Looking at the massive corpse before turning to look at Horu smiling at him, Blake felt aggrieved. He spent so much brain power and energy to fend off the titan lord's attacks and was planning to fight a life and death battle with it.
However, what he hadn't taken into account during his planning was Horu, the incredibly overpowered Void King. But before Blake could execute his plan, Horu had already flown here and killed the monster in one slash.
"Really? Did...did you just cut down the titan lord with one slash? I...I...." Before Blake could wrap his head around this unnerving fact, Horu's smile grew even wider.
"You're welcome!" Horu chuckled.
"Help not needed!" Annoyed by Horu's unneeded help, Blake created a halberd before he stormed his way through the titan lord's corpse.
Seeing Blake sliced his way through effortlessly, Horu could only let out a sigh before he followed Blake into the castle.
Titan Lord Castle
"Hey Blake, can I ask you a question?"
"What is it?"
"Did you get shorter?? Like...I'm pretty sure you weren't this short before."
"Yes, I've regressed in height. It's because of that stupid desert trap. The creator of this labyrinth has integrated Size Regression spells into every grain of sand there that after an hour, you will feel like you're walking a never ending road as you become smaller and smaller. Now that I thought about it, you might actually hit a microscopic level when you reach the gate. Furthermore, the creator of the labyrinth had casted illusion magic on the castle to fuck with our senses. Besides the Size Regressing Desert and the Illusionary Castle, this subspace had a Spiritual Sense restriction as well. Damn, this labyrinth creator was too freaking cautious!" The speed of the words that flew out of Blake's mouth was so fast, Horu could only nod his head with barely understanding anything. He did however, show an enlightened look when he heard the last part of Blake's explanation.
"Aahhh...So that's why my Spiritual Sense couldn't travel far. The creator of this labyrinth must have been a very powerful being then. And you're sure this labyrinth wasn't created by that Undead Shadow God, Malkai? I mean, this is a part of his tomb and all that I just can't fathom..."
"How did a Heavenly God allow another being to create their labyrinth in his tomb? Yeah, Malkai was a strange guy..." Blake smiled as he reminisced about his peaceful afterlife in Elysium.
Malkai that mad scientist would visit Blake every weekend to reveal some heaven shaking knowledge that could potentially revolutionize the afterlife but would always leave in disappointment after Blake reviewed his discoveries.
His ideas were amazing and innovative, but the fact that the both of them were living in Elysium, the afterlife of all heroes and people of excellence, a place where all of the greatest minds of each generation presided in, made his ideas seem mediocre at best.
The day Blake was reincarnated was the 14914th time Malkai's ideas were reviewed and burned. Thinking back now, Blake couldn't help but feel a little sad since he doesn't know whether he'll be able to return to Elysium again.
Returning back to reality, Blake and Horu found themselves in a massive room. The walls were studded with gigantic gemstones and there was a gigantic size throne in the middle of the room. "This must be where the Titan Lord sat," Horu pointed out.
Witnessing everything at the size of an ant for the first time, both Blake and Horu couldn't help but gaped as they started sweating profusely. They now understood the feelings of insects.
Since the dead titan lord was hundreds of meters when it was alive, the chair he sat on would inevitably be massive as well. "This...how tall is this chair, Horu?"
"Uhm, let me check..." Spreading out his Spiritual Sense, it took Horu a whole 5 minutes to fully cover this giant throne. "It's 555 meters tall and 400 meters wide, its total surface area is 391600 m^2 and the chair's volume is 44400000 m^3...Damn, this is really too massive!"
"Jeez, you didn't need to calculate the area and volume of the throne as well!" Blake rebuked. He really felt like giving Horu a hard slap to the face for wasting their time doing math here.
They were currently 2 weeks in and they've only made it to the Labyrinth of Fallen Rings entrance before killing what might have been the boss of the labyrinth. Now, they were in the boss's throne room calculating the total surface area and volume of a freaking chair! If this wasn't wasting time, Blake didn't know what would be.
"Alright, alright...I'm done. I'm -- "Horu was about to take back his Spiritual Sense when he suddenly spotted something shiny on the chair. Without hesitation, he gave Blake a wait sign before he teleported to the top of the chair.
Arriving at the top, Horu scanned the 11 football field big seats for a hot minute before he finally found what he was looking for. Flying over to it, Horu picked up the item before he began inspecting it. It was a rusty sword hilt that had golden veins coursing through the blade's surface. With a flick of his hand, Horu threw the sword blade at a nearby armrest to test out the sword blade's durability.
Since this place was where the titan lord had sat before, the fact that the sword blade was rusted but did not have any cracks on it proved that this sword blade was incredibly durable and was probably made from some high grade rare metal. Furthermore, its lightweightedness shocked Horu when he threw it at the armrest.
"BOOM! "The sword blade had actually destroyed the entire armrest! Feeling happy that he had found a treasure, Horu teleported back to Blake's side to show him the goods.
Blake glanced at the sword blade for a bit before he gave Horu a curt nod. He wanted to explore this place a bit more first and that they can share their findings with each other back home.
Understanding Blake's expression, Horu lightly sighed as put the sword blade into his space ring. After that, they began their search for more treasures within the Titan Lord's Castle!
