"Are you sure that you want to take the collar off from Zion's neck, Lady Valerie?" Martin asked as he was busy dusting off some grime on the furniture they had inside the manor.
The great hall didn't have that many people around them. Some of the maids were roaming around cleaning the whole place. Martin and Valerie stood at the side as they talked about Zion's collar.
"That's right. I think he has been with us for a week already and he didn't seem to be that violent as we thought he was," Valerie explained as she stared at Martin in the eye, who seemed surprised by her declaration. "Is there something wrong with it, Martin?"
Martin cleared his throat as he took off the working gloves he wore and held them on his right hand. He blinked twice and managed his facial expression, "Of course not, Lady Valerie. I believe that you know him better than I do and from what I could see," he paused with a smile. "He deserves your trust."
