" Look... "
" Isn't that Mon? "
What now... Don't tell me even here.
" Is he really that handsome? "
Tsk
Did they think I had a buck tooth as well or something? Regardless, the attention on me was even more intense than before; I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I guess some of those scorns turned for the better.
I can see everyone's staring at me, including even the main characters. Charlotte looks at me with quite an indifferent stare. I don't know how to feel about this. Was she looking down on me, or was this just the regular expressionless face of hers?
Anyway, Klee and Leon were also staring at me, and although their faces were indifferent, you could feel swords in their stares, and I know the reason why.
Leon was already a very competitive person, and Sol was his main rival, not only in combat but also in looks. Leon grew up with impeccable looks and he was always the center of attention in terms of that, but when Sol came along, who not only had stronger power but also had looks comparable to his, the flame in his eyes grew, wanting to be the best-looking student.
I'm sure that was why he was looking at me that way, as I do know him quite well.
As for this guy...
Klee loves his body to the point of building it up to almost look like a gorilla. But that was not the only thing he loved. Klee in the story is a closet narcissist who loves his face more than anything. He might look fierce and angry to others, but he was a prince in his eyes. He even has a look ranking in his mind, and he's obviously first on the list.
Good for him, I guess. You know, confidence and all that.
Anyways, why is this brat looking at me...
Winter Hall, a small student who was incredibly cute. She had pink hair full of ribbons and quite an innocent face as well. But everyone knows of her personality. I'm pretty sure she also hates me if I remember all our interactions correctly.
So why is she looking at me like that? I'm getting Jean vibes from this, and I know this won't lead to a good outcome.
" Miss Luna! Please sign my ribbon! "
Wait... Luna? The Luna Sain? I mean, there's only one girl who is this famous in the academy. Charlotte and Winter were definitely incredibly famous, but Luna was extremely famous. She was cool and calm in everything she did, almost like a goddess with no imperfections.
I looked at who the students were swarming, and as there were only a few students in class, it was pretty easy to locate her.
Sitting in the middle of the crowd was a girl with short dark hair that reaches her neck. She had long eyelashes and dark eyes, with a small mole under her left eye.
It's really her. The one who would suffer the most in the main storyline just because she was born with the ability to control monsters.
Haa... It's going to be a long journey, but no one's dying as long as I'm here. I'm going to build this world the way I want it to be.
...
I sat in my chair and waited for class to start. Sol arrives soon, so it seems like he also doesn't plan on missing out on class despite the events that transpired just a few hours ago.
Kon enters the room not long after with the same expression as from yesterday. It was a little nerve-wracking, but my control of emotions helped me calm down. It seems like he still hasn't heard the news, so that's great. I'd still be fine for now.
" Alright, you guys will start the courses written in the cards we gave you earlier. And that's about it for now. Theories will start in the afternoon after you guys finish with your training.
" Go along now. " Kon mutters before leaving the room.
If I remember correctly, I'm in combat training. I don't know who my classmates are, but hopefully they aren't a piece of work.
[ Combat Training 1 ]
This seems to be the room. There are other first-year students inside, but we'll be taught separately from the others, if I remember correctly. The stronger and better teachers teach the higher sections.
" Are you going to go in? "
What... Didn't happened already? Déja vu?
" What are you doing? " Winter, who was standing beside me, looked at me with the same annoyed face from yesterday.
" Oh, my bad " I say, opening the door for her.
She walks in and I follow her.
Winter? Why is she in combat training? Wasn't she the strongest of all the others in terms of destructive power?
I don't really know where Winter ended up, as the story centered on Sol, who was in Energy control with Leon and Charlotte.
But anyways, this is more like a gym than a classroom, but I guess it is combat training, so having a gym as the room for this is normal.
" Look it's Winter and that Defect Hunter. "
" Wait, that's what he looked like? "
" Hey, go approach him. I mean, with his skills, he'll probably accept you as a sugar mommy. " The same old conversation goes around the gym. But instead of respect and admiration, disrespect and spite cover the gym. Well, in a world where power is everything, I guess this is just normal. It's getting fucking annoying though. If Kon wasn't here to threaten my life, I would've shut down these annoying flies.
" Quiet down! It seems like everyone's here, so go to the spots depending on your class. C-class students in that area next to the vending machine; B-class next to the weapon racks; A-class on that side; and S-class on the dummies. " A teacher shouts, directing where everyone should go.
The other students immediately started separating, and Winter also started walking. I just followed her as I could see dummies everywhere and I didn't see where she pointed.
...
" Why are you following me?! " She noticed me and looked at me angrily.
" Why not? I'm just trying to go where I was supposed to go, you know? "
" Are you a pervert? " She exclaimed, which freaked me out. How was that perverted? I knew she had quite a difficult personality, but she wasn't the type to throw baseless accusations like this.
" The hell- " I tried to say, but I suddenly saw students not from our class passing us... and entering the restroom.
Wait...
