" Ohhh, you're going to build one for us now, is that why you are here?"
" I guess that means we'll get to be neighbors with them," I said and looked at the centaurs fawning over the King and his fairy subjects.
" They'll get used to you all, later on, don't worry about it"
" However, I wouldn't be the one building your houses, you seriously expected an advisor to take that role?"
" Who will build them then?" Fredrick asked
" The talented ones of those around you" she responded.
" Wait... you don't mean.."
" Go wake the others" she instructed and Fredrick took it upon himself to return and do so.
" The talented ones? You mean those with Magic?"
" Yes! I promised Styri, I was going to check and evaluate his top students when I came back last time"
" Ohh, I haven't been around the school since then, I wonder how they'll look like," I said
" They're just like the others, come on let's move"
The King and his followers managed to break free of the horde of the fanatics and they zoomed over towards us.
" King Oberi"
" Good Morning sibling," he said as usual.
'What does he mean by a sibling? I have to ask him one of these days.
Some seconds later, my friends came out of the hut and joined us.
Just then, sounds of hooves running across the hard ground were heard from the distance. It was Chief Sytri and he was running hastily over here.
" My King, Miss Zephyr!" he said and bowed, it felt nice to finally understand him once again.
' I have to learn their tongue and magic as well'
We all trod toward the school alongside Miss Zephyr and the King with some of the villagers behind us.
Upon, getting there, I saw about a dozen centaurs from the distance standing in a rigid and organized manner on the school's ground. They all were in a row, well-arranged like soldiers, they also had the stern look they had as well.
" My King, Miss Zephyr, and my fellow superiors welcome to our prestigious school"
" After a few months of training these warriors in the way of Mana, they attained mastery over it and they're just a step from being full-fledged warriors!" he said vigorously while those he talked about remained still in their position.
" Witness their efforts as they take these tests!"
As he said this, they all broke formation and two came forward and faced the other direction like they had planned to do so.
These twelve centaurs, in fact, had about six males amongst them and four females. They all were quite young compared to most of the other villagers I see around, they weren't as tall as the Chief and his wife but they still were a bit taller than I am.
We all stood at a spot quite close to them, not enough to bother them, the king, Miss Zephyr, and the others were at our sides observing them as well, all the villagers were present as well, they were just as few as I guessed, on a total, they weren't above a hundred and fifty.
We were all audience in this event watching the young centaurs holding a performance before us.
The two that had separated, two males with quite a striking resemblance suddenly lunged their right arms forward in unison. One produced a stream of fire that seemed so dense like magma and shot it forward while it streamed graciously like twisting itself in a dance.
The other shot out a stream of water that looked so pure and just like its counterpart it moved graciously.
The two moved at the same pace with a bit of distance between them and they aligned with each other as they suddenly put off the space between them and formed a giant centaur with half fire, half water outlook.
" Whoa!" I exclaimed, it was so aesthetic and it seemed so calm yet powerful. I was certain that it required precise control to pull off.
Others were drawn in by the performance and the look of excitement had washed away the feeling of drowsiness they had.
" Whoa! Can I do that with enough practice?" Jake asked.
" I don't know..... Miss Zephyr?"
" You should be able to with appropriate training," she said.
" Whoa! I suddenly feel so enthusiastic about this" he said.
" I don't think you're the only one" seeing the expressions on them, I was certain they were interested as well.
