"Well, just stand behind me and place your hands on my back," Noah stated after thinking for a few seconds. "You only have to pass mana to me."
Erika gave him a weird look while remembering that Noah had infinite mana. However, she didn't say anything aloud and placed her right hand on Noah's back.
Izzy and her mother did the same thing as the three women now stood behind Noah, their hands pressed on his back and their mana passing right through his body.
'Now, I have to start the process.' Noah took a deep breath as he lowered his hand towards the face of one of the men.
A ray of mana shot out from the palm of his hand and directly hit the man's head, making his body shudder despite unconsciousness.
The mana Noah had shot penetrated the man's skin and forcefully entered his body. Noah carefully paved a path towards the man's mana core, something situated right beside the heart.
A mana core couldn't be extracted from the body of a human by anyone in Noah's realm. He knew this as he had learned the process in the realm above his.
'Earth, Gaia and the Palace of Time.' He thought about the name of the realms as the mana finally reached the man's core.
Upon sensing its power, the mana core turned out to be a B-ranked one, meaning that the man's affinity or affinities were B rank or less.
After all, the mana core's rank depended on the number of skills one had learned as well as their affinity. Only by improving this core could they proceed to the next power level.
"Izzy, you can take this core," Noah spoke aloud as he closed his still raised hand into a fist.
A screeching sound echoed throughout the room as Noah opened his palm, a light blue baseball-sized sphere present in his hands.
He handed the sphere to Izzy before repeating the same process four more times. He salvaged four B-ranked cores this way, two of which he handed to Izzy and kept the rest for him.
"I don't think it's right for me to take three cores when you did most of the work…" Izzy muttered while raising one core in Noah's direction.
"It's useless for any of us present here. Your mother can't use this, my mother can't use it, and neither can I use it. Those three have water affinities anyways." Noah yawned before stretching his body.
The three women looked at him with judging gazes while Izzy's brother stared at him silently, something which was considered impossible before that day.
"The ceremony should be over by now. Did you both like any of those academies just from their looks?" Erika inquired while checking the wristwatch on her hand.
"We never got to know much about those who came there. All the information I know about the academies comes from what we have studied." Izzy replied honestly.
Noah on the other hand had already decided what his next course of action would be.
The Zikarth academy had only attacked Izzy currently as she was the only one they had prior knowledge about.
Noah was the obvious target now however he didn't worry too much. His mother was powerful to handle some people on their own, especially if they were at the same level as the men on their feet.
'The problem is that Zuki and mother know each other. He will surely know her power level as well as if he decides to send someone, they would surely be powerful.' Noah observed.
He has full faith in his mother to know that she could kill easily yet a few people on the same level as hers were too much for her to handle.
Even if Noah fought alongside her, his body wasn't powerful enough to cast his powerful magic in succession.
"Aunt, I think it's time for you to pack up anything you like from this house," Noah suddenly announced. "We will all have to shift to one of the academies because these incidents will keep on happening until we join the Zikarth academy."
"Or any of the other traditional big academies for that reason," Erika added with a sigh, knowing well that her son was correct.
She had experienced how the Zikarth academy could be on many occasions. They didn't have any powerful backers on their side either unlike the academies.
"Does any powerful academy even allow that? I clearly remember that none of the top ten academies allow that and going into any other academy wouldn't provide any protection." Izzy's mother stated.
"I know one of the top ten academies that allows that. But till then, we have to prepare for a few attacks." Noah informed before looking at Erika. "Mom, should we pack up and come here?"
"If Rebecca agrees," Erika replied, both of them turning their gaze towards Izzy's mother.
"You don't need to ask for that," She smiled gently despite the events that had happened some time ago. "I will feel safer with you both here anyways."
"Then we will be back with our stuff," Erika replied as the mother-son pair walked out of the house.
The sun had started dipping down outside as the time was five pm. It was surprising how many hours had passed since the start of the ceremony.
"Noah, can I ask you a few questions?" Erika suddenly questioned while the two of them were making their way back home.
"Sure," Noah replied. 'This was coming after all that I did…' he added mentally knowing well what his mother would ask him.
However, Erika's question wasn't something he had been expecting.
"Are you my real son?" She asked, her voice going cold.
[ The skill 'Lie Detection' is under effect. ]
Noah felt like laughing aloud at the scene. His own mother was using lie detection on him to ensure that he couldn't lie.
She would instantly be able to know whether he was lying or not meaning that he would have to tell the truth.
"Mother, I'm your real son," Noah replied with a confident smile.
[ The skill 'Lie Detection' has confirmed that the spoken statement is true. ]
Erika narrowed her eyes a bit before sighing in relief. The doubt she had been having was lifted a bit due to the skill yet things were far from clear.
"Then tell me how you learned teleportation as well as mana core extraction?"
