Using his Creation Magic to create a halberd out of thin air, Blake stabbed the ground with all his might as he was blown backwards. Though, even with his strongest magic, Blake was still blown back 1000 meters before he was able to come to a complete halt.
His hands still shaking from the attack just now, Blake gazed at the massive humanoid figure standing within the castle walls. The figure who attacked him was hundreds of meters tall and tens of meters wide. Not only was the humanoid figure huge and domineering, his entire body was pulsing with bloodlust as he gazed at Blake with a hungry glint in his eyes.
Blake recognized this humanoid figure. Those bulging muscles, those well carved calves, that mountainous strength...No doubt about it, that was a titan, no, that titan was a titan lord!
Even though the titan lord was a kilometer away from Blake, Blake could still sense the being's dominating presence. When the titan lord's nonexistent eyes fell upon Blake, the massive being smiled wickedly. Silence filled the air for a moment before the earth started to rumble. The titan lord was moving!
"BOOM!" Every step it took would shake the earth as it gave rise to sand dragons.
"BOOM!!!" Blake started to sweat as he felt his insides contract from fear. This was the first time he had felt this way after getting reincarnated. Usually, it was him that struck fear into the hearts of others, not the other way around. He tried to regulate his breathing but the titan lord didn't give any chance to do so.
"BOOOM!!!!" With a stomp of his foot, the titan lord summoned a dozen sand dragons from the ground before he kicked them at Blake's direction. Staring at the onslaught of sand dragons coming right at him, Blake could only discard any thoughts about steadying himself as he created several brown rectangular shields to block the attack.
"[Earth Phalanx]! Pyramid style!" With a swing of his arm, the rectangular shields around him transformed into triangles before they closed in on Blake from all sides. Squatting down, Blake churned out another string of hand seals as the shields finally got into a phalanx formation pyramid style. Soon, the sand around Blake began to solidify and began forming pillars that rose into the air.
"Tier 3 Defensive Formation, Sky Holding Pillar Formation! Rise!" Doing one last series of hand seals, Blake clapped his hands once before he slammed them at the ground. A total of 12 pillars had risen from the ground as they formed the circular formation. Soon, sand began swirling around the entire formation. Within another 5 breaths of time, the sand swirling around the 12 pillars have evolved into a sand hurricane one hundred metres tall.
"BOOM!" When the dozen or so sand dragons smashed into the sand hurricane, neither side budged. The sand dragons were strong, but the sand hurricane conjured by the Sky Holding Pillar Formation was equally strong.
It wasn't until the titan lord kicked another sand tsunami at the sand hurricane that the hurricane faltered for a moment, thus getting half of it's volume consumed by the sand dragons and therefore decreased to a height of 60 meters tall.
Seeing that his attacks were successful, the titan lord slowed down its pace. Amused by Blake's puny resistance, it proceeded to let out a long low roar to the heavens. It was at this moment that the sand dragons became more vigorous and eager as they smashed themselves against the sand hurricane.
Blake, who was inside the Earth Phalanx triangular formation couldn't help cursing out loud when he sensed that 2 of the 12 Sky Holding Pillars were about to collapse. "Fuck, I didn't think that the sand dragons would power up after that massive asshole roared. I underestimated the titan lord's abilities, damn it!"
As the powered up sand dragons continued to smash themselves against the ever so weakening sand hurricane, Blake was grasping this danger free time to inspect his body for any injuries. When the sand hurricane shatters, Blake will have to reveal all of his trump cards to deal with the titan lord. After doing a brief check of his own body, Blake was relieved that he had only suffered minor injuries from before.
Thinking back on how he was suddenly blown away, when he got to the castle gates, Blake only remembered that the gates opened a bit before he felt a strong repulsive force pushing him away. It felt like he was shot by a really big air cannon that caused him to tumble through the air before he could stop. Gritting his teeth, Blake casted a basic healing spell - [First Aid?] on himself.
A scorching feeling washed every organ and meridian inside his body whereas his outer body felt bone chilling cold, heating and freezing his wounds over and over again to speed up the body's recovery rate. This was a horrible healing spell yet this was the only healing spell Blake could cast due to his low cultivation realm. After a stick of incense time, Blake had successfully endured the two extreme temperatures and soon recovered all of his wounds.
'Eh? When did it get so quiet?' As Blake was busy healing himself with that shit spell just now, he hadn't noticed that the commotion outside had seemingly quieted down. All Blake could hear was the swirling sand of the terribly small sand hurricane.
Checking up on his defensive formation, Blake was stunned to find out that 7 of the 12 Sky Holding Pillars had long been reduced back to sand. What made Blake find it more weird was that there weren't any sand dragons attacking his sand hurricane anymore. 'Has the titan lord stopped attacking? No, judging by its nature, it will not stop until I'm dead...Then, why did the titan lord stop?'
Disabling the defensive formation, the sand hurricane dispersed back into sand as Blake got out of his tiny sand bunker. What he saw next made him question life as he felt his world views crumble into nothingness. He was planning to have a life and death battle with the titan lord but that couldn't happen anymore since the titan lord was lying on its stomach, dead from blood loss. Standing by the titan lord's corpse was a handsome youth with silky black hair...Oh nevermind, it was just Horu.
