|Four long and excruciating days later.|
Four days.
Four gods be damned days!
He kept me in that damn library for four damn days!!
It wasn't until I finished reading "The Reign of Sieghard Kissling the Cerberus." After six hours mind you.
Then after finishing that I finished the remaining stack of books in twelve hours and then I noticed an evil elderly smile from Ulrich.
I didn't think anything of it when I first saw it, until after he pulled out the third stack of books.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, Imma get you later.
The moment the third stack hit the table I immediately asked how many of the books I was going to read. And Ulrich didn't even blink, hesitate, or stutter.
"All of them."
Luckily, the passive, of my Fishing skill. Calm Mind of the Fisher helped me to maintain focus, as horrible and possible cancelable thoughts started too slowly, go away.
But some of them were so good that I placed them in a special box for later.
Then it wasn't until I was half way through a quarter of the library that I understood the real reason behind Ulrich's evil elderly smile.
{System Notification. Skill: Photographic Memory learned.}
Skill Name: Photographic Memory.
Skill Mastery: 100%
Skill Rank: A (Max.)
Requirements: Intelligence - 10, Rank: Human, and three continuous days of nonstop reading.
Photographic Memory (Passive.): Retain everything you read, seen, or saw.
The combination of Calm Mind of the Fisher and Photographic Memory, easily allowed me to finish the rest of Ulrich's library.
There was so much information to take in that surprisingly my mind or rather my half a brain cell didn't fry.
Then there was the basic information of the seven remaining other, Otherworlders that Ulrich talked about in the four day long read-a-thon.
And Ulrich didn't lie when he said, he would tell me only the basic information about them.
He only told me their name, gender, and class. That was it. Then he said if you want to know anything else then I would have to kindly ask them for it.
That is if they don't kill me first because I asked. Or happen to piss them off somehow.
For Medania, Maeveala, and Maedilahi the three sisters. All of their classes were devil related. Which makes sense since Medania did mention she was an Earth Devil, which also happened to be her class.
Maeveala's class was a Succubus Devil while Maedilahi's class surprised me a little as she was a Rainbow Devil.
The other two female Otherworlders names were Shura and Lena.
Shura's class was interesting as she was a Vampire Knight. And when Ulrich said what her class was, he slipped out that the night was going to be chaotic if she survives.
Lena's class was also interesting as well as she was a Blood Warlock. Again Ulrich let something slip as he said under his breath that the King would do anything in his power to recruit her into his personal troops.
As for the other male Otherworlders. Ulrich released a long and pain-filled sigh as he explained their name and class.
I didn't understand at first but when he explained, everything made sense as I even sighed with pain.
The first one's name was Hennerick and that his class was a Beast Berserker. While the second one's name was also Hennerick and his class also happened to be a Beast Berserker as well.
They were twins.
Both the Otihame and Moulon Kingdom's were heavily forested with an alarming amount of beasts and monsters in them.
Which means that if both Hennerick's got stronger, the amount of beast tides as well as hierarchy of the forests will be challenged.
Then when I remembered my class, I could only really sigh with pain again as just from the other Otherworlders classes, I could tell that all of them were guaranteed to be powerful.
I mean yeah sure my class is an Origin class but that could either be a hit or miss. But somehow I knew that my class had the potential to become really powerful. Just from my Trait: Legion of the Buried alone I had the ability to become really powerful.
The only downside is the amount of bodies I would need to bury for it to happen.
Hopefully the other three Kingdoms agree to my business proposition since I doubt that they would care all too much about the corpses under the Rank: General.
But I would have to wait to talk to the Rak-Sta-Ba-Kin Kingdom as they really did take war seriously. Didn't matter if you were an ambassador or even one of their own. They would kill you where you stood.
They even killed one of their own Princes before because of how seriously they took war. Nothing even happened to the soldiers who killed their Prince as they were following orders as well as the Gorktech Manuscript.
But at least beside learning the Skill: Photographic Memory, was that I was able to find detailed information on the Rank: Human levels.
And from the recent information that I just obtained I wasn't that far off from reaching the next Rank and unlocking the Skill: Telekinesis, gaining a Magic Core, and learning my three main forms of magic.
Yeah Ulrich lied when he said he had to test me about finding information about my three mains of magic.
Then when I asked about anything else higher, Ulrich could only smile and scratch his nose. But he did say he would teach me a special technique for when I increased my Rank. He even mentioned it was for my Skill: Telekinesis and was something that even the current King has tried to learn before and failed.
Which made sense as he was cursed to never surpass the Rank: Human level. At least information on the higher Ranks, was available to those of Nobility. But it was only up to the Rank: General.
And if I wanted to have any information higher, then I would have to find out on my own or find it in the Auction House. Or kindly ask one of the multiple underground gangs, bandits, cults, or one of the banished powers.
Ulrich even mentioned that he had some beef with many of the bandits, cults, and banished powers. He even gave me a couple worn and used journals and said that they held information about each of them and strengths.
I started to smile a little as I was hoping to possibly test myself against some of those powers since they would be the best partners to increase my combat ability. But when I opened the first page and started to read. My smile started to fade as I quickly looked through the journals.
