take Kyra upstairs and she would make something to eat. Kyra was able to speak but Haro told her to save her energy, so they decided to make rice balls and some soups. They brought a plate up to Kyra and Haro went downstairs to eat while Willow decided to eat with Kyra and enjoy making sure Kyra was going to be fine. It was childish but they felt comforted.
After eating, Willow placed a cup of water by Kyras bed, "Do you feel normal, sick, or the urge to kill us?" Willow asked since Kyra still wasn't completely better yet, "I feel a tiny bit out of it to be honest.. I also feel tired but nothing else! I am just fine." Kyra confessed before hugging Willow and then facing away from Willow and glaring at the wall. "Have a good night, Kyra." Willow said with an additional giggle before walking out the door and turning off the lights, "Thank you." Kyra mumbled as the lights turned off and she fell asleep. When she woke up Willow was tiredly standing by the door frame partially asleep, "Willow?" Kyra asked which made Willow almost jump and hit her head on the frame. "Yes, I'm awake and here!" She shouted before her eyes focused on me, "What's wrong with you, did you not sleep well?" Kyra asked in confusion before Willow nodded quickly and shuffled away in embarrassment. Kyra laughed and shrugged it off before trying to get up and stumble over to the stairs, she managed to get down to the last five steps before slipping and falling in a flash.
She hit her head badly and as much as Haro wanted to laugh like a bad friend or like best friends he rushed over and quickly helped her up frantically asking her if she was okay and why she got out of bed so stupidly. Kyra started to laugh vibrantly before jumping to her feet and hugging Her tightly. "Thank you.." Kyra said over and over again knowing she now technically owed him her life. A few seconds later Lux burst through the door with their little brother holding some-- 'lollipops?' Kyra thought in confusion as Lux dropped their brother and their little brother dashed over just to shove a lollipop down my throat which shocked me but I smiled with the lollipop stick sticking out and thanked them both before embracing Lux in a hug. Lux was not the least bit concerned about me almost turning into a zombie but mostly that I felt sick. "You poor dear." Lux teased acting like a protective smile that made me almost feel childish and laugh awkwardly, "I missed you too Lux." I smiled and they just sighed before smirking which showed they had an idea then they spoke. "I had a lollipop joke, but I forgot it." Lux then paused before smiling more, "It's on the tip of my tongue!" They joked before giving me another lolipop.
"That sucked." I joked before realizing I felt way better and the second I went to say that I tripped over their brother from how short he was! "Yikes! I am so sorry, you're just so short!" I quickly attempted to get up before helping the kid up but he was-- laughing? "I used to do that to him all the time!" Lux said laughing with a nervous smile. "he's used to it, no worries!" Lux spoke for him while the kid nodded in agreement. "That doesn't sound very fun being short." I hoaxed, "It's not." The little one practically hissed and I smiled slightly at that before walking over to Willow and shoving her out the door. "You need to get out more, go have fun with Blizzard!" I pressured Willow while shoving her in the car while throwing Blizzie in as well. She seemed not in the mood and wanted to protest but decided not to and sped away with Blizzard to a doggie park, we had leftovers so after Lux and their brother had ate we all decided to be childish and tell scary stories before it got dark so Lux would have to stay the night.
It was all childish plans but we had fun and in the morning Haro was in the basement not tired, Willow and blizzard were fine, I wasn't unwell and Lux along with their brother got home safely. "What a strangely lucky life we have had for the past few weeks" was the one sentence I was grateful to accept.
