As I woke up my eyes were heavy and felt like they were burning as if I had cried all night, "I feel horrible today.." I sighed before forcing myself up which rarely happens since I'm an optimistic person.. Right?
I trudged over to the door and grabbed a normal boring hoodie to wear with some baggy shorts. I felt as if every bad feeling was being shoved into this one day but I promised myself I will stay positive even if it drains me. I yawned and brushed my hair and teeth before realizing we were low on supplies and most likely food that isn't grown, I looked over at the window and my brain finally stopped blocking out noise. I came into realization that there was little taps coming from the window. It was raining...
It was a heavy pour which meant we probably can't go out. I opened my door and stepped over to the kitchen to see outside the window that the zombies seemed to clear even more. I ran my hand along the counter and sighed before walking over to my room and let out a sigh. Tears filled my eyes except I wasn't sure why. When no tears came out during stressful and scary experiences, why now? I wiped my eyes when I heard Ash knock on my door, odd sighting to have him knock on my door and not anyone else. "Hm? Coming!" I said getting up, looking up in the mirror, and opening the door with the best smile I could muster. He stared at me before dashing off, "what?" I was confused..
Lux ran quickly to me and grabbed me leading me to the car. "Lux, stop. Explain!" I jerked my hand away and Lux sighed, "Willow, she wants to come with us back to where Nicole died. It's going to trigger her and I know it, she won't stay here though! Tell her it's dangerous." Lux pleaded before walking to the car, leaving me to follow. I quickened my pace to get ahead and grabbed Willow's car door. "Willow," I began. "Are you serious? please, Don't force yourself." I couldn't bring myself to say more as Willow looked away. "Fine." I sighed before getting in the car. "More details." I said looking at Lux who was driving on an abandoned road. "Haro needs us to.." Lux seemed sick trying to explain the details. "We need a piece of.. Nicole's.. Skin, It might help Haro so-- yeah." Lux sighed glancing sideways towards me, "Right.. because that is so normal." I exaggerated the "O" In "so" and stayed silent the rest of the drive while Willow fidgeted like a child in the back.
"How long is the drive, will it be 'till night? It is dangerous, you know that, right?" I asked to speed the time but Lux ignored me. I let out a sigh before I let my head fall back knowing the drive was long enough for a nap.
