"My name is Loki. Sorry about earlier." Himu apologised, eager to start a conversation with the girls.
"It's fine, I was not looking where I was going. I am Hayu and the short one here is Shia. Nice to meet you." the taller dwarf said.
"I'm not the only dwarf here." Shia retorted, apparently angry.
Hayu muttered, "Shorty, I was talking about real life."
"Huh? I can't hear you, money grabber." Shia said, but she definitely heard it.
Hayu did not say anything, she just held her dear friend's head in her right armpit and gave her a noogie.
Shia decided to return the favour in a different way, she placed her left leg behind Hayu's right leg and made her lose her balance, both of them falling on the unpaved road on which they were walking a few seconds ago.
It reminded Himu of a time Gagan had forcefully taken him to a wrestling match, saying he didn't want to go alone and he couldn't let Swara watch such violence.
Shia stood up, "First, you don't fight with someone 7 levels above you. You'll lose. Second, archers don't fight warriors in close combat. You'll lose. Last and the most important one, you don't make Shorty Money angry. You'll lose." She asserted, folding her arms while sitting over her fallen comrade.
Then she looked at Himu, who was just dumbly staring at her.
She smirked, "Ara Ara, did you fall in love with big sister Shia's moves? Want me to try them on you tonight?"
He quickly said, "Sorry, no!", making it sound more like a squeak and started walking as fast as he could. The others all started walking quickly, not wanting to lose their guide.
He was scared of very few things, but shameless girls would definitely be the second most scary.
Anatidaephobia always tops the list.
But it also helped him with one thing, which was that he would almost always be aware of his surroundings, which was why he noticed that quite a few people had been looking at the fight a few seconds ago, some even recognising one of them as the 'Shorty Money', which meant Shia.
{But why would some random people know her? Is she a celebrity?} was on her mind, while the two, still having their friendly argument, catched up to him.
He decided to check it on the internet instead of directly asking.
Instead he asked Hayu a bit quietly, "Why did she call herself big sister Shia? Is she older than she looks? I mean, much more older than she looks?"
Shia, who was listening to their conversation, puffed up her cheeks, while Hayu giggled, "Yes, she is actually 29 years old despite her *𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩* appearance. Also, that's just her way of teasing someone new she meets, don't pay it any attention."
"You can't just go around telling people my age, you 21 year old dumb kid." That wasn't very funny, but Shia laughed at her own words nonetheless.
"I'm going to be 22 next week." Hayu told her.
"Oh! When's your birthday?" Himu asked, before they could go back to arguing. He thought that maybe he would give her a small gift. (Emphasis on SMALL)
"Oh, it's actually on..."
None of them saw a green clothed figure until it reached their location and dragged Himu by his ear until the town's gate, where a barrier stopped them from going further.
{What?! Swara? Ow. How did I not see her until she pulled my ear. Ow. So much for my situational awareness.}
Those were his last thoughts.
Before he had to listen to her sister's half an hour lecture about staying away from strangers, especially girls.
