Valerie stared at the ruined tulips in front of her. The young girl's back seemed to be so lonely that she wanted to approach and hug her right at the moment. But she didn't dare to do so because she didn't know her personally.
She had never been in a situation where Valerie had been out of money, but she knew how hard it was to show everyone a strong face when all she wanted to do was cry.
The rugged man had already left the scene, and the crowd that had gathered earlier now left as if they went there to watch the drama unfold, enjoyed it, and left it as it was.
Instead of crying, Valerie was surprised to see the young girl stand up like nothing had happened. First, the young girl brushed the dirt off of her clothes. Then, taking a deep breath, she grabbed the ruined flowers in front of her, went inside the stall and threw the flowers at the side.
