Jessica: Oh nice. You finally finished the book. What is it about?
Tamalia: I bet it's about one of her crushes. It always is!
Me: Hahah. Not this time. I killed off the character who would be my "crush" of in the story.
Kai: You wrote a book? Nice! If it's as good as your songs. It must be nice.
Tamalia: Ah, she always said she'd write a book but she'd never finished any of them before.
Me: I kept loosing inspiration, ok! I can't help it. They just seemed so cringe when I reread them.
Kai: I just checked it out. You named it Zodiac?
Me: Yeah... I decided to call the world Zodiac. Lame name huh?
Kai: No no. It's cool. Why;d you call it that though?
Me: Ok so Zodiac is a magical world ruled by 4 elemental kingdoms. North-East, the Fire Kingdom. North-West, the earth kingdom. South-East, the Air kingdom and South-West, the water kingdom. Each kindom has 3 magic classes based on the 12 signs in the zodiac. In total there are 12 magic classes. These classes allow the user to manifest either a magic weapon or a beast. The magic class you are born with is based on the kingdom you were born in.
Jessica: Go on I'm listening.
Tamalia: I'm trying but I'm babysitting my devil of a nephew!
Kai: This is actually right up my alley. What does it mean to manifest a beast?
Me: Well For example the fire kingdom you have Leo, Aries, and Sagittarius. If your magic class is Leo you get a lion as your zodiac. If you're Aries, a ram, and if you're Sagittarius, a Bow that has a human form.
Jessica: A human what now?
Me: A human form. The bow is a spirit weapon containing a spirit. This weapon can be materialized. Once the owner has cultivated to a certain level, the owner can give its weapon a human form.
Kai: So like you can talk and drink with them like do human things.
Me: Yes, pretty much. You can even have intercourse.
Kai: Oh. What about the other kingdoms?
Me: Well For air there is Gemini which gives the owner two swords that can turn into human forms. For Libra a scale and a sword. Both can turn into humans. For Aquarius a spear that can control both air and water well without much energy.
Jessica: Oh I get it so water if you're a Scorpio you get a scorpion, if you're a Cancer you get a crab, and if you're a Pisces. You get two fish.
Kai: Water kingdom sounds super weak. They can't turn into humans?
Me: No not unless you've cultivated into the last Mondane stage. The same goes for all other beasts.
Kai: Man, it must suck to be them.
Me: Well... Scorpio is not that bad they have poison. Also, a fish can turn into a dragon.
Jessica: And crabs? Wait do water signs have water-breathing skills?
Me: Well crabs hurt if they calm you but they're not that strong. However, they have strong mental attacks out of all the signs. And yes they have water-breathing skills.
Kai: I'm guessing in the earth kingdom if you have Virgo You get a bear, Taurus you get a bull, and Capricorn a goat.
Me: A sea goat actually... They have very strong mental attacks as well as physical defense and offense.
Kai: I think I would want to be either fire or air
Jessica: Yoooo! You actually have tattoos on your characters? I thought you didn't like them, I like this fire one on her puls.
Jessica sends the picture in the book.
Me: Oh that! It appears once you fall in love with your marriage partner. Each person has their own sign. If you fall in love with someone from the fire kingdom. It starts appearing little by little and it goes away if you fall out of love.
Kai: Lemme guess each kingdom has one.
Me: Yup.
Jessica: Hey Lily whats this tree over here. And this couple under it?
Me: Oh that's the Milana plant or well tree in this case and that is LIliana and Michail. The main characters.
Kai: Wait... Are they... Dancing?
Kai: The proper wedding... It's their wedding day?
Me: *nod* yes, well remarriage, Lilianna wanted a proper marriage cause the first one was forced.
Jessica: Why Milana though?
Me: I just thought it was pretty. The Milana plant is a very powerful plant. It needs all of the elements to created. It is the plant of creation. But it is also seen as a fire plant. Because it's a plant of love. It's main atribute is fire. But a fire that doesn't use fuel to burn or destroy what it uses for energy. However, it can destroy anything.
Kai: Let me guess. This plant is what got them together.
Me: Yes. they needed to attain it to satisfy the people in order to succeed to the throne after killing the crown prince, to whom Lilianna was betrothed. But they were both either corrupt or cold. With little heart. In that state, they'd deteriorate even within the old tree's presence
Kai: But this tree doesn't look old.
Me: Well the old one was dying that's also why they needed to be able to get near it. The crown prince and his princess consort need to perform a spell to create a new one once they get in contact with the old one.
Jessica: Wait so the princess consort was cold and she just changed for him? And he changed for her. But they're both evil what reason do they have to turn good?
Me: Well duh. Of course, they didn't just change for each other. Michail actually changed for his mother. After getting to know the first crown prince's death was because of the queen and her son the king was enraged. He wanted to give the kingdom to his daughter but it was against the written laws. In a last attempt he used the Milana plant in hopes for his son to change. The king sent the queen to prison and threatened the prince that he would kill her if the prince could not attain the plant with his wife.
Kai: Oh I get it the prince's only soft spot was his mother.
Me: Yessss. Bingo! As for Lilianna she didn't really care about his wishes so she spent her time in the kingdom. Because she was free she could do what she wanted and interacted with people with the king. She did not like it but she got used to not living by the rules of the air kingdom. The king found out she had a soft spot for children so he often brought her to them.
Kai: Huh but how do they fall in love?
Me: Well they started practicing together after 2 years. Then 5 years later they were able to attain the state to attaint the plant. By that time they spent much of their time side by side.
Jessica: Well yeah, I guess after 5 years you can fall in love with someone you didn't like. I think.
Me: Remember when you fell in love with Xavior after you hated him?
Jessica: Sush girl. We don't mention that in front of my Kai.
Kai: You're kai.
Jessica: Yes my Kai.
I sighe. All my friends are dating only I have a crush on that Malachi. I groaned. I really need to get over him...
