"The accessories look so pretty!" Valerie exclaimed as she paused at a stall, selling different hairpins, brooches, necklaces, and bracelets in the town.
Valerie decided to tag along with Kai, who replenished the lilac flowers they had in the manor. Kai said that he bought the flowers from a certain girl who seemed to be the best at knowing the flowers she sold.
"You certainly have such good tastes, young lady," a female merchant commented as she picked up a beautiful pearl hair brooch and handed it over to Valerie. "You definitely suit this well."
Valerie's eyes sparkled as she watched the merchant place the brooch on her palms. Then, she turned to Kai, who was walking ahead of her now approaching her with a smile.
"Valerie, I was talking to you when I realized that you weren't there anymore," Kai said with a big grin plastered on his face, "And here you are, marveling at a piece of brooch when you already have lots of them in your possession."
