I opened my eyes to see Melody arguing with an unknown guy in my room. Safe to say, I ended up teleporting some popcorn and drinks. While watching I heard a low hum.
"What is that Noice?" Malachi said; "Shut it up."
"Sush." I said; "It's my personal drama. Don't let them notice you, or they'll stop arguing. "
"Okay- Wait." He suddenly got up, which made some noise.
"I said to keep it down!" I scolded him in a low tone. "If they stop, I will send you to freeze in the coldest part of the fire kingdom again and again." I threatened.
Malachi just sat and observed the two.
"Lilianna," He said unamused.
"Yes?" I replied.
"Are you seriously just watching them argue?" Malachi said; "And enjoying it."
I nodded my head and looked at him. "Popcorn?" I said.
He shook his head and grabbed a cushion.
"What are you doing I asked.
"Throwing it on them so I can go back to sleep." He replied.
I seized his hand. "Absolutely not!" I whisper yelled; "I will enjoy my show. This is a free drama! I was serious about sending you to the coldest region of the fire kingdom!"
"Aren't you even concerned that there are strangers in our room?" He asked.
I shook my head and pointed to Melody. "Pretty Lady over there is Melody. As for the guy… I don't know. Perhaps he's her boyfriend."
Malachi sighed and dropped the pillow. "They're so cute!" I said; "I ship!"
Just then Melody but the cake to her mouth which the guy in black bit in a flash before Melody could pull back. "Oh. My. gosh!" I said; "A kiss!"
"It's just a kiss." Malachi replied; "And stop watching them. It's rude."
I scowled. "They're here in my room. Eating my food." I said; "It's only fair."
"I will temporarily strip you of your powers and torture you and heal you until I'm satisfied!" I suddenly heard and looked towards the two.
"Okay!" I said; "That's enough. Don't kill the poor guy. No stains in my bedroom, please, Melody."
"You mean my bedroom." Malachi said. I looked over to him.
"Sad, cause from the day we got married, it became our bedroom." I said.
"Did you have to remind me of that." Malachi whispered back.
"Do you always have to say something back?" I replied.
"Oh, Lilianna! You're awake!" Melody said; "I didn't mean to bother. It's just that your stupid yauria is too greedy to share a small cake." Melody glared at the guy in black as if he were a menace. The feelings seemed to be mutual.
"You damned lucky Yauria. Don't let me fight you on food again. Stupid Yauria, " Melody said.
I placed my hands to my mouth. "Oh my gosh! No way!" I said; "You're my Yauria?"
The guy in black nodded. "Man, this day just gets better." I said.
"Stop looking at him like you've found a gold mine." Malachi said.
"Look, honey. I'm just surprised that he turned from such a cute cat to such a handsome guy!" I said. "I ship him with Melody already. Don't they look so cute!"
"What!" Melody and Yudia cried, pointing at each other: "No way! Her/Him?"
"See they even are in sync!" I said.
They both glared at me. "She's too tall!"He's too weak!" They said at the same time in protest. "I don't like straight hair." Yudia said. "And I'm not into lighter colored guys." She said.
"Well, they do say love makes you blind." I heard Malachi say.
Melody glared at him. "Say's the guy that ended up dating a girl who was his type." Melody said.
"I- Wait! How did you even know that?" Malachi asked. Melody pointed towards me. "I was made from her memories. So inknow everything she knows." Melody said.
"Oh…" Malachi said. I sighed and got up. "I'll get some more food." I said; "Yudia heat up the food and teach Malachi how to do it while you're at it. He could really use some help with it."
"Can I come with you?" Melody asked. I smiled and nodded. "Why not. Let's talk."
In the kitchen
Lilianna's perspective
The maids looked at me. They bowed. " Good evening. Princess Lilianna and..." They looked towards Melody.
"Oh, this is Melody." I said; "She's a friend of mine. Treat her well. I came down for some more food."
The maids bowed. "Good evening, Lady Melody. What would you like to eat?" The head maid asked.
"Oh! It's okay. You can all go ahead." I said; "We can get the food ourselves. I'd like to catch up with her on some things."
After the maids left, I looked at Melody.
"So..." I started: "To what do I owe the pleasure of you visiting me?"
"What? Me? I just came to see how you were doing." Melody replied.
I looked at her skeptically. "Cut the crap. What's the real reason you're here?" I asked; "There is no way you would waste your energy just to visit me."
Melody chuckled. "Oh, c'mon! I'm not that bad of a friend." She countered.
I raised my eyebrows
"You would never come here just to chill," I said. "Something must be wrong."
"Ok, fine. You're right. There seems to be a big problem." Melody began.
"And? What is the big problem?" I asked."Well, you see. It seems the contract you made has been nullified. Or well, actually, it's been burnt." Melody said. "Burnt?" I asked. "Yes. Burnt." Melody said.
"How did that even happen?" I asked.
"I'm not too sure. There was a super strong wave of fire magic. And then BOOM! The contract went up inflames. And there were petals around it. They were really red. Similar to carnations." Melody said.
A lightbulb turned on in my head. "Oh... It's probably cause I got Malachi to use his fire element. His carnation is red. It's as red as blood."
"Well, it caused the real princess Liliann to wake up."
"So... Is that bad?" I inquired.
"Oh, I don't know. A heartless princess woke up and had access to all knowledge as a system since you're in her body now.How could that possibly be dangerous." Melody said sarcastically.
"Oh yeah..." I said
Melody hummed and said: "You should probably meet her.
I sighed.
"That"s not everything. Since the contract has been nullified, this world reverted back to how it was. It also won"t allow any changes to the storyline." Melody said.
"So you're saying..."
"This world wants Malachi dead. One way or another." Melody said.
I stopped placing food on plates and frowned. "But if Malachi dies, I won't be able to go home, right?" I asked.
"Yup!" Melody said. I sighed. "Well, on the bright side, you've regained your self-control around him again. You can even fall for the second prince." She said and winked.
"Hah, please! Even if I did manage to get over my feelings for Malachi, what is there to fall for?" I said.
Melody shrugged her shoulders. "I mean, didn't Lily fall in love with Michail in the original plot?" She asked.
"Probably because he ended turning into a genuinely nice guy and spent time with her. That or because the better option died in the beginning." I said
Melody nodded. "Makes sense. That makes sense. So what's the plan now?" She asked.
I sighed. "I'll think about it. For now, I think I'll go to the border between our kingdoms to train."
"Are you planning on contacting your sister to get stronger." Melody said.
I laughed. "You know me so well. Alright, let's go back upstairs and bring some food back to the guys. I bet they're starving. "
As we walked, I elbowed Melody. "By the way... You really do look really cute with my Yauria."
"Oh shush, you." Melody said. "Oh, yeah. Also, the real prince also woke up. He should be pretty nice.
