Vibrations shook the ground as the group of centaurs brought the tall mass of earth back to where it ought to be.
" Now, it's time for the finale! We will show our kindness by dedicating this last spell to our newfound friends" Styri shouted.
'Sure, friends' I thought, I knew he didn't mean it but that didn't matter as long as we get a roof over our heads for a short while.
Immediately after he said this, the six struck their palms against the earth, and behold! Some distance away from where we stood, opposite the great school, walls came up.
Walls stood up, and I noticed the bunch stirring their hands against the hard soil, and with every stroke, the mass of earth at the distance morphs and shapes itself.
More walls of clay sprouted up and they had already made it have the look of a house already.
Six uncompleted houses were in view, seems like it was one for each person and unlike before, this one seemed to stress them a lot more. The focus they had, their demeanor, and how they moved their hands suggested this.
Everything seemed to fall in shape as they continued however, I noticed that the houses had a striking resemblance to the others.
' it wouldn't hurt to change things a bit I couldn't voice my thoughts though, they're already going out of their way to do this, and I certainly didn't want to bother them. I might as well accept every bit of unfiltered kindness they had to offer until I get to know them.
Everything had come into place except that it was missing one person, the roofs and doors weren't done.
" Well! That will be done without the use of magic" Zephyr blurted and came right in front of me.
" In the meantime, I and my King would like to speak to you all."
We all walked out of the crowds, I noticed that the entire team was on this, as they all engaged with one doing or the other, huge wood pieces was brought and they went to work.
With all the excited screams and cheers gone off our range, the king proceeded to speak.
" Ehemm! I and Zephyr had a discussion to increase your chances of survival in this world, I certainly do know that you don't intend to stay here forever. We both thought that it would be great if you all start schooling here since Zephyr is the only one that can effectively communicate with you all, she'll be in charge of this, This cuts through learning the major languages of this world and magic, we certainly don't want your talents to go wasted."
" Also, in a week from now, I'll have to introduce you lot to a conference of rulers, I reached a friend and he made it happen, the rulers are very curious and wary about your transportation."
" You all will be accompanied by me, Zephyr, and a few others"
" What?!" Jake yelled.
" I hate being in the spotlight, not to mention that not all will be as kind as the fairies" he blasted.
" Emm...." I wanted to speak but I was immediately interrupted.
" Don't worry about that, you all have my protection and I'm sure they will abide by it"
" Are there going to be humans?" Germaine asked.
" Most certainly, the king of the Arslan kingdom will be present and he will surely bring others with him as well"
" Ahh, I feel nervous," Belle said.
" Well that's it, you all will miss the construction of your houses if you don't hurry"
He and Zephyr moved back to their spots, they couldn't miss their actions since they were the judges.
" A week from now huh" I muttered.
" We mustn't stand out and stir trouble, although the King was kind enough to give his word about protecting us, that doesn't make us completely safe.
" I'm really curious, how far have humans progressed in this world"
"Look! We'll miss the finishings" Belle shouted.
We all hurried back but we missed it, doors were already fixed and the roofs were in place as well.
They all were done and a horde of their peers surrounded them, cheering them and congratulating them from the looks of it.
" Ohh, this isn't bad, I guess the girls will take one of the houses"
" Why do we have to be the ones to share? and why did they build six, there are seven of us" Sasha yelled.
" So you don't want to share?" I asked.
" That isn't the point, you shouldn't have judged that we two will share. I have no qualms about sharing a house with Belle"
" That's settled then, you two will share one, we guys will help ourselves with the others"
" You're so annoying" Sasha yelled.
